BMSCE IEEE Review

Students are really good and well behaved, but faculties are worst and behave like uneducated fellow, faculties have to learn from their students not students from faculties, faculties using very rubbish words, faculties they want to prov themselves are working for institute but not for the students.

Excellent place and nice atmosphere. First private college started in Bangalore. This college is very famous for quality of education.

Please read this original review before it is deleted by the college .This is the worst college for engineering.The college is built on false reputation and much older reviews . The orientations were showing placements occuring 20 years ago and they have changed the dates to fool you. Only children who want to ruin there lives choose this college especially for mechanical engineering. I just managed to prevent myself from committing suicide for 4 years. I got no job for 2 years (not because i was incompetent or a bad student and you can read below why)I CAN SUMMARIZE MY EXPERIENCE UNDER THE FOLLOWING HEADS. please read them if you do not want to ruin your life. Me and my friends have honestly suffered a lot of mental trauma and the teachers had a huge role to play.
TEACHING AND CURRICULUM-The teachers don't know how to teach or even speak basic English. Most of them teach in kannada which can't be understood by 90%of the students including NRI's ofcourse. I am a pass out of 2014 batch. But the machines are as old as my grandfather's age and world war 2 i.e. 70 years old. We were never taught any modern techniques or how to work with machines that would actually be useful today. The curriculum was never revised despite the fact that it is the duty of the college itself . This college has forced our batch and many previous batches to become incompetent engineers even though we wanted to learn and do so much.
TEACHERS- The teachers are highly arrogant and a lot of power is given to them so they can fail any child they like, mess with the grades for as long as they want, and destroy the grades in our marksheet for all 4 years. Some of the teachers don't know EVEN 7TH STANDARD PHYSICS. YES THAT'S TRUE. And if you argue they will fail you. If you question they fail you . If you ask doubts they never answer.They only favour girls.(if any by chance in ur class) the ppt was newly made with old syllabus at our time. But now for the 2019 batch its older content and older ppt(75yr old content)
Its compulsory to fill the online feedback form with GOOD reviews or else they'll fail you if you try to complain.
PLACEMENT-
THERE WERE 1 OR 2 PLACEMENT FROM OUR BATCH OF 240 STUDENTS AND THAT IS SUCH A HUGE NO. BECAUSE THE NEXT BATCH HAD 0 PLACEMENTS. AND THE TEACHERS ARE PROUD ABOUT THE FACT THAT NOBODY GETS PLACED BECAUSE THEY DELIBERATELY MADE INCOMPETENCE AND DEAD ENGINEERS !! they destroy your learning and skills totally
CAMPUS - walls are not painted,the campus was green at my time but as of this year according to my brother who is still in the college,all the greenery has disappeared and replaced by many buildings for law and architecture. ( for which this college might have got sanctioned for)
LAB AND LAB STAFF-the lab assistants dont know anything neither do the lab incharges but their ego is unmatchable. Neither do they speak proper English/hindi. If you try to learn new techniques and methods and try to work on them they wont let you(they never give permission neither do they guide you). You cant use the 1or 2 modern machines or even the old ones for most of your work. No project is even encouraged or funded.
1 or 2 modern machines are only for display when govt officials come for inspections and that day all the children are given a holiday specifically so that we cant speak up.
HOSTELS-

But the IH hostels are good.
This is just a brief description but the reality ofcourse. If you dont believe ask a student from our college and you will know
MECHANICAL ENGINEERING IN THIS COLLEGE IS THE WORST IDEA. ITS BETTER TO DROP OR PURSUE ANOTHER COURSE.
I am writing this review now as my brother is facing even more tougher time.

First private college started in Bengaluru centrally located & has provided good no.of engineers to various industries in Bangalore and our country . Though various branches of engg available all faculties are not doing well as the competition has increased with highest no of engg. Colleges have started during last decade. ANYHOW BMS COLLEGE STANDS AT SECOND POSITION IN BANGALORE AFTER RV COLLEGE OF ENGG.

I did the M-Tech in computer Science in 2002-2004; The college is the Best. superb environment

College is very good , placements are good too but management mints a lot of money called as Fastrack sem (Rs 1000 per credit so if u have a 6 credit subj as back you got to pay a hefty amount of Rs 6000). But that's how autonomous college are in Bangalore. Just started off education well take healthy turns.
Advice for lateral entry student is you got work harder than you could work the next two for diploma student is kinda easy. Good life ahead!!

Great college! Lots of clubs and extra curricular activities. Really cool teachers too (well there are a few bad ones but tell me which college doesn't have one). Place is right there in the city not on the outskirts. Lots of restaurants nearby too if you're a foodie.

The college administration and management is in cohoots with education mafia and brokers!You select something,some branch,some course and they will hand over to u something different!Malpractice takes place alot.Locals pay somewhere around 15 to 45000 for the education whereas for the same substandard model of education a management quota student is asked to pay 3Lakhs plus!And their is no preference of management students!Infact localites are the first preference!
Worst college,totally prejudiced,North-South partiallity is a typical scenario here!Teachers start teaching Kannada instead of engineering! No teaching,no training,no facilities,no good faculties(except a couple in each department)! No experience with staff! Ultra poor value for money!Better put your money down the drain! Never after coming to this college should anyone advice anybody else to come here! You will definitely feel your school system,teaching and in my case even the campus was better! The college spends like our govt.everything is on site and news and rumours in the air,but work nowhere!The university has no value,the degree has no value! It doesnt hold UGC recognition,it means you wont have problems in getting jobs in Karnataka and Andhra,but outside!!!! If you have alot of money just wanna do a namesake valueless engineering ...please come here to this ultra poor college full of totally frustrated from life individuals and be amazed of how can they ruin your career n life! Stayed in hostel for 3 years! The cooking is ultra poor,food stuff and quality-very very bad,chicken,eggs,other dairy and farm products are Unconsumable and unhealthy,yet the same is repeated again and again,a scam is run by the hostel faculty separately! Cleaning and maintainance of hostel is ultraaa poor,the toilets are unhygienic and unhealthy,most of the bath accessories are either broken or stolen! The canteen is simply for namesake,no taste,no health,no care.They are even worse than the hostel! The teachers and the professors seem to be hope of any dying college,yet here? Teachers are the dying cause and are totally hopeless,they expect all to attend tutions and have a pre requisite knowledge,not a single teacher is helping from their nature or hearts! I even wanted to ask for a refund! When you didn't teach me why pay fees? Somehow just managed to leave this hell hole for a much better life!

I studied here. One of the oldest colleges in Bangalore. Impressive building. Excellent location. Very nice auditorium. Focus on all round development of students.

The college is very good .the teachers are really amazing ,they teach the concepts well( especially mechanical) . The college is in heart of the city . It's got many foodcourts and canteens which are good . Bad news for sports lovers is that the ground has been demolished for constructing a diamond Jubilee building(75th year celebrations) . There is a ground size of half football ground where everyone will be crouded to play. So if u don't bother the ground it's a great college to do graduation in the whole of south India .
