Just wonderful food. Great drinks! Lovely place to go for girlfriend lunch. Portions for some items are small but waitress let's you know so you are not surprised by your order!

The ingredients here were as fresh as could be and the menu offered a wide assortment of interesting dishes. I really enjoyed my appetizer of asparagus. It was cooked nicely with some cheese and egg on top and was a great start to the meal. The vegetable risotto (entree) was also great. We had the creme brulee for dessert and all I can say is that I can't wait to come back. The drink menu was also interesting, and many of the ingredients like the syrups and infusions are home made. This place was pretty impressive all around. There were a number of gluten free and vegan options available for those that need them.

Good food! Bloodys were pricey at $10 for titos. Service was awful at first as 3 waitresses and the host walked by me numerous times and said nothing. But the bartender ended up being good.

It's a farm to table place, so they have rotating menu. But it was really expensive for the quality of the food. The service was fantastic though!

Went here this past year for a celebration dinner with my boyfriend. It was lovely, especially the hostess I believe her name was Melissa. I recommend this for a special night out, the atmosphere and food are top quality.

Not my cup of tea. Not sure why this place is so popular. The food is average at best, especially at their price point. Food was lacking in flavor and cohesiveness. The service was great and the ambiance was a little loud but fun. Better place to eat near by.

This is THE place to lunch in Exeter! Every season brings new culinary delights. Calling it Farm-to-Table doesn t even begin to capture the amazing combinations of herbs, fresh veggies and artisanal hot dishes available for lunch and dinner. In hot weather be brave and try the chilled soup: asparagus was on the menu recently! Wow! Delicately seasoned fresh asparagus in just the right chilled soup consistency with a dash of truffle oil. The vegan and vegetarian options are wonderful as are the carnivorous offerings! Just steps from the whole downtown shopping scene!

I was shocked to find such an awesome restaurant in Exeter NH! We ate dinner here. We were told that lunch is very different, more casual and a totally different menu. The menu is small and changes based on what is in season. I like this and is a sign of a good restaurant.

Dinner was fabulous. Ask for Tim as your server. He made the experience for us. His recommendations were spot on. We started with cocktails. They were perfect. Great tasting and not weak.

For appetizers we had the Norri Roll. I recommend you get one. We also had a cheese board and raw board. The raw board was better than I expected. You get some raw vegetables, but it's served with a sunflower seed spread, sun dried tomato crackers & pickled onions.

For Dinner I asked Tim if I should get the pork or brisket which was a special. He told me I had to go with the brisket... Wow was he right! Too bad it was a special.



This place is SOLID! Great chef. Not a cheap date night, but you won't be disappointed.

it was the first time Ken and I visited this restaurant and our friends who live in Exeter made a reservation. it was great service, great dinner, beer and desserts! We were all stuffed!

I consider myself fortunate to have stumbled across this place while visiting from out of town for meetings. I'm not sure what I love more, the outgoing personnel, exceptionally creative drink and food menu or the atmosphere. I can't wait to come back.

Blue Moon Evolution is a locally sourced, farm to table resturaunt. Whenever I eat here, I always feel so content and humble. The dinner is an experience that's great for special events/dates. Lunch is awesome too, amazing soups and sandwiches and the best salad bar on the East Coast. I've never been disappointed.

Incredibly diverse and ever changing selection of the finest local, organic, farm-to-table fare you'll find in the area. With impeccable service, splendid preparation and cocktails that are above top shelf quality, put this one on your list of "must try" destinations. As a lifetime NH resident, I can't believe it's taken me this long to find such a jewel. Foodies take note!

Always one of my stops while traveling in NH. Great bar staff helps with menu selection. Not "run of the mill" menu. Very eclectic selection.

Sit in the bar section. The bartenders are great. The menu is constantly changing, so you never know what they will have. The food is great and good atmosphere. It's a bit pricey, otherwise I'd give them 5 stars.

This is a true gem! I was staying up in the Dover area and was looking around for a place to get dinner. I was not in the mood for the busyness of Portsmouth and stumbled upon Blue Moon on Yelp... I am SO glad I did! I truly can't not find the words to describe how amazing my meal was! First, I was greeted by a wonderful, smiling gentlemen who just set the tone to my wonderful evening! The atmosphere of the place is just perfect - dimly lit, great music, and a homey feel. My waitress, Devon, was a doll! I started off with Tee Time and the appetizer special - roasted turnips with apples and honey... You bet I soaked all of that delicious sauce with my gluten free bread :) Next was my main course - the curry rubbed flank steak with fingerling potatoes, collard greens and a roasted tomato compound butter... Literally with each bite I had to stop and savor how delicious it was! My steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare, I really didn't even need to use a knife to cut it. That compound butter I could slather on everything! No words!! Of course I had to finish off the meal with dessert... that flourless chocolate cake, with berry ice cream - I'll take a dozen please! My first bite into that and the deal was sealed - I will travel back to NH JUST to eat here again! I was so impressed with everything! All of the staff was fabulous! Seriously the best meal I've had in years!!

The service is just wonderful here. Waitstaff is friendly and attentive, knowledgeable of menu items. I love their use of locally sourced ingredients and unique twists on menu offerings. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. Access is easy for those who may have walking challenges or other disabilities.

Had a reservation for 6:45. Arrived and was told our table was not ready and were seated at the bar to wait. Sat at the bar for 15 minutes trying to order a drink and the bartender didn t even give us a look. Then we re seated at our table where we waited another 15 mins before being offered a drink. Service was atrocious. The man who filled up the water was more attentive than our waitress. Food was decent, however I was expecting to be wowed for the price of the meal. I was not... food was slightly above par.

Blue Moon has consistently wonderful, local food and a charming ambience. Our server was patient, attentive and very friendly. I finally had one of the mixologists special and was glad I did. The vegetarian risotto was sublime. Make sure you call ahead on weekends.

This is an excellent place to eat. We came hear for our anniversary dinner. It is a bit on the expense side for the portion a size, but the quality is outstanding and the staff are very attentive.

Great menu with natural locally sourced homemade food. The service was absolutely perfect from the host stand through the server and busers. Everyone I spoke to was geniune and really cared about the place. Cocktails were creative, well executed, and tasty. Try a tasting flight of local mead with dessert! So cool. Local cheeses with great accoutrements, hand cut pastas, homemade all natural smoked meats, locally foraged roasted mushrooms... I could go on and on. Very impressed with the entire experience. Well worth a drive and a visit!

If you're the type of person who would rather eat a healthy lunch at home than eat fast food, then this is just the place for you. We enjoyed a soup/salad/sandwich combo that was as fresh and savory as something we'd fix ourselves. Pleasant decor, quiet and comfortable.

So many things in the menu with red peppers... The one thing I chose (with no description on the menu of red peppers), guess what? Full of red peppers. Bummer of a menu and outcome this evening.

Food and drinks here are always excellent, took my Aunt and she loved it. Only complaint is the only water they serve is Exeter tap water which they said was filtered but tasted horrible. And as former Exeter resident and cancer patient I do not want to drink their water. Pellegrino was offered but didn't want carbonated so I drank the gross tap water. Only reason they don't get 5 stars

Paid over $30 for a steak that tasted like A1 sauce. Way to ruin a great cut of meat. Music and service were great, too bad about the food.

The ambiance projected is not the food quality delivered. If you want a truly great piece of meat then go visit Tuckaway Tavern...

Great menu. I got the vegetable nori roll and Tutu Noodle bowl with tofu. It was fantastic! Wife got the deviled eggs and Caesar salad with chicken. Lots of delicious vegetarian and vegan options. Burgers look fantastic. Will definitely be back.

Exquisite! This was my second visit to Blue Moon after it underwent its Evolution (market to restaurant). I love it. The food isn't just local, but intricately local. The chefs know the farmer. That dynamic is unlike so many other "local" eateries. Beautiful decor, comfortable bar area and tables. I was blown away. This place is awesome and definitely needed as Exeter looks for fun, fine dining.

The menu is extremely pretentious and yet the chef is overly ambitious. The food is over seasoned, salty and drenched. The meat cuts are sub par. My ribeye tasted more like a cheap piece of steak for $34. The staff is too attentive, you can't take a sip of water without 3 servers refilling your glass. Had the server not been so sweet, I would have sent back both our meals. I guess there isn't enough competition in the area, otherwise I can't imagine how the ratings are so high.

Amazing! My fiancee and I dined here on a Saturday night. The reservations were running on time. For an appetizer we got the deviled eggs. They were absolutely delicious. For our main meals I got fish he got the steak. AMAZING! Their specialty cocktails are like no other. We even ordered dessert. The creme brulee was a nice way to finish the evening. Love the environment. The staff was attentive. I absolutely highly recommend this place for its impeccable food and service.
