Birmingham Bulls Review

Love this place! We go to the Bulls hockey games all the time, and we go ice skating. It's a great time for the while family!

We went to watch a Birmingham Bulls hockey game. They were very organized in the parking lot. The facility itself was clean and well maintained. Overall, the whole experience was great!

The Bulls Hockey team was the best time ive had at a sporting event ever. Will go back

Been here many times to ice skate and watch Alabama hockey ... Great staff. Went recently for a wedding and it was fantastic. Close to oak mtn state park good fun in the A/C

I went to watch a hockey game here, and I enjoy the atmosphere and the arena. Quality are for the sport.

I only gave 4 stars, because I vape/smoke. They do not have an area blocked off outside for smokers like most other venues I've visited.

My daughter recently signed up for a beginner ice skating class & loves it

I have been going to this ice skating rink since I was a little girl. Nonetheless, every experience I have had here was riddled with rude interactions. I have tried to give them a chance every year, and every year, it is the same, gross interaction with the staff. This time, it was with ice skating. The older man that is bald working seemed to be very friendly with certain "types" of customers but when me and my friend and our siblings interacted with him, it was very rude and hostile. I dont expect much since it is a small town but I dont understand when we were only kind to him. I suppose taking my money to Birmingham will be better since clearly, we are not welcome here..

There is nobody watching the skaters but other than that it is a good place.

An excellent place for a convention and or a company function

The complex was clean and the food was great. It s really out of their hands, but the bulls need to reduce the price of their tickets. They are overpriced.

The arena and staff are nice, but I seriously wonder just HOW OLD those rental skates are! They are ANKLE CRUSHERS! The kids and I have to shove tissue in our socks so it doesnt crush bone. If you have your own skates, come here! If you dont have your own skates, go somehwere with better rentals if you dont wanna be hurting for a week afterwards.

Alabama Hockey was GREAT! More people should go. Inexpensive and exciting. The only thing I suggest is DON"T park next to the team bus because you might get your back end taken off like I did. Lol.

We had a great time watching the hockey team. Food here is good and all the staff was super helpful and nice. Even if the hockey team lost, it s still a great family thing to do and reasonably priced at around $15 a ticket

This is a great space for any event professional or private. Located in the heart of Pelham very close to the interstate. If you are attending a convention, there are also several hotels close by and plenty of places to eat.Parking is great. The staff are very friendly and I enjoy every visit I have made!

When you get told you're going to your third graders Christmas program, are sick in traffic outside, nearly trampled inside, and she sings two songs, it's a bit annoying. But the venue itself is lovely. Just not really great on parking for large events.

The skating rink is really fun and the place in general is kept in good condition, but the customer service is what brings my rating down. The teenagers, as well as the adults are generally unfriendly and borderline rude. I left a pair of skates to be sharpened and then said it would be done in 3 or 4 days. I came back 2 weeks later and they still weren't sharpened. Luckily I wasn't in a rush but this kind of service isn't okay. I wanted to take skating lessons over the summer, but is it worth it to give them my money when they don't even care?

Birmingham Bulls, Alabama and UAB play their hockey home games here. Inexpensive and something the kids love to go watch and we always have a great time.

Easy to get in and out of. The Bulls aren t currently drawing a large crowd but that actually isn t a bad thing because the action is up close and personal. Decent concessions and overall good experience.

Great staff that accommodated our group ticket purchase for a Bulls hockey game. Concessions were very good and reasonably priced. Buckets seats have replaced the bleacher style seating. Will definitely be back!

Very nice complex. The public skate sessions were awesome for the kids. It's not expensive at all for a night out with the kids. The "public time" is scheduled around hockey games and practices, so you have to check their website for availability. If they were open to the public during the day I would've given them 5 stars. They're awesome.

Was there for a tree lighting ceremony. Venue is a great size with ample seating. Concession and other areas were numerous also. Leaving the parking lot is congested and takes a while if a large event is going on. This is because there are no traffic controls built in to the parking area.

My cousin her wedding reception here. I'm not from the area so im not familiar with it. Nonetheless it was decorated beautifully.

My 4 year old is doing the learn to play hockey! She done so well for her first time! The whole staff was AWESOME! They showed so much attention to her even though they had a ton of kids! Will definitely be going more often!

Two sheet s of ice for open skating, adult and kids hockey leagues, figure skating. Great facility, especially as it is in the deep south. New minor league team, Birmingham Bulls, starting up this Fall, come out and see some good hockey!

I went to skate after chemo treatment. It was just what i needed to do. Some activity. Not alot of people there. Cold...so no germs....

Great environment. Been coming here for years, they ve got they best ice around. For a skater who skates at different times the hours are perfect. The service is great, although I don t buy food there my friends and family do and they say it great. Plenty of spots to see the skaters and CLEAN water fountains. If you live nearby this is the best ice skating rink.

Lots of fun at the tree lighting. Pelham High home ec made delicious cookies like always. Band provided wonderful music. Grandkids had so much fun ice skating. Thanks city of Pelham.

Great venue, family friendly, easy to get in and out. A great asset for the community. Birmingham Bulls Hockey is a great outing fir the family. Loads of fun for all at very reasonable price.

Many improvements in the main areas. Team change rooms sorely need updating though

I go there for Figure Skating and the pro shop is amazing with lots of selection and knowledgeable staff. Always clean and friendly every time I've been there.

Fun place and if you have not skated in awhile give it a try. I ve only been a few times but it s always clean and never crowded. Who knew a Southerner would like ice skating-so much.

We went ice skating here using a Groupon and it was so much fun. The only complaint I have is that the public skate was 2 hours and the ice was not fixed. There were kids trying to make holes in the ice and it wasn't smooth and a lot of people kept falling where that was happening.

This is a very nice place and only place to ice skate in Birmingham. The rink is large can fit quite a few people. It is a good time and recommend every one to try it out.
