Place is a little expensive but worth it, had a few drinks with some ceviche, did the trick for me to enjoy myself. The staff seem to be on top of everything, I couldn't catch any one of them chilling, they was all on thier toes the whole time. Excellent service as expected.
Ok food, changed their menu. Service was ok not the best. Drinks are good! Blackberry lemon drop was excellent. You do have to beg for extra Blackberries!
Alexia was such a lovely server. So friendly and welcoming. Inside is spaced seating and we were set by the fireplace, the best seat in the house. Good was delicious and perfectly cooked. I'll definitely be back. We had the roast chicken and the pork chop. Both fantastic choices.
This happened once , and usually this place is top.
Suggestion to manager: lower your capacity, you're not equipped to handle that many people without sacrificing quality. Your waiters looks overworked and make mistakes in a rush.
Avoid when busy, especially for a date night.
Music is too loud to hear a person at the same table.
Stood in line for half an hour, decided to check a place next to it, other people took out spot in line, so waited again at the end of the line. (Why not do some sms alert when tables ready, like any other place?)
After getting to the front, some man got in front , and the lady asked who was first while seeing us stand there for 40+ minutes.
Got seated at a bad spot, with plastic cover touching the back of my head , right next to a door with electrical wires hanging of the wall over the table (not a romantic feel for a date).
Had to ask to be reseated.
Waiters are rushing and making order mistakes (poor waiters, probably seasonal hires)
Tried ordering our usual crab Mac n cheese with pizza. They were out of crab, so we skipped on crab and got Mac n cheese without crab. Any beer I'd ask they wouldn't have it, so I just settled with a Stella beer. And a cocktail.
Took way to long to bring drinks out. The beer was brought after food. they brought other people drinks who ordered after us first.
The mezcal cocktail, wasnt good , it tasted like a Truly , straight alcohol and flavors.
Disclaimer: they make excellent cocktails and is the reason I went there, but not when it's busy.
The food tasted horrible, Mac n cheese was plain and tasted like sand . The pizza was bad too, it was undercooked , and looked like a five year old tossed a Safeway bag of basil on top. I was really hungry and didn't eat all day . But I couldn't have more than one bite of that as it tasted like raw flour with basil on top.
I ended up not eating, just chugged the alcohol to not think about this .
While eating another waiter comes up and bring a burger , which we didn't order . A different waiter comes over , we explain to him that we didn't order that.
I showed the pizza to the waiter, he apologized and brought the check (without asking if we wanted one, international sign for please leave)
Well we ate outside along with the gazillion other people there was not a separation of a table between us. I have a salmon sandwich it would be good if they didn't use the bread they used. My fries were cold.
I'm sure this was a cool place yesteryear. I guess if you're looking for covid and cold fries I would highly recommend this place.
It just needs to change ownership. Best location for a lake front dining experience. Flavorless food, the same slow service for years. We go in once a year just to see a change. Never do.
Nice view and nice staff but the food was average, the orders were wrong, steak was under cooked sent it back to the kitchen and it came back to the table over cooked. On top of that insufficient staffing with an almost 2 hour wait for the food. I should of went to 13 Coins instead where the flavors and the quality of the meal is consistent.
Outdoor patio was really nice, not crowded, and warm (by the fire ).
Service was pretty good. No complaints.
But...The salmon was cooked to perfection and just melted in my mouth. And my beer is still half
Went here for Easter brunch. Food and drinks was good. Price was decent. Great outdoor seating. It was a bit crowded, but just glad we could easily make a reservation at the last minute. Service was good, even though they were extremely busy.
My family and I have been here more times than I can count, even during the pandemic. They have amazing outdoor seating with plenty of heater. We had the great pleasure of being served by Jose. Jose was so accommodating, patient, and kind with my family (who are not the easiest to work with). This restaurant and staff are amazing and very worth visiting and the price!
