Very nice little coffee shop with a good mix of tables and chairs and some comfy couches. Good outlet access for laptops and other devices, and speedy internet, also. Very friendly baristas behind the counter. This is my first time here, and I'm enjoying the iced coffee, but it's rather weak for my taste, as I enjoy a darker/bolder roast. 4/5 stars.

Great local coffee house. The atmosphere is relaxed and if you want something unique just talk to the barista. Small and tasty menu of food to accompany your beverage. My go to before or after shopping, or just because.

I love independent coffee houses such as this where they still appreciate the art of a good cup of coffee. Good quality cappuccino served on ceramic wide cups make a huge difference.

I ve lived in Old Town Scottsdale for 3 years and tried ALLLLL the other places. This place is THE BEST! Their espresso is so much smoother and nicer it s well rounded and not acidic. Also they have the absolute best blended drinks around and they don t taste like you re drinking pure sugar. I m very sensitive to caffeine and sugar but I can have these and not have a problem! That s says something! Delicious!

I was In for a cup of Joe and had a great blueberry muffin. The Barista was very courteous and helpful. I am new to the neiborhood and I believe in supporting Arizona locally owned businesses and hope others will come to this comfortable coffee house and make choose this place to hang with friends, make new friends or just hang alone for some comfortable alone time. Try the Black Cat Coffee House and support independently local business!!

I have been here so many times and it's just great!
The customer service is top notch, the few times I did have to wait I was still greeted and everyone was so pleasant.
The coffee is yummy too.. Have had the BCat Bomb - this peanut butter blending thing that is so good. and the Atomic Lotis Blossom - has Red Bull in it. Enough said right?!
A really hidden gem - have told several people about this place and will keep doing so.

They have great customer service and coffee. I ordered a vanilla latte and a sandwich. Both were great! I love that they use local bakeries in Phoenix for their pastries and muffins! Highly recommend

Went with a couple of friends, waiting for a very long time for our breakfast sandwiches. Server was the only one there and continued to ignore us by serving other customers after us and completely forgot to finish the rest of our order. So after waiting a half an hour and running late for work, we canceled our order and left. Never coming here again.

I'm a fan of coffee and local businesses, and Black Cat does well under both categories. Very casual, fun little shop in Phoenix, they have locally roasted beans, and a ton of flavored teas and syrups to make whatever you want.

Also serving breakfast and lunch options, if you're near 48th St and Indian School. swing in and give this place a try.

This is my very favorite spot for a big, and they have a BIG 32oz, iced Americano with cream. I wish this place was closer to home or on my way to work because I would be here daily for my fix. It is on the bike trail along the Arizona Canal and about 5 miles from my house on that route so that is a fun and worthwhile ride. The coffee is exquisite and the Danish are fresh and tasty. The kids love coming along for a smoothie.

Was good until new ownership took over at the beginning of June. Hope things get better, because it's gone down hill a bit. Hot chocolate doesn't quite taste the same,and they no longer serve lemon bars.

Cute little place that has sofas and tables for hanging out. Strong and tasty coffee!

Great coffee, terrible safety protocols in violation of city mandates. I ordered an iced honey lavender latte, which was excellent. However, after I had placed my order with the female cashier (who was wearing a mask), I saw several other customers walk in and order without masks, and then noticed further that the male employee who was making my coffee wasn't wearing a mask. Won't be back in the era of COVID, which is too bad, as the coffee is good.

I just walked out and my coffee was super gross I just threw it out.

Great little place to get a coffee and get some reading or work done. They have great smoothies as well.

cool location to meet with coworkers. the prices are fair for the quality of food. this place has good reviews for a reason.

I found this AMAZING little coffee house quite by accident and fell completely in love with it within 5 minutes of being there. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, the staff is very helpful and will even make something for you if you just say something like " coffee flavored, with half and half and sugar in the raw but make it blended". Your drink will be Purrrfect. I have been in Phoenix for a year now, and I sincerely WISH I had found The Black Cat sooner!

Great place to grab a cold or hot drink to energize you and get you through the day. Friendly and fast service. The owners are often running the shop, support your local business, folks!
