Need an allergy menu

They need an allergy menu at least for the staff s sake. I have a soy allergy and I made sure the server knew and they told me they use an oil I can eat (canola oil) and assured me my meal was soy free, however, they did not check the bun which contained soy so I had a reaction

The staff was amazing when they found out I had a reaction, they offered medical attention if needed the manager told me about his friend s allergy and how he understands and they covered my meal and gave me a $50 gift card. I still felt very sick from the soy but I appreciated everything they did

I just wish they had a set allergy menu at least for the staff s sake so they don t have to go run around and check every ingredient in the meal. They do have a gluten free menu which is a great step but there are 8 major allergies out there and it would be helpful to have a menu so it can go smoothly the next time

Ok the food was excellent, but my brontosaurus ribs the first time wasn't so good but .Anthony took care of them. One of the best restaurants I been to .

We were seated right away ... the food was delicious, with many great selections ... when the weather is nice, there is outdoor seating right on the river ... a great place for small and large groups!

Not a big fan of the Waitress takes your order and anybody else delivers the food or drinks. Waited 10 mins. for a beer after ordering. I decided to go to the outside bar, (10 ft. away) for my 2nd beer and there was 1 bartender for twenty something people sitting there. Food was okay, service was messed up. Management is letting a lot of revenue get away.

As usual Billy Joe's Ribworks has great service and great food with a spectacular view of the Hudson River.

Liked the atmosphere. The cheeseburger was dry, over cooked to medium, not rare. Tasteless Amcheese, underdone fries. Somebody is not listening and I don t want to have to fight the staff over it.

I love coming to Billy s but moments like now is why I love it so much. Last night I went there and had a great night food was amazing as always and the atmosphere was just perfect, so much so that we ordered food to go and we left. When I got home I realized that one of my meals was missing after we paid for it already. Our fault for not checking the bag but I was really annoyed. I called Billy s and John the kitchen manager was amazingly sweet and understanding. I was preparing for an argument that never needed to happen he took care off my needs by making me a new order without a hassle . I was so happy and pleased especially after paying a little over $30 bucks for a meal I never got. Thank you John it s people like you that will keep me coming back as a loyal customer

Nice place to visit after taking a boat tour. My brisket platter was a nice combo of lean and fatty pieces. The braised collard greens and mashed potatoes were very flavorful. My wife had the wings. She was happy with the portion size and how the Buffalo sauce had a good kick to it.

Staff were very pleasant and helpful with getting our leftovers wrapped up.

The saloon atmosphere fits the cuisine.

Came here for dinner and had the fire alarm go off, that was fun. But after dinner hours this place clears space for dancing and they bring in decent bands

Gets too cramped with people waiting to be seated and hard to leave the building with everyone cluttered in the way. Would be nice if the people waiting could stand elsewhere. Foods good. Drinks good.

A friend and I went for drinks (very nice) appetizers (Nice enough) and dinner (really sub par) ...i had the,brisket sandwich and it was tough and dried out like the sole of an old shoe. Waitress never came back to ask how we were doing only the,bus boy and he did absolutely nothing. The music was great the bar is hoppin and the appetizers are,good

Probably one of the cleanest most entertaining place you can take anyone that's not from the area. They are always pleased and surprised that a place like this exists in the city of Newburgh. Try the pulled porktato and the smoked out ribs.

Always awesome food. A little disappointed they changed their menu. I miss the beef ribs, but too many mamby pamby people complained about the meat falling off the bones. But other items are good too.

Amazing location. Food is alright. Ribs are good and the bar is nice. Deffinetly wouldn't rate this as top gear but I've brought clients here and had a great time.

Eh, great deck, food is below average, service is fair, atmosphere is fantastic, live music is usually awesome, bar service is less than good. Overall, it's not great for dining but if you're looking for a spot that's scenic, has good live music often, and is packed 90% of the time, this is it on the water front. Used to be called Front Street.

If u are drinking don't pay with a card or keep a tab they will rob you

BUSY PLACE! Went there on a recommendation from a local. It was 3:30 on a beautiful Saturday afternoon and this place was crowded. Our server Matt took great care of us and was very quick considering how busy they were.
The food was good and the draft beer selections should please just about anyone. The brisket and pulled pork were good, we didn't have any ribs so I don't know how good they are.
This is a great place to kick back and relax (there was a band playing while we were there), I would recommend this place.

Friendly staff and a beautiful atmosphere. The food portions are fair. I really enjoyed the BBQ chicken and the cheesy mac. However on the evening I went they ran out of steaks which I was really looking forward too. Staffs I think are overwhelmed by the amount of tables they have to wait, so you're usually waiting like 5-10 minutes for an extra plate.

My girlfriend and i came by after visiting storm king art center. It was during spring and it was a bit cold. They had their outside set up, but when the sun went down, it was cold. Luckily we had our jackets on. We ordered ribs, calamari, wings and corn bread. They had a good selection of beer and we really enjoyed the river view outside.

We recently came back to Billy Joe last weekend and it was a lot warmer! We really enjoyed the outside this time around. Right up against the Hudson River. The food was amazing. You have to try their wings. The brisket and calamari was good. But their wings are amazing..

Love the vibe, love the outside seating.

Had lunch with a friend for Mothers day, seating was fast and the food came out quickly. Food is always great. Never been disappointed.

Amazing views on the back deck, good food and drinks

Amazing bbq joint on the water front in newburg. Went there with a motorcycle group from staten island (about 15 people) after doing a ride in the area. The place is so big they had no problem accommodating us. The waitstaff were so friendly, very fast service and the food was absolutely perfect. Will definitely be going back there again. Everyone in our group loved the food with not one complaint.

I just had the Billy joe ribworks salad , hold all the meat. I can't help you on meat related menus. But the place is very airy and spaced out.

Went there with a group of friends expecting to have great ribs but was extremely disappointed at how unsavory they were. I ordered a full rack of the St. Louis style ribs but only ate a few because they were insipid & slightly undercooked. For place with "Ribworks" in their name - you think the ribs would be more flavorful. My friends shared my sentiment about their rib orders. Surprisingly, though - the appetizers were delicious. We had buffalo wings & fried pickles: they were exceptional. Also, the staff is extremely friendly & accommodating. And you can't beat the view & their outdoor space. I will certainly go back again but will not order their ribs.

I will NEVER go back to this spot again. The service was HORRIBLE....I went there once when it first opened for dinner. It was about 5:30 PM

I got Id'd at the door before I could even sit down and order my food which i found very VERY tacky.

I ordered a medium rare prime rib, it was well done and dry, did NOT taste good at all

Then I went out back for a smoke, Some sterioded out security guard grabbed my shoulder (and bruised it) yanked me back and told me "you cant smoke here" meanwhile I am outside.

he proceeds to try and force me over to a little 6x6 pen to smoke, I said some harsh things to the security guard and walked out.

Me and my mother ordered food to go here after getting tattoos at the tattoo parlor next door, when we got ho.e we realized that some of our food was not in the bag. So we called them to let them know what we where missing. My mother was all set an ready to drive there an getthe rest of our food, because what was in the bags that we tasted was absolutely delicious an we where excited to try the rest of our food. So NOT ONLY did deliver the food to our house (mind you we will 20 minutes away from the restaurant) but they also remained our entire order over again an gave us a coupon for our next time to eat there and also promised to have the manager call us the ne,t day to see how everything was. Which they really didn't have to. In all my time eating out I have never seen that level of just amazing customer service they really out did there selves. Me an my family will definitely be eating here again no doubt about. Food was amazing service was outstanding what more could you ask for. I give them a 5/5 an am going to recommended them to all my friend an whomever eles asks.

The prices went way up with no noticeable change in food quality. The food is still amazing though.

Had our farewell nursing school party there! They treated us well. We had a wonderful time - really nice space. Drinks were great too!

Good place to eat outside right on the river front.large deck great views.Great place to have a party.Good waiter's and bar on deck.Ribs have good smoked flavor but I personally did not like in side so raw like but this is stated in the menu that they are this way.Will difently go back if in the area again.Wheel chair accessible and handicap parking in front.

Food is fuego. After you're done eating here, grab yourself some empanadas from.the place straight across. You'll thank me later.

The food is good, but avoid if you NEED to be gluten free. This is the second time they've screwed up my order so we won't be back.

One of my favorite BBQ joints ever!!! The food is outstanding and the portions are, lets say you don't come out hungry.. wait staff is very attentive and cheerful. And the views!!! I recommend a seat outside on the back. I definitely recommend this place.
