A great place to enjoy some oysters in front of great live music on sunday evenings.

Fish n Shrimp combo was the best I've had. Service was great also.

Great music by the water. The view by the water is fabulous. Food was decently priced and the food was good. Definitely would come again.

My first time there and it was great...had the bluegill platter (fried) it was really good..will be returning. Our waitress was very attentive.

We tried the specials. They were great. The service with Victoria was amazing. They have great side selections! A place we would definitely visit again.

A very good place for local fresh caught food. I had gumbo for the first time here, and it was just spectacular. I also had turnip greens for the first time too, and absolutely will have again.

This place has been a mainstay with me since my children were small 20 years ago. The offer new and upcoming music, mixed with old tried but true. The food is always incredible, with my favorite being the crabmeat omelet...scumptious!

The flaming oysters were on point as advertised. But the fried green tomatoes covered in crawfish tail sauce stole the show for me. I almost went back the next day. I will return in the future.

We had a big party so I understand the food taking a but long to come but we asked for appetizers and they came at the same time as the meal and the check came with dessert so it made us feal rushed. Staff was nice but maybe the holiday season made them feel less attentive.

As a person that knew the Bluegill befor the New management took over, The entertainment is always good , the oysters were Devine. The daily menu is a ghost of what it was.

The fire grilled oysters were so good we ordered another dozen! Samantha was awesome.

Service was good, food was excellent. We had the red drum which was very tasty. Almost forgot the live music...added an extra of special on This Saturday night outing. This is a family style restaurant that's very down to earth.

Usually great local music outside on the deck. Like most of the other restaurants on the Causeway you have to try the Flaming Oysters.

Awesome place. We left Felix's and came here. What an awesome decision. Today is my birthday and our waitress had the band sing Happy birthday to me. Even the people dining near us was kind. I had an awesome conversation with a couple who was celebrating there anniversary. Great food and awesome atmosphere.

I've always loved the Blue Gill and it didn't disappoint!

Cassie was our server. She was sweet and kind. This place is a must if your in vacation or looking for an amazing meal. Our waitress went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. If you go ask for Cassie !!!!!!!!!

The food was superb, and the staff outstanding. Enjoyed it immensely.

1 hour 15 minutes to be seated. 30 minutes later we had drinks and an app but, waitress had still not taken our order. Never again.

The food experience is always consistently good, & the prices for lunch and dinner are priced fairly. Last but not least, the service is always on point.

What an amazing place my first visit and the staff was on point from the drinks appetizers down to the delicious entree's! I'm already planning my next visit.

We were really looking forward to eating here. It started out well only a 30 min wait. We sat outside in the waiting area after 55 minutes we began to wonder what happened. My husband went up front to check our name...they said we weren t on the list. Odd because Ali took our phone number and read it back. So ok great they quickly sat us at a table. Waitress was nice and got our food quickly. We were expecting music but no one was playing.. the food we chose was just mediocre my $10 salad didn t have egg or the cheese as described. My sons both ordered shrimp poboy and not a drop of dressing or sauce just a plain old bread sandwich with lettuce tomato and fried shrimp. My husband s had the crabby patty small but good. We overheard the other couple who was sitting outside waiting saying she checked and they weren t on the list either and they too were quickly seated at a table.
So after $50 and not so great service or food we are disappointed because we had heard so many great things about this place. They do have a fabulous outdoor patio.

We ordered the fried green tomatoes. They were Awesome. The flaming oysters were the best we've ever had anywhere. The redneck taco's were fantastic
. What made our visit so special was our server Anna Kate. She is so sweet and was on spot on everything she suggested. She is an asset to this company! She even told us Roll Tide!!

Was told there was a 30min wait, waited 45min and decided to give up. Told the barista to please remove me from the list and she shrugged, said ok and went back to talking with her friends. Don't like places that don't care about customers just because they're busy most of the time...

Live band was great, overcrowded no seats, too many opened drinks to be served with others standing over them, including myself,as I waited over 10min to clear my tab I almost knocked over a bottle.

They had really good oysters and crab claws. They had an awesome band playing too, the band even sang happy birthday to my aunt.

Compared to other places on the causeway this one is my favorite. Prices are great, food is awesome. My favorite is their oysters. Decor is witty and fun! Also service is excellent! Definitely recommend it! Come out with your family, they have food not for just seafood lover.

Very good food. The seared ahi tuna was awesome and crab corn soup was delicious.

There were full house last Friday but it didn't slow down the service. Food came out promptly. Live music. Staffs were friendly.

The wait staff was extremely inattentive, and the size of the meals are way too small. I paid $19 for a blue gill platter something, and I got like 6 little shrimp, I super slim slice of fish and 8 fries oysters. Not to mention this platter only included one side. No soup. No salad. The alcoholic beverages were too sweet and tasted like they contain no alcohol at all and and the bathroom mirrors were almost all broken. I spent $60 for me and my children to have a nice dinner and we all left still hungry and annoyed.

Nice restaurant on the Mobile Causeway that also offers live music. Great oysters also!

Gabriel is an amazing server! He is very charismatic and professional. He is a strong asset to the restaurant.

Although my picture make the food look good, it was definitely okay. I have no plans on returning soon or bringing my out of town relatives here on a visit. The staff (except for the live band) messed up the vibe and it's too dark in the restaurant. No thank you.
