Never problems with Bislett Car Rental. They have become a bit old-fashioned, and I wish they had a plan with the App, so in recent years they have only been a backup for me. The cars are top quality.

Always nice and a good example of how good service should be performed. Great deals and easily accessible. Recommended !!

I used this company for van rental to move furniture and a trip to Ikea. Inexpensive compared with others available and had no problems with the ease of using the service.

We needed 2 vans and a sedan to assist a commercial filming of LG (feat. Alan Walker) in Oslo, Norway during July 8th and 13 (9 seats passengers) July 9 ~13 (7seats passengers).

I am a Korean American business man who rented a 9 and 7 passengers van from this crooks and they took 1600 extra euros for an excuse of saying that we did have 2 reservations and just used one and other has to be charged almost 240 Euros as penalty. They call me from Norway telling me that it would not have a cancellation fee since we are renting 2 vehicles. But on the next day, I received an email saying that we will get this fee (it changed maid instantly)

It will not be refunded this amount, according to their statement, but I was never aware that we would pay 20% miserable penalty for double booking and they have never told us that this would happen neither at their web nor in the emails where we exchanged during the rental process.

They withdraw 1600 Euros from our credit card and they are still holding it and has been almost 10 days (it happen on July 9th) plus we have spend more than 2000 euros in renting their vehicle for only 4~5 days. Do not ever leave your credit card number here b/c you will be sucked like a dust in a vacuum machine.

We are going to fight till end and have filled complain to Norway consumer protection center and we are going to prevent others wouldn't have to go to all this process. It s for the consumer rights and protection and clearly they have violated in which we have all the evidence kept in our emails.

I please to the community to not rent anything from this company because they don't even deserve neither one star... for lack in courtesy, promises, after services and not even invoices aren't clear and they just charge the amount according to their criteria. I ask you to not leave your credit card at their web site and anywhere for it own protection.

We rented a car there this summer at a very reasonable prize. The car was in superb shape and we were extremely happy by the service provided. The only reason for not given a 5 is that the reservation through their webpage did not seem to work. We had to go to the office to check the booking. I would recommend it to a friend.

Bislett car rental, I have used for many years.
Even though I have always had a car, it is not always suitable, so when the need arises, and I need another type of car, I go online and order until the next day.
There are professional and nice people there very good service.
I can highly recommend this company.

I recently rented a car from Bislet Bilutleie for 2 days for a trip to Telemark. The car was ready on time, very clean, had low mileage and functioned well. There was an issue about the return of the vehicle but it was resolved in an acceptable manner. I recommend this car rental service.

Okay and convenient if you need a van for a little while. But if there are better alternatives, I have not checked

This company has problems with attitudes and service settings. I have only rented a car of them once, despite the fact that I live near their office at Bislett and have a significant need for rent. The car was filthy with a series of minor injuries. I also discovered that the price in the contract was significantly higher than the one stated online. My advice is to use Nabobil or more serious rental companies.

Sold me a used car that Ford refused to take warranty responsibility for because they say it was driven far beyond the service intervals. When I approached them they did not deny it, only referred that they had made the service history available to me so it was not their fault.

So if you are considering buying a used car here, check and double check all the documentation.

One small detail, they picked off the load bars that were on during viewing before handing over the car. My fault that did not catch it but awkward anyway.

Another detail, which is not directly their fault since they stated that the car had had a collision damage: the workshop they used to fix that damage had been stubborn enough to use a bad strip to hold the cable package to the vidus lifts together, which probably results in a few thousand extra in expenses for me.

Otherwise fine.
