Great hangout spot, good food, music and great drinks!

Great food, view, decor, portion sizes. Serving staff is hit or miss. On our previous visit the server was awesome and attentive, this time server was giving us the bum's rush like she was looking to go home. Regardless, I will be back.

I don t really like to write negative reviews but this place gives me diarrhea every time without fail, and it s kind of expensive for what it is.

Nice view on Hudson. Food was Okay, nothing special. Don't cater to singles very well.

Ordered a rack of ribs and a dozen chicken wings and the fries was smaller than a happy meal for kids . Wings were burnt, ribs were all fatty.
2 beers. Total 62 dollars without the tip. The waitress was the best. Attentive and cheery.

I was on a vegan detox when I came here! So so sad. However the veggies I had were awesome!

On return visit food serving size shrunk food cold not good at all

I guess I'm mostly eating the view. Would get 5 stars if you didn't have to wait an hour to sit by the water but in guess you can make a reservation... food is ok at best. Pretty pricey and if your not the "right kind of crowd" they tend to rush you out before you even get to let your food sit in your belly and enjoy the view. 1st visit very uncomfortable 2nd visit a little better not sure if a 3rd is happening

Probably the best pulled pork I've ever had. Great ambiance and right on the water.

Lion dancing is not my thang, but there was some lovely lovely ladies. Get in the groove fellas. A potential new frontier.

Strip steak is outstanding mashed potatoes with cornbread. A little pricey but worth it

Too big for their own good, food was like any chain in my opinion. Not horrible, just nothing to write home about.

With everything going on the staff is masked up, tables are socially distanced and they are super helpful as always. I'm happy to see they are doing well.

Food was superb as always. Sliders are always awesome along with wings and bbq sauce. Drinks were on par with what my buddies and I needed on the hot 4th of july day.

I will return and keep bringing new friends each time. My buddy went back when we got home with his wife so she could enjoy some of the food too.

Exceptional customer service and the most beautiful atmosphere over looking the Hudson river.

Not the cheapest place, but far and away the best for flavor and certainly quantity. My sandwich was loaded with four half-inch thick slices of brisket and onion rings, topped with cheddar cheese and barbeque sauce. The brisket was cooked perfectly; soft and juicy with a lot of flavor. The fries were cooked crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and there were plenty of them. I would eat here again if I am in the area.

Traveling same day from DC to NYC then took a cab from the city to meet coworkers living in the area for dinner from a recommendation. Had to empty pockets, metal detector wand, then told I had to leave laptop bag at coat check. I agreed and said I would have to get the laptop out of it as it cannot be left unattended- Information security. I was told that I couldn't bring laptop with me to dine. Metal detector guy was polite but it seems it's more likely to be a crime scene than a restaurant from that experience. Had to leave, call another cab and redirect dinner party to the town of Beacon across the bridge. Found welcoming experiences there.

Food was delicious! Started with the mac bites and got the beef ribs for dinner. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Cant wait to sit outside by the water once it gets warm!

Delicious !!!!! I loved it, especially the cornbread that was delicious. The burgers are also very good. Some friends had taken meat and they loved it. In short, go there!

Cool view on the water, food was good, big Mac and cheese portion! Bartender was great conversationalist and attentive.

Mr Campos welcomed me with open arms, and his accommodating staff were so heartwarming. Christian most notably was super friendly and helpful in my visit!!!

Billy Joe's was ok, it's not the best ribs or brisket I've ever had. I felt the place is more about bringing in the people to drink and not so much the food. For the price I would not go back.

Busy place but once you taste the ribs you'll see why. Staff was gracious with us and even entertained my little one.

Amazing view but pretty below average barbecue.... brisket was chewy and obviously not smoked enough, and the ribs were about the same. Come for a drink and a good time, but don't expect to be impressed by the food

Found this place by chance while going on an aimless road trip. The ribs was smackingly perrrfectly done with 2 side dish that go with it. The sliders are superb. Will definitely get back to taste the rest of what they offer.

Honestly I have been hearing about this place for years and due to the general crowd who tells me about it I haven't wanted to go. I went and it didnt disappoint. Beer selection was 12/10, service was 10/10, food was a 9/10. Now a big fan.

Big restaurant with outside seating and fast service when we were there. The nachos and whipped sweet potatoes were really good!

The ribs and chicken were very It was very bland, and it taste like it had no seasoning on the ribs. I did like the Fried Pickles, the best I have had anywhere. The sweet potatoe was also very good. Overall, disappointed since I heard good things about this place.

Treat you like a criminal walking in especially the fat girl in the front scanning you to get in, very rude to my girlfriend, telling me to empty all my pockets and then charging $10 to get in for a horrible music just to have a beer at the bar... I haven't been mistreated or myself and I live right across the river from Manhattan never been treated like this before.... too much of a preppy bar.... shame on the bikers and chapters that go in there... I'm pretty sure you know where I'm coming from.. far bar is a disgrace.... went next to the bar next door great staff and such a great deal

I went here for my birthday with my grandparents. We got a table right by the river. Our server Irving was very nice! I had the rib work cheeseburger it was delicious!!! I definitely recommend coming here for good times and a good view!!!

I was hungry as can be. We walked in and the BBQ smell filled the air. They had a huge selection of choices. Their serving size was better than anticipated. It was the southern style that makes your mouth water before ever eating a bite... I was full in mins. I'd definitely recommend this BBQ joint!

Lots of BBQ food. Lots of drinks. Lots of fun. They have typical American bbq cuisine. Its tasty and they give large portions. I love their sliders and the meaty mac & cheese. The staff is courteous. Sometimes you need to remind them about drinks and such. The place is tremendous and you can get lost in the shuffle sometimes. Great atmosphere inside and out. You're right on the Hudson river with spectacular views. 4 out of 5 stars because of parking. Anytime after 5 PM can leave you driving in circles looking for a spot.

Finally made it here, and can't wait to go back. Brisket was the best I ever had.

Not great and expensive. Ribs were over cooked and very dry. Slider burgers were over cooked and flavorless. I won't be returning.

Great great food. Plenty of drinks to choose from. I have rarely had a bad time here. A few times the waiting staff has been a little unprofessional and it's upsetting to see at a great restaurant.

Delicious food. DJ was great but the live band was disappointing. Check who is playing before heading out for a night of dancing.

Service: Service was timely, accurate, professional and friendly.

Food: Amazing, large portions, made to perfection. The mac and cheese was delicious. The brisket was soft and tender. There was enough sauce for the flavors to balance.

Drinks: were phenomenal.

Music: line dancing and Latin dancing. All ages and races coming together to enjoy the human experience.

Recommend stopping here as one of the Hudson Valley's golden treasures. It really is a beautiful WOW experience. I have been going here for 7 years.

I was impressed with the food... much better than I expected!!

Nice place with river views that you can touch the water...food is decent and lots of tv's and great bar and great for a social get together..

You'll go there for the view, then realize when you left, that's all you got. Obviously no management exists. They didn't care if I was happy or not. And I was not.

One of the best smoked meat restaurants I have been to. I have yet to have a bad experience or meal here. The staff has also been very friendly Everytime. The views are great and also have live bands on the weekend's.

The nachos were to die for! The staff was friendly and even during an extremely busy period they accommodated our latmrge party in way less time than was stated!!
