Nice enough pub and very friendly and accommodating staff, but the food was a little hit and miss. Some people loved the quality and quantity, whilst others had poor experiences - especially the chips served with the fish and chips.
Great that the pub is dog friendly, however whilst the pub dog was an endearing a nice touch to begin with, when it was seated staring at us, all but begging, whilst we ate, we felt it should have been moved on. To make matters worse, a customer brought in a small dog that was seated for a good while on one of the tables - not hygienic.
Recommended for a drink, but not sure I'd eat there again.

Nice big garden with spaced out tables and some undercover tables in a large marquee.

The one way system through the bar works well, sanitisers placed at various positions on the walls. Plenty of signs and the bar area has perspex screens in place for protection.

A nice pub that's adapted well to Covid restrictions.

The food was really nice but what I assume was the owners dog was bothering me for most of my time there. I'm not a dog lover and don't wish to have one staring at me and poking it's face (that's been good knows where) all over me while I eat my food. Shame
