Can any one please comment about the cost of the metro if we compare with Delhi, Kolkata jaipur, chennai and etc... I feel, rate should be reduced. As well as the parking fees also kind of slightly higher side which adds more pain to the customer.
Metro should cover at least 50 percent of city.it has now covered hardly 5percent.
Good service and security for passengers. But the token ticket system for accessing train is little bit poor.

For IT people 80 rupees may not be a problem at all but for person who go for daily wages may not feasible to afford 80 rupees per trip.

During peak hours, people are filled like animals in coaches

The metro service is good but the stations are not properly maintained. Feeder services in the form of minibuses (like that in Delhi) will help lot of regular commuters.Do hope BMRCL & BMTC join hands in providing feeder bus services.
Bangalore Metro gives the best connectivity option so far for the east-west city areas. Although not really sure how the Green line beyond Yeswantpur was supposedly put on priority but better late than never.

Will take you some asking around to figure out how to get there with many govt offices being in the same building but Really Friendly staff though.
The thing I liked the most is the cleanliness in metro stations. Staff is very cooperative. Reasonable fare. Time saving and frequent trains.

I loved it. It as very helpful me to move from one place to another. But the trains are too crowdy which make hectic to me
I recently traveled in Metro from Baiyappanahalli to Yelchenahalli station and in my excitement to meet my nephew, I didn't realize that I had lost my bracelet. When I realized this the next day, I was completely heart broken. I immediately called the driver of the Ola cab I had taken in the morning and my Brother in Law to check if it was their in their cars. They did not find it. Only other place I could check was in Sister's house because I had no hopes of finding it, if I had lost it on Metro or one of the stations. So, with a heavy heart, I thought of waiting till evening for my sister to check at home.
Few minutes later, my Brother in Law called to tell me that the previous day, while we were waiting in the queue to exit at Yelchenahalli station, he had seen someone handing over a gold ornament to a security personal. So he suggested me to check with BMRCL. I contacted BMRCL Call Center and someone there suggested I write a mail with all the details of my journey. With not much of hopes, I did send a mail. In the evening, my sister contacted the security at Yelchenahalli Station, told them the whole story and showed them the Pic of the bracelet and the mail from me to BMRCL. The security personnel there immediately recognized the bracelet, took her to the security department. After collecting ID proof from my sister, they handed over the bracelet to my sis.
My heartfelt thanks to BMRCL security and the lady who had found my Gold bracelet!!! God bless them both!!!

Situated in a good area. There are many sections of the building. Each had different entry. I had a tough time to find my desired floor. For reaching 5th floor of the same wing, they have different entry from backside.
It is becoming a lifeline of Bangalore. Many officegoers are depending on it. Justlike local trains to Mumbai metro is for Bangalore. But expansion of metro is needed for the city which is expanding like an Octopus, but at the same rate civil amenities are not developing. Ex: Namma Metro. It's required expansion length is 350kms where as it's present length is less than one tenth.
