even though i give them five star is because they are a great company outside the front office so that being said i have been out of work since 6/28/2020 with covid-19 and still to this day have not heard anything about any kind of unemployment until i can return or fmla that i my be entitled to no one in that front office will return calls so please if you could have a little compation for a good employee
Nice staff and probably one of the biggest construction companies around
I worked for this company as a certified concrete finisher for NC Dot Services that Blythe contracted with and this company is the best family oriented company that I have ever been honored to work with.
Blythe Development seems to think my backyard is the road in/out of one of their projects. It's not. After a number of phone calls, it's obvious they don't care.
Extremely unprofessional workers. I hired them to repair the concrete slabs on my walk way and they had no clue what they were doing. They came out crooked and uneven and they were just chatting and barley even working. Never hire these people extremely inexperienced!!!!
The opposite of clean. Do not take ownership of mistakes and pass it off on someone else
I'm not gonna give it a rate thats how much I hate them
Extremely late all the time. When I brought it up to them they said for me to deal with it. Unprofessional, I'd avoid this business like the plague.
5.5 years spent on the Sugar Creek/Mallard Creek Rd. connector, with several weeks-long gaps where no workers were present at all. Installation of medians, followed by tearing those medians out the following week. I understand that mistakes occur, and that delays are inevitable on a project that size, but I doubt that a similar project in a more affluent area would be allowed to be handled as poorly as this one.
Unprofessional, rude, very poor hiring criteria, and an immense lack of work ethic. So far on the Paraham road project in York SC all they have done is tear up the ground, spray grass seed, and then tear it back up the next day!
Their flaggers have no training or certification and sit in what remains of the grass not even bothering to hold the signs up properly regardless of how busy the road is.
I have personally almost been involed in a head on collison because they decided to let both sides through on a one lane road set up.
Blythe Development are not really the company I would want in my neighborhoods. They tear up stuff and blame someone else and refuse to own up to anything
