We have been with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield most of my career. Folks!! I will say, if you have a choice, do not use this company. This company is only good at 2 things. Collecting premiums and sending out statements of what they refuse to cover. I was very surprised to find out that cancer screenings such as colonoscopies were not covered. My wife scheduled a colon screening. I called this company to ask what the out of pocket expense would be. They told me it was covered. Well guess what. We paid for it. It wasn t covered. This company has been nothing but a hassle. We switched insurance companies quite a few years ago to a company called Healthsource and they were great. Then we couldn t get them anymore. Anthem probably bullied them out of our company. Now we re stuck with these clowns again. Again- If you have a choice, this company is not a good one. I would give a zero star rating if it was an option.

Customer service is abysmal. You are not speaking with people in the US when you call customer service. I had a hard time communicating with them. I also cancelled my plan and deleted my credit card from their portal and somehow they reinstated my plan and charged the credit card without authorization. I have since switched to Harvard Pilgrim and the customer service reps are very helpful and employed in the USA. Further, the plan was absolute garbage.

well I got to tell you I've had anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield for a few years. I haven't had really any trouble for say they pay my doctor bills they pay for x-rays MRI also they paid for a cat-scan all in one year I can't really say anything. RM

Nothing is covered. You max out your deductibles and they find more ways to charge you. You would not believe what I've paid in insurance this year as a single person. Has to be the worst insurance I've ever had.

HORRIBLE service! My aunt passed away, automatic payment went through. I notified them of the issue. It's now going on 2 months and no reimbursement. Account is withdrawn and they are still saying it will be 10 - 14 days. Which is what i was told almost 2 months ago

terrible customer services!
I been calling for about an hour trying a new medical card but cant even do that.. they keep asking for my medical card number but how am i supposed know that when i dont have the damn card im calling for!!

Worst insurance company I ve ever had! I pay out the a** for this insurance and they deny every claim! I don t recommend this company to anyone. And good luck getting in touch with customer service.
