I'm from New York, the bagel mecca, and im very picky. But everything here is authentically crafted.. delicious and beyond reasonably priced. Finally found a good bagel place after moving here.

WARNING GO TO THIS RESTUARANT IF YOU ENJOY THE FOLLOWING:

Slow Service
Overpriced mediocre food
Workers with attitudes
Dated decor
Last but not least a RUDE OWNER

I have never be treated so poorly. We encountered a rude worker notified the OWNER and he became frustrated and asked us to leave because we were retuning a sandwich that the incomptent staff messed up! What a joke.

Seriously if you are looking for POOR SERVICE with a RUDE owner then visit Blocks deli.

Block's has the best bagel sandwiches and cream cheese spreads! I drive 20 mins away just to go there. I also order a bag of fresh bagels to take home. They don't keep long, but that's just because they're not filled with preservatives. SO YUMMY.

It's awesome. So what if the service or decor leave something to be desired. The bagels are easily the best in columbus.

Service couldn't be more underwhelming or inefficient. Two very elderly people with their bagels and coffee order that had been prepared and handed to them had to stand behind us and wait and wait and wait while our sandwich order was prepared and checked out. They easily stood there for 10 minutes as their coffee got cold. Place is filthy dirty. Lots of empty tables but none had been wiped down. After an employee watched me look all over for a semi clean table, he went out and started cleaning table tops only to be told by another worker "you don't have to do that -- that's not part of your job". Manager stood there talking in the dining area the entire time and didn't lift a finger to help move the line or clean any tables. They locked us in for closing and then were rude about having to let us out. If the kitchen is half as dirty as the dining room, the health department needs to have a closer look. No excuse for this kind of service or attitude.

I went to your deli about 1:00 pm Sunday, May 18. I had to ask to be waited on while your staff stood around ignoring me in line. There was no one ahead of me. I ordered two hot dog meals to go and a dozen bagels. It took forever for them to make my hotdogs, as they were laughing and laughing and talking. I will admit, they were good hot dogs.

I ordered a dozen sunflower bagels. When I got home hours later and looked in my bag, they gave me a dozen sundried tomato bagels!! I specifically went there for sunflower bagels!!!

I am very disappointed.

Bagels are the best around. They have the only cream cheese that I dont mind a mountain of on my bagel. Bluberry bagel with their strawberry cream cheese is pretty awesome. Tuna salad is also great on rye not to mention countless other items on the menu.

I can't believe what just happened! If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I will NEVER visit this establishment again! I don't eat mayo; so before ordering the tuna I inquired if I could get it without mayo. I was quickly advised that the tuna was pre-made and couldn't come without mayo. Fine. No big deal. So then I see another menu option and wanted to know if the bread could be substituted for a bagel. Kim (the worker) then started to name the bagel options clearly with an attitude. So, we ask her if she is okay. It was clear she must be having a bad day. She then points at my girlfriend and says I encountered you. Not sure if she got us mixed up....it was completely random. So we quickly go over to speak to the owner and it was clear he could care less. The icing on the cake is when we finally got what we ordered the sandwich had MAYO on it. We clearly asked for no Mayo. So we take the sandwich back and the OWNER is upset we are returning the sandwich. He asks me how much is the sandwich. I didn't know. He yells how can I give you your money back if you don't know how much the sandwich is. Shouldn't he know how much the sandwich is??? He immediately says get out! Get out! Don't come back. Why??? The bagels are great but after being treated like ANIMALS we will never be back! The owner of this establishment should be ashamed!
