C. Bennett Review

We hired C. Bennett to design and install a new closet for our master bedroom. From the very beginning, Butch was very professional and shared his ideas and extensive knowledge of closet products and designs. We really did not know exactly what we wanted, but Butch was able to give us several options. The finished product design was so much better than what we originally envisioned. We were so impressed; we are working with Butch for two other closet designs and installations. Butch took the time and effort to answer all our questions and to point out the pros and cons of all the possible choices.
Dani did an exceptional job with install of the closet. She was very professional, respectful of our home and worked hard to make certain we had a quality product when she was finished. It looks terrific and we cannot thank Butch and Dani enough for the great job. We could not be happier with our newly designed closet and look forward to enjoying it for many years to come. We will certainly be recommending C Bennett to our friends and family.

Had a cbennett fireplace installed about a year ago. Used only a dozen times and already the door is falling apart and the back wall has a crack running up the middle . Out of warranty of course.

My wife and I are in the process of building a new house and have been to Bennett a couple times now and I have to say we are both quite impressed with the broad selection of materials and even more impressed with the knowledge of the personel. We are not the easiest people to deal with and normally ask tons of questions, however Cory, our sales associate is very patient with us and covers the majority of our questions up front before we have to ask them. This is very refreshing.

We have been disappointed in this company. They were supposed to supply shower doors, towel bars and closet shelves for our new home. Not one thing was done on time. I m still waiting on many items, all were selected months ago. The toilet paper holders were not installed in the specified locations, one piece of the masterbathroom shower was too large and had to be reordered. For a company with a 4 star rating, we expected much more.

Terrible customer service and does not stand by their work or product. We had a fireplace installed only a year and a half ago and the finish is already peeling off. C Bennett refused to even look at their crappy job without charging a large service fee or fix their work.

Had what I wanted and it will be installed next week wow thought I would have to wait awhile.great help thank you.

C Bennett is the top of the line service, customer service and product quality! Matt is great ! He repaired and cleaned my gas fireplace within 35 minutes! He diagnosed the problem - had the part on-hand (reasonably priced!) and I had my fireplace back! He knew what he was doing - he called prior to arriving (on time) and explained the issue to me prior to repairing. I have also dealt with Corey Ryan regarding a fireplace mantel. Corey went above and beyond to ensure I found the perfect mantel - and he saved me money in the process. Showed true concern for my satisfaction. The ladies in the office were courteous and accommodating as well. Neat and well displayed showroom. Can't say enough good things about C Bennett! Thank you! You are greatly appreciated ! C Bennett installed a new glass shower surround/door in our master bath and also a chimney sweep (cap). Both projects were completed on-time and we are very pleased with the results.

Don't do business with C Bennett Building Supplies. We hired them to install a custom master shower, gas fireplace, closet shelving & towel/shower bars. We've had 7 service calls after installation to fix these items and they are still wrong. The installers are unprofessional, messy, have no pride in their workmanship & don't know what they are doing. No one is taking accountability at the company. We're going to cut our losses and hire another company to complete/ fix everything we already paid C Bennett Supply to do.

Decided to convert wood fireplace to gas. Contacted C Bennett and spoke with Heather. She was so informative. She was very knowledgeable about the gas line conversion process and set me right up with an appointment with Jason the installer. He came out to look at my fireplace. He also was very professional and did a great job explaining how they would be doing the job and my best options. The choice of logs was a breeze as Heather sent me the choices on line and help me avoid a trip to the store. The website sent me to a you tube video that actually showed the logs burning. Installation was set up promptly. Looking forward to having everything installed and being able to enjoy my new fireplace!

Today Jason came out and installed my gas fireplace (9/21/20). He arrived promptly and got to work. It looks great! Can't wait to start using it. He was very professional, explained everything and answered all my questions before he left.

One of the worst experiences for a major purchase. On Nov 2017 we purchased an Empire Boulevard Vent Free fireplace Natural Gas Fireplace (35,000 BTUS). The customer service representative was rude and not receptive to answering questions about the features and performance of the different types of vent free fireplaces. There was no guidance offered in the coordination between contractor, electrician and gas hook up requirements, other than there is a manual we could download. The customer service representative also misinformed us of major requirements i.e. electrical switch and placement of the receiver box. We also discovered that the initial install was delayed because the unit came with propane gas components instead of natural gas components as we ordered. After several complaints about the inefficient performance of the fireplace and several trips by technicians, my husband and I discovered that C Bennett has actually installed a 25,000 BTU unit instead of the 35,000 we ordered. Consumers beware of purchases you make with C. Bennett Building Supplies.

We were quoted different prices from different sales reps. EXTREMELY OVERPRICED! I would definitely look into other vendors.

I have not been able to light my fire in 3 years. Corey came out and got it working for me. I am so happy. I will be sure to let my neighbors know what a great experience I had.

Corey Ryan assisted me while looking for gas logs. He was very personable and provided me with options on different sets and things that could be ordered to visually enhance the set I was interested in. He really seemed to know his stuff. I had gone to other places who showed me the same brand but they seemed uninterested in really explaining the product. Like Corey told me the difference in just looks and the ones that will provide radiant heat. And C Bennet had a much nicer showroom. Even though the pricing was very close I am going with Corey later this year (other projects to do first) because he just seemed to care and his knowledge was on point! I would highly recommend them as a company but Corey is what sold me on them.

We bought a recessed fireplace and I love how clean it is. Our grand kids can touch the glass, no mess from firewood, and it is very easy to keep clean. Very pleased with how big the flames are and the heat it puts off. I also love the clean modern look of It.

I was very impressed with the service I received when I purchased my fireplace. The entire process was not perfect, however the way my concerns were handled was perfect. I will return to consider Cbennett when I get a new shower door next Spring.

We just had a set of gas logs installed and my wife and I could not have been more pleased with the entire process! When my mom strongly recommended C Bennett I should have known it was going to be a good experience... (she can be very hard to please) And she was 100% right. We were impressed from start to finish. Our salesman Jerry Phelps was awesome throughout the entire process! He came out to my home multiple times and walked us through what the entire process would look like and explained all our options. (We were kind of a unique case because our home is 100% electric so we had to have Spire come and run a gas line to the house and C Bennett was responsible for running the line around the house and to the fireplace.) We then came into the showroom and he guided us through picking the right set for us. Because of his input we wound up changing our minds on which set to get and we couldn't be happier with that decision. He just provided the facts and let us come to the correct decision. He also gave us his direct line and I contacted him multiple times with questions and he always responded promptly and always had the answer to my question. Can't say enough about how happy we are to have had the pleasure of working with Jerry. Then came the day of installation. It was a bit of a job b/c of the need to run such a long line. Our tech, Jason Montani was fantastic! He was very friendly and willing to explain anything he was doing throughout the process and answer any questions. And you could tell that he was very skilled and experienced. His explanations were easy to understand but also comprehensive enough to put your mind at ease that he knew exactly what he was doing. (which is pretty important when the work being done involves the flow of gas into your home!) There is a certain intangible value to feeling confident that the job was completed in a meticulous manner, and that your home and your family are safe after the technician has gone. And finally I would be remiss if I failed to mention Jeremy Patterson. He is the tech that came out to safety test and comprehensively demonstrate use of the appliance. He was super friendly, gave detailed instructions on every function of the set, and thoroughly answered every question I could think to throw at him. To be honest, I was a little disappointed when I heard it wasn't Jason coming back out to finish up b/c, what were the chances that two separate techs could be that good? But Jeremy was. I don't know, maybe everyone that works at C Bennett is this awesome? That's hard to fathom so maybe I just got extremely lucky. Either way, I don't know anyone in their right mind who would take the time to write the novel of a review that I just did if they weren't ecstatic with the level of service they received... so I obviously HIGHLY recommend C Bennett!

Purchased and had installed a new two sided fireplace insert. Entire process was very smooth and efficient from start to finish. Installer called 30 minutes prior to arrival, arrived exactly as promised, installed unit in less than 60 minutes, and walked me through the entire process prior to starting. Fair pricing + great service = very happy customer.

Ordered glass shower doors. The design team was great and pointed out things we hadn t thought of so we were happier with the final product. Install team was fast, on time, and did an excellent job. They ll get my future business for sure.

These are my least favorite reviews to write. But I m going to write it anyway in the hopes it will save someone else the grief of dealing with them.
Beware, if you do not know everything about your logs and fireplace before you call, or you may be hit with a $160 service call just for them to say sorry, we don t work on that brand. If you move to a new home and are unable to identify what you ve purchased with your home, spare yourself the grief and find a more broadly experienced service (and I use that term very loosely) provider.

Directions In Design has worked with CBennett for many years and they have provided excellent products for our projects. Kylie and Steve do a great job in presenting their expansive product offering and educating us with valuable safety and technical information.

This place is amazing! We were greeted at the front desk with two very professional employees. Meghan assisted us with our purchases in the incredible show room. She was knowledgeable, impressionable, pleasant and very accommodating. My husband and I were so impressed with her knowledge of everything! I highly recommend C Bennett for your fireplace, appliance and decorating needs to create your beautiful comfortable home.

On March 21st we engaged CBennett Building Supply to install a 90 degree shower enclosure and a large vanity mirror. During the measuring process we were informed it takes 7 - 10 days for the install. During the sales process we were informed multiple times it takes 7 - 10 days for the install and that it was very possible our door would be installed on the earlier date. We have an email from our Sales Rep on 3/21 stating she was ordering the shower doors that day. We have an email confirming 7 - 10 days.

Today (4/2) I called to see if our door was in. I was told our door is not expected until April 12 or 13, making an install of April 16 highly likely. We were not informed of the delay or the reason for the delay.

Our family is being relocated out of state -- we planned to sign a listing agreement this Friday to put our home on the market. Now we learn we have to wait TWO weeks because this company doesn't have their stuff together.

Try calling and getting to a Sales Manager or owner of the company --

Thanks to Ron the Operations Manager we got our shower and mirror installed on Friday April 6th. The install was in progress when the Appraiser was doing his walk-through. The C Bennett installer was very professional and did a nice job. I upgraded the review based on Ron Williams and the installer's effort to complete our job. Thank you.

Bad experience. When we called this company for a fireplace repair we gave them the make & model of our Heat and Glow unit and described what the nature of the problem was. After waiting several weeks for the service call the repairman they sent us was not familiar with the fireplace and could only guess at what he thought the problem was and what part was probably needed, which of course he didn't have on his truck. I spoke to his boss on the phone but without going into the ugly details let's just say it was a fiasco--never again.

Eric from C Bennett was extremely professional. They installed our frame-less shower door and helped us fix the broken glass in our hutch. Job was done timely and in budget. I would highly recommend them.

I am so happy I finally made the decision to convert my vent free gas fireplace to electric with the help from Heather Moss at C Bennett. She was so helpful and informative throughout the entire process. There were a few issues with miscommunication about install dates, but it ended up getting completed on my birthday, which made my day that much more special! Tyler did the removal of gas insert, built a platform for electric insert, and installed new marble with the electric insert. He did a beautiful job and was very kind and professional. I am so pleased, and already recommended C Bennett to a coworker interested in an electric fireplace unit!

My sister has had a horrible experience with this company and I would highly recommend using another service for fireplaces. Nothing like spending thousands to get a fireplace that doesn't work and leaks, then nobody is able to help get it repaired. Plus they want to tell you its not covered under warranty even though it has never worked correctly after almost a year.
