I was really excited to go here...view was all I can say was nice.

If you want meat sweats, this is your place. You will have no ragrets. But in all seriousness, the food is great, good atmosphere, good service. A little expensive, but I think that for the full experience it's worth it.

It has a good atmosphere inside and out on the patio. They serve the drinks fast. I never have a long wait time.
They are pretty fast with the food too. I was able to have a taste of some of the lagers on tap before I ordered a glass. That was a nice touch. Thank you bartender! I will return after two nice visits. Every one I see has a good time with their guests. They even had an area inside Billy Joe's set up for baby shower. How about that?

One of the best bars nightclub and bbq in Hudson valley.

Such an awesome place. The view was beautiful, the vibe was fun and the food was delicious. Definitely worth a visit.

Good food, nice view. Unfortunate that it's up river from the sewage treatment plant, so on hot days with the right wind, eating can be really unpleasant. Decent happy hour specials.

The food was amazing and the service was exceptional. Johnathan the owner is a very friendly and overall great guy who is very welcoming and makes sure your experience there is one of a kind. I definitely will be returning!

A massive place, good food, nice outdoor ambience, could get real noisy.

Nice bbq sports bar. Good vibe. Fantastic views! Friendly staff. Fatima was great! Good drinks. Fresh garden vegetables. The pulled pork was amazing. Biggest plate of calamari. Will be back to try more from the menu.

Had a terrible experience yesterday at Billy Joe's. Waitress left the premises in the middle of my dinner. As a matter of fact she left the restaurant without notification. I had to leave my table and look for her for assistance. She was not very pleasent from the very begining. Manager never came to apologize or give credit for rude behaviour of one of his staff member.

We hit this spot after our morning rides to bear mountain and I have nothing but great things to say about this place. Wings are slamming good and dont forget about the mac and chesse...... Heart attack ready!

The worst seating service I have ever experienced. It was a saturday night and they were very busy but groups of similar size and larger were seated before us and our token never buzzed. I was so upset I left I cannot support a restaurant that doesnt support me. I had better service at the mess hall in Iraq during a war

Dog friendly, good food, great view with huge outdoor patio and good beer selection.

The lobster mac and cheese is SLAMMIN. Lately that's about all I go for. The ambience of the place is super chill. Security are nice until it's time to not be. Waitresses and waiters during food hours are great for it being such a big place. At night when the tables and chairs are moved over and the DJ comes out, it's time to really have some fun. In the summer you can chill outside right over the water. In the winter I'd recommend staying in. Lol.

Good place, sometimes slow service at the bar; so prepare for that. But alright food for "reasonable" prices, and a nice ambiance for chilling and drinking

Outdoor area is gorgeous on the Hudson River. Great place to gather for a relaxing drink and dinner.

Always enjoy coming down to the waterfront, when i am visiting in town. Been coming here from way back when it was club 'Front Street'. Great service, cool crowd and ambiance. You have to stop in and experience the goodness

Let me start by saying I do not normally write reviews. This restaurant was AMAZING!!!! We were a table of 16, with a reservation, on a Friday Night at 7pm. Table was ready when we arrived. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Our Service was also outstanding. Soft drinks were refilled without asking and cocktails were also replenished quickly. The FOOD...amazing! We were definitely "wowed." Very difficult to please everyone in a large group but they nailed it. Ribs were "fall off the bone" and the brisket was fork tender. If you like Mac & Cheese - it is delicious!

I will admit I was a bit nervous after reading a negative review. We were in town for a wedding and celebrating my nephews college graduation as well. The review mentioned a cafeteria feel and too noisy. I did not have that feeling or experience at all. This is a water front restaurant and voices do carry on the water but I did not feel the noise level was too much and it was pretty crowded.

The food was good, atmosphere was awesome. We went on a saturday night had dinner and hung out after to hear the band. There was plenty of waitstaff, everything was served quickly and they couldn't have been more friendly.

The shirmp with Mac and cheese & mashed potatoes was delicious. Gotta sit outside next time. Beautiful views.

Great place! The food was fantastic, and they have both indoor and outdoor seating that looks over the river with a great view!. There's 1 indoor and 2 outdoor bars, but even if you have some family members who don't like to drink (like me) I still recommend coming because it doesn't really have a "bar" vibe in the standard seating. The wait staff is fantastic. 2 possible negatives are the prices (standard for a BBQ place but still can be rough if you're paying for several people) and the parking that might require you to walk a couple hundred yards. Worth every bit of the 5 stars!

Their food has been much better than say over 1 year ago and the staff has always been first rate! Friendly and attentive. The view from the deck is outstanding with 2 outdoor bars in the summer.

A very busy popular place. The food was plentiful and good. We we're celebrating my granddaughters graduation from ASU. The staff was accommodateing. I do plan on a return visit.

Best place for BBQ ribs and chicken in the Hudson Valley. Live music on the weekend. Great outdoor seating in the warm months. Very extensive menu of ribs, chicken, sausage and even fish. Come early on the weekend days are you're in for a very long wait.

If You're a meat & potatoes man, r his is 2 here you wanna be!!!! Whether it's burgers, brisket, pork or ribs this place has the meats!!!!!

Been there a couple of times always good this time I asked for balsamic vinegar and olive oil for my salad I don't know what the hell they gave me it must have been plain vinegar not a good experience thank God it was a nice day sun was shining good atmosphere!

I went last night with my wife. The atmosphere is great and the staff was awesome. The food was great. I look forward to going back again. The manager, Jordan Harrington was most professional. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

My food tasted amazing. Open space and friendly atmosphere

This place had great food when they first opened but it has gotten terrible. The brontosaurus ribs portion got tiny. The menu implies it's a full rack of ribs but it's only three. It used to be a full rack. When I questioned the server I was told they changed meat suppliers, well then update your menu! Price certainly didn't go down.

Anyone if you like long wait times for mediocre bbq go here.

First time here not on a weekend and the experience was so much better. There was plenty going on but the service was quicker and the food was better than I have experienced in the past. (Past experience was not bad, but it seems things were taken up a notch. Even the corn bread was better.) Both the nachos with pulled pork and the salad with brisket were delicious. One of the owners visited the table twice to see how everything was.

I had the barbecue pulled pork a generous portion it was excellent joyous environment with music and dancing. You have to try it.

While I'm very happy they work on providing gluten free I don't like that the brisket was very dry

This place gets packed in nice weather, and weekends. If you can go for lunch during the week, its a great place to sit and watch the river. Food is okay, and wait staff is good

I had the pulled pork which was good but far from the best. Only one sauce type which is on the mild side of medium. The most disappointing part is the sauce and corn bread. It just does'nt have that magic something that makes it special. If I go for the calories and fat content of this type of meal I want it to be better. Without the spectacular view I would rate this place a 31/4.

Security and staff were unneccessarily rude to my guest and I. We had only just arrived and I had never been there before. I will never go again. Do not go here.

Food is consistently fantastic......Staff is superb. Shay is a professional waitress....prompt, helpful, patient & fun. Joe, the manager, is always friendly. He is an extremely hard worker who has his staff well-trained.

Probably better in warm weather. I was cold and warm at the same time bc of how the heat is set up. Not a fan of the inclined floor. Food was decent but portions were crazy big which is usually not a complaint but it was wasteful.

Billy Joes is a very lively Bbq restaurant. It's great for family gatherings and weekend nightlife. If you like Bbq and a great view of the Hudson river, go to Billy Joes!

The food we ordered was decent the price is high but a nice place for a larger crowd. The service was not so good the lady never checked on us we had empty drinks and the food took forever.
