Village is great. Lots of food options all are good. Nightlife is good as well!
Village is great. Lots of food options all are good. Nightlife is good as well!
Very beautiful place to go! Beautiful nature. The little town looks like in the movie. You feel like you are somewhere in Europe. There is a lot of activity to do. You won't be bored. Highly recommend. Hope to come back more
Lots of crowds, but it's about the largest hill within easy driving distance of Toronto. Some very nice runs. They've really developed the village recently too.
Beautiful resort! Friendly staff, nice village, and good runs. The only thing bad I'd say is that they spray a lot of snow on Fridays, and so the conditions aren't ideal. I even wiped out and had to go to the hospital because of the immense amount of snow sprayed, so just be aware of that
Having skied the alps in Europe i can say Blue mountain is great for learning before going anywhere huge. The black runs though not long give you a taste of what to expect at larger resort's. I would ignore negative comments about price, everywhere I've skied the same people who complain about costs gladly spend $50 in a bar at night. Anyway Blue mountain is a great provision, I'm only a couple of hours away always come once or twice every winter.
Went to the Blue Mountain Village to visit the new Northwinds Brew Pub location. Beautiful facility with a great selection of beer and food.
Nice area, very busy for parking. Beautiful at night in the village. Would love to stay overnight someday.
Beautiful area. Lots of things to do. Great food and drinks
Came up with my co workers, had a great time.. can't wait to come back next year
Loved the food! The employee were very helpful and very Nice! Going back in a few weeks!!
Great place. Is always busy. Make sure you come early as 6:30 am to get tickets to Segway Tour(18 plus) and other rides. There are good hotels nearby. I went in the summer. It s fun hiking and tree top trekking is fun.
Great location and set up. Rooms need a face lift however.
Great place to take the family for a vacation with activities year round.
Great shopping and restaurants , lots of things to see and doo, great light show at Christmas time and good skiing also . The heated pool is great in the depth of winter , lots of souvenirs and sheets as well. Great place to visit or stay for a vacation .
We took the beginners package. Good learning and fun.
Beautiful hotel, great summer ammenities and a relaxed environment. We go every year! Kitchen rooms are a must. Bathtubs are very spacious.
By far one of my favourite get-away places in Ontario. Great village, lots of dining and shopping options. There is something to do here any time of year. I've stayed at both the Westin Trillium house as well as the Blue Mountain resort and both times I felt welcomed.
During the summer I suggest biking, hiking, peddle boats or the mountain roller coaster.
Winter, hot tubs, skiing, snowboarding, ice skating on the pond, hot chocolate, and fireplaces!
Prices can be a bit on the steeper end due to the fact that it is a ski resort, but well worth every penny spent.
A place I would not miss out on.
Went for the bike park, stayed for everything. This place is amazing especially the downhill bike trails. If your deciding between the crosscountry and downhill, go downhill for sure.
Not worth what you pay for especially the huge mark up over March break. Not as family oriented as you would expect
We did a late check in and waited a little to long, once we got our room and heading for dinner we had an amazing meal at firehall. Our day on the rides was fantastic. Everyone is very helpful.
Friendly service, close to amenities, pool and hot tub available. Right at the base of the hill!
Over booked and too many staff doing insufficient work in the holiday season. My room was not ready so I had to waite almost 3 hr. Considering how expensive it is, service should get way better
Hiking & lots of fun for the families & the Adventurous types !!!
Not too crowded as the season just began. Snow shoeing was fun at the caves...ski slopes not perfect yet but not bad either..if you are going for tubing, Barrie snow valley is a better option. Snow tubing is supposed to open next weekend.
Super fun and super busy!! Lots of stuff to do that isnt necessarily skiing or snowboarding!
Pretty much one of the few decent places to go skiing / snowboarding in southern Ontario. Unfortunately the weekend I went the southern comfort lift was down so it was not as enjoyable going from one side of the mountain to the other, but there is a shuttle bus to help.
It offers best services for skiing. Probably some more knowledge for the first time people would be helpful
Really nice place and u can have a lot fun...just a bit expensive for food
Nice location but many issues with the room! Toaster and toilet did not work on arrival, room was stale! Bed not very comfortable
Nice view but the restaurants food quality aren't good enough..
World class resort, alive with music, events and activities for the whole family. Excellent amenities and accommodations.
Great place for a walk.
Only thing due to COVID its and there current restrictions on ride Its basically impossible to get passes for kids.
Always a great time hitting the slopes and spending some time in the Village for food and drinks!
It's very cold ... Don't forget to strap up your jackets .. but you would really enjoy the nature feel with the village , market around it ...don't miss it .. it's one time life seeing experience ... If you are adventurous .. this is the right place to visit ...
Cute place, but quite costly. Thought there would be more to do.
Amazing place...roller coaster ride around the mountain is highly recommended
Best place to ski in southern Ontario, good mix of terrain from glades to easy hills.
Great family fun. I went during a peak time so I experienced a lot of waiting for the ski rental apart from that great.
Awesome place, area is like a valley, nice weather, games, restaurants,, lot of fun
Treat people like garbage and costs way too much for a lift ticket. New ownership has ruined this place.
I have a 5x7 pass so i dont have to line up to.get tickets. Only 16 runs were open that day. Good trails and friendly lifties. Food is kinda pricey but you know that going in. Theatre pricing. Great public resort. Best in ontario if you ask me.
Loved the shops and restaurants. Great dining and shopping experience. Make sure to save room for a beaver tail.
Stayed at the Westin Resort . Was our first time going there . Was a birthday present for my boyfriend. Its a beautiful place. Must go at least once and experience it. We lucked out and went there during a time when its not busy and I loved that. Ive heard its chaotic , long lines for everything etc when its busy but was smooth sailing in April. Bit on the pricey side. Loves the outdoor heated pools.. Water is hoooot! Rooms come with bathrobes which was convenient. Loved the rooms. Clean updated , loves the bathroom too lol.. Nothing bad i can say about this place besides the high prices on just about everything there ...
Loved it. Convenient location, closw to the spa and village and great to travel amd explore blue mountain. Food was however mediocre (make sure you read the yelp reviews to avoid a disaster), but some were great!
skiing experience was good but to get tickets and equipments was tedious and lengthy process it could be short and one stop for all
It's a very popular destination for various activities. There's just so many things to do! Parking can be difficult especially during peak times so don't forget to pack a ton of patience. There are also lots of food choices with price points from average to moderately expensive.
Blue Mountain is my getaway from the city without going too far. I can spend most of a day on the slopes - the cozy structures and amenities make it easy to take a break for a call or to catch up on emails. Despite COVID-19 I feel comfortable that they will maintain and enforce a safe environment for the 20/21 winter season.
Nice but expensive lunch for for is easily going to set you back $150 +
The best skiing in Ontario. The hills are not very high
Shitiest time ever do not rent here better to get a BnB and travel up for the dayif u want to ski
Blue is my go to resort here in Southern Ontario. Longest runs in Ontario and the most lifts and trails. Although prices have gone up over the years, they continue to expand and improve the overall customer experience. You can still get amazing deals, for example Coca-Cola Mondays!
It was my first time at the resort, and I loved the attention you receive for their staff in general.
Everyone is very welcoming, and the measurements they are taking because of COVID19 are much appreciated.
I wish more summer attractions were open.
Coming back for Winter
Nice Trainers. I liked the system where you automatically get a free training session for the beginners and the trainers were good and helpful on various spots.
John taught me some really useful tips as a person that constantly falls and Nikita too was a very good coach
Nice ski runs and landscape, but the price is pretty expensive. The worse part was that someone took my skis and poles while I was eating dinner at South Lodge. So I went to the guest service/lost and found office of Grand Central Lodge to record my information. There the security guard, with a booklet full of information about the owner of those stolen skis and snowboards, said sorry to me and told me to lock up my equipment (though no one did) next time. It wasn't a good experience and I think Blue Mountain should have done more to protect their customers' property.
Best place to visit for honeymoon and good place to visit with kids.
Very clean! Cozy living room. It had everything we needed. Beds were so comfortable
Stayed at the Mosaic for four days for honeymoon, after mentioning that it was our honeymoon they made it very special for us!!! (After booking we called to let them know and we also mentioned it at the front desk on check in) they gave us a free wifi code, free underground parking and the next day left decorative towel arrangements, a bottle of wine, and chocolates!!! :) Beautiful place to stay, we highly recommend staying here because of the pool and hot tub, it's an amazing experience!!!!
Amazing place, its in Ontario and you can basically expect features from what you would find on mountain.
The staff is very friendly and gave great directions to the attractions we asked about (e.g. Scenic Caves). Everything is within walking distance and easy accessible.
Everything is very expensive. To go onto the beach it was 40$. All of the activities cost a lot of money, so I would recommend getting the day pass. Most of the staff could've been nicer, but that's understandable when you're working with children and angry parents because they're kids are to short to go on the roller coaster (yes this actually happened). Overall though, the food was great, lots of places to get drinks. The activities are lots of fun if you can ignore the price tag. Great weekend family vacation.
First time oming here and im sure not going to be the last
We stayed at the Westin at Blue Mountain and it is a fantastic hotel, great amenities and friendly staff. The town itself is very nice but quite expensive. Mountain coaster is the best thing there, so much fun
Staff are great! Hills are great! Lifts are fast even when it's busy.. all I ask are for more healthy options at the cafeteria
Cheap lift tickets and a variety of slopes with cool terrain that you get to ski through.
Good customer service but very busy and not the greatest conditions, just the time of year, would highly recommend!
As a mountain biker, I was impressed by the lightning fast lift lines and plethora of advanced trails. The only issue was the over-the-top safety policy which saw those under 18 being forced into a suit of armour that would put Iron Man to shame. The area at the top of the lift was also subject to heavy tourist traffic, which took away from the "bike park" feel. The park is most tech riding with rocks and roots with one very good flow trail "H2O". If you are in the area and you enjoy mountain biking, I would reccommend this experince.
Was at the turkey sale. Not as big as usual. Most of the staff at it did have a better than average knowledge of skiing and snow boarding.
Really nice and good for a couple but really expensive
The shopping/restaurant area is just wonderful. So much to do and, obviously, fantastic skiing!
A great resort experience. The village is incredible. Hill gets crowded fast toward the late morning and into the afternoon on weekends.
Fun and safe for families. Good variety of beginner hills and very solid intermediate runs. O&B my favorite place to eat after skiing and outdoors at the food trucks at The Orchards Ski Lift.
The rooms here have basically a full kitchen to use which you'll need because there's no room service. We stayed here after our wedding because I was pregnant and didn't want to travel outside the country. They don't offer you any perks for honeymoon stay and weirdly they don't have a maid come in to clean the rooms daily. Other than that the location is right on Blue Mountain, there is a pretty good pool, and hot tub. Theres also spa services that you can pay extra for.
I enjoyed a family gathering here (dinner in one of the special event rooms) and the staff were great at accommodating special dietary needs and very accepting of our horde of nieces and nephews. On the downside, our event coincided with a craft fair. It was almost impossible to find a parking space. I was fortunate to find one about a 10 minute walk from our gathering place.
Nice place with good looking hills. Didn't ski though. Did some other activities and the snow showing was a bit of a let down with a rather short trail. Rental staff were a bit clueless.
Great place to ski snowboard if you need to scratch the bug. However a little on the pricey side for a just a big hill. But lots of runs. Sometimes really crowded.
Shin sizzles! Whoop whoop! They even have plastic snow! Dont wear hot skis!
It is top class ski place with beautiful views and many places to eat and stay. In the winter it is winter wonderland in summer there are Scenic Caves Adventure nearby and treks. Treat to come here and enjoy the beautiful surroundings
It is always a pleasure to visit blue mountain for personal and corporate events and getaways. The Northwinds and O and B restaurants are our goto spots in both the summer and winter seasons. O and B and trillium hotel have a special place in our hearts as we got engaged there and the staff was so wonderful and helpful in setting the mood and space for the proposal. I highly recommend blue mountain to all local Ontario residents and visitors. It part of what makes Ontario special.
This place is awesome. Great activities for all year round.
Skiing on April 22nd, 2018! Incredible spring skiing conditions. No ice, no brown spots....15C and Sunny! Village chair and graduate were open and never too busy, round trip 7mins. Runs were not too crowded but still necessary to check that blindspot now and again
