An excellent place for breakfast
Very friendly staff

Delicious and friendly but at a price, some of the best food I have eaten in Bishops Stortford but it is very expensive, if money is not an issue I would recommend as the service is great and the food is amazing.

Visited on a Thurs. evening with family; restaurant was half full (or empty depending upon your thinking). Wanted to order a selection of starters for sharing but apparently our Waiter wanted us to order a piece; in the end just had mains More

Good food and wine -- popular with people wanting just that little bit special

Formule breakfast deal was a good one and the food was really delicious. Poached eggs and avocado muffin with hot drink and juice. Only downside though 13% option service charge was actually not optional. Cheeky

Very hit and miss in the evening.
In the day the food is wonderful- service to match.

Of the evening we have had poor quality food, great service until the point where the place became quieter- we were ushered out whilst relaxing with 1 hour to closing!!

The manager of this establishment is wonderful at all times but sadly isn't around this evening to supervise closing.

I eat here often- when they get it right it's a real contender in the area.

We have not been able to enjoy relaxing for the final part of our meal as they are all cleaning, bashing about and chatting loudly/ shouting across the room to each other which is a disappointment!

Very friendly, efficient service. Usual decor with large glass frontage. Interior split into various 'cosy' areas.
Decent house wines and tasty, good quality food. Only moan is the 12.5% service charge which will limit the frequency of visiting.

Not a fan of their evening menu at all - but can t knock their breakfast. Try the French for a decent alternative to full English, and very reasonably priced.

A few things went wrong with the service, a couple of drinks missing and a meal or two taking a little longer. I'm still leaving a 5 star review because the service was incredible. The staff couldn't apologise more and gave us complimentary stuff as compensation. They were also so lovely to my sister as it was her birthday. We've been a few times and it's always been such a wonderful place, so one time of slowness can't change my high opinion of this place. If anything, the way they dealt with it improved how I feel about them.

Very original touch of Paris in Bishops Stortford. Friendly staff, good food. Nice extra touch's like water with your food. Good service. No long wait for food ( although it was on a Sunday morning ). Would recommend this place with confidence.

Absolutely a beautiful evening ! Food was faultless , every member of staff faultless , wine perfect and I have to say one of the best meals out I have had in stortford .

Interesting menu with options for kids and vegetarians. There is a fixed price special during January 2020 for meals before 7.00pm. Good service.

Fantastic service from the minute we arrived to minute we left. We had a big family birthday party and there was alot of us! This didn't phase the waiting staff at all. The food was delicious it looked great and extremely tasty. I would fully recommend the mussels as a starter. And the lamb rump price that I had was making others jealous. Top marks for this French restaurant, I would 100% go again.

Eat with guilt. The steak and chicken is corn fed! Not grass or free range. Knee deep in their own poo. Service friendly and nice.

Three courses all presented well and cooked to perfection. The white wine went superbly with the food. Service a little slow but it is always a mistake to go to a restaurant on a Friday. We will be going again.

Fantastic French food. I had the boeuf bourguignon and it was amazing. Really generous portion sizes as well! Gluten free options.

They're closing 11 o'clock but we been there 22.35 still got 25 mins for closing they dont want a take us in they told us to go kebab shop

Went here and fell in love with the waiter, he was so nice and funny.
The main course duck is the best duck ive tasted in a restaurant.

Had lunch here. Service was good, the food was delicious and for the price, the quantity exceeded expectations. Only letdown is the food could have been hotter, but the manager did rectify the situation. Would eat here again.

Excellent service. An older clientele than carluccio's but a slightly more grown up feel for it.
