I walked in at 8 pm tonight, being Good Friday, unaware they shut at 8pm. I was greeted by an abrupt "We're closed" from the girl behind the counter who was handing a couple their DVD. When I queried why they were being served, she stated that they had arrived before 8pm... I said OK. My 20 mth old daughter had meanwhile run to the back of the store where the new releases are, so I started walking over to grab her and the girl literally shouted at me. "NOW SIR, WE ARE CLOSED NOW". I said "Im going to get my kid. Don't speak to me like that." Once I'd picked up my daughter I asked the girl her name, which she said was Charlie... then I walked out. Charlie should be sacked.
So I went off to the Hoyts DVD machine up the road. at least you get good service from those!
This was the best video shop in the history of the universe. I'll miss it
