Great food at wonderful prices!! Service was excellent & restaurant was very clean!!!
Can't ask for much more!!!

Love the food but the service is not acceptable. My office gets food to go once or twice a week but after having continuous rude check out experiences and being treated as bothersome for spending our money at their establishment, we will no longer be ordering food here. Their service at check out today just cost them weekly business from a total of 7 food lovers.

I have never had a bad meal at BB's. The food is tasty and portions are generous. The staff is friendly and attentive.

Great classic diner atmosphere and food in Winston. Waitstaff was nice and curteous. Made you feel like a repeat customer even though it was our first time. Griddle cooked burgers give that salty crispy texture and taste. Awesome ice cream options. Great place for kids as they can draw on the walls with dry erase markers.

Place is decorated beautifully , great staff but food could have been better my fish was kinda cold when I got it and didn't taste that well...

Throw back diner hits the spot. Clean. Friendly staff. Kids allowed to write on the walls. Decorated with vintage articles. Great place to stop for a quick bite.

The food made me and my wife as sick as could be. The food was dry as a bone and the paper they put in the baskets smelled like mildew.

This is a great place to eat if you looking for some good down south food.

My last two visits there were wrought with very slow service and inattentive staff. They were closed for awhile, but now are having a "Grand Opening". I hope their service returns to what it was when Bobbi was there. I'll check out their parking lot for cars over the next week or so. If it's full, I'll give them another chance.

Great food and decent service. Love the omelettes, corn beef hash and biscuits. Gets a little busy on the weekends and service suffers. But all around consistently good

Usually go there once or twice a month for breakfast meeting. They open at 7am, so you can grab breakfast before work. They have a lot of regulars and I think a lot of police officers meet there at the end/beginning of their shifts. The food is good and the staff is nice. They treat you like family and give you grief when necessary. The atmosphere is fun and I always enjoy.

The lady working was very nice, but my food came out under cooked. The people I came with food was also undercooked. Drinks were good and the fries were good to. But that's about it, no one funded the food. I thought this would be better, I wish I could say it was. But I'm not coming to eat here anymore. I really do hate to leave a bad review.

Good food, good service, good prices. They seem to excel at breakfast! That or it could be that's all I usually want when I visit!

Billy Bob's has great food and a nice atmosphere. The breakfast menu has a lot of variety. The food is delicious and the wait staff is polite.

Customer service could have been better and my omelet wasn't done.

Crazy slow service ! The restaurant was half empty yet our server barely remembered to refill our drinks. Slow service except for when we left, I forgot my to-go container and they immediately threw it out! Two minutes down the road I came back and gone! The food was good but the service left a bad taste in our mouths.

He got a hot dog meal and to add a dog it's only 1$!!! They even saute the onion to top the dogs. I got a veggie plate because everything sounded amazing, huge onion rings, crispy sweet potato fries, Cesar salad had the perfect amount of dressing, fruit were fresh with a good mix, seasonal of watermelon, cantaloupe, strawberries, pineapple. We drove passed all the time and finally decided to stop by. Highly impressed with their friendly service and their prices were GREAT! Cesar salad with salmon for 8$?! Definitely recommend this to everyone.

We stopped for dessert and coffee and upon walking in the door, the smell of sewer and bathrooms was so overwhelming we immediately left. Conversation was also overheard by staff to other customers regarding the smell.

The service and food here is very good. I always stop for breakfast when I am in town.

Try the fish tacos!! They should offer a discount to bowlers! We came over before our bowling lane became available! Could get folks to come in before bowling and save on the expensive bowling alley food! Their pizza was not great!

Was not pleased with service. My coffee went empty 3 times. I had to flag waitress down. The bad part about it was they were not even busy

This place is fantastic. The diner food is good and has a great price. Breakfast and coffee are available all day, and staff are always friendly! We had a bday party for our three year old and everything went amazing. Highly recommended!

The vintage 1950's look is incredible. It's easily the best part of the experience. The coleslaw and mac'ncheese were below average but the burger and chicken tenders were quite good. The prices are similar to other restaurants in Winston-salem and they even have coloring pages and crayons for everyone. It wasn't perfect but I highly recommend it and would go there again if I had the chance.

Service was great. We had a large group and the wait staff was patient and attentive. The food was ehh. Two persons had to return their meals because of undercooked beef and chicken.

We didn't order anything crazy but it took 30 minutes to get our food. That may not seem like much but when you have young children 30 minutes feels like hours. No one apologized for the wait. The waitress forgot my kids drink refills after they asked so that was another 10 minutes or so. The food was fine. Maybe they were short staffed across the board this Saturday evening or something, but I wouldn't go back if this is the norm. I just ended up leaving feeling annoyed.

The milkshakes are always great. Service was good, unfortunately the food has really gone downhill since the last time I'd been there. My entire plate was burned to the point it was almost inedible and cold.

Seating is uncomfortable, some tables even wobble. Service is abrupt, borderline rude. Food was okay, has a homemade feel, but 3 out of 5 orders were wrong.

It is fine for breakfast, never tried any other meals there.

Food was very good. Service started out sketchy. We waited at least 10 minutes before we had to go to the hostess stand to find our server. The young lady who waited on us was excellent. I wish I could remember her name. We had 7 people at our table and everyone left happy. And full.

We drove by here our first night and when I googled it, it didn t have the best reviews. We decided to give it a shot and boy were we glad we did. They had a few vegetarian options which was nice and all the sides were great. The grilled chicken was awesome and the diner was spotless. It was so fun! Felt like stepping back in time. Service was awesome and well. We didn t have dessert but may go back for it later!

Took my family there for dinner. My 7 yo son was craving a grilled cheese and he loves the grilled cheese there. We arrived shortly before 8pm and we were greeted at the door and turned away due to the kitchen closing early. Posted business hours are until 9pm that particular day so we were rightfully disappointed. It's not like we showed up 5 mins before closing and asking for a table for 20. We were 3 people expecting a nice evening it for a nice meal. Needless to say we were not happy to be turned away over an hour before closing time without any information other than, "kitchen's closed, sorry" Otherwise they serve decent food at decent prices when you're not turned away.

There was a sewer line that busted while werr there to eat and the smell was horrible. Couldn't finish our food. They should have closed until the problem was resolved.

This is a great restaurant and the food is amazing!!!! Absolutely wonderful staff!!! Always attentive and they get the job done right!!! Great for kids since they can color on the walls!!!!! Check the place out if you haven't done so yet, you WON'T be disappointed!!!!

My family loves this place. It has the charm of an old school 50s diner with a talented wait staff to back it up.

The food is also better than the stereotypical diner. If you are a pancake lover you won't be disappoinged. If you're looking for something a bit more hearty, the meatloaf is killer.

A very good place for lunch or dinner, but my favorite is Sunday brunch with the best Eggs Benedict anywhere!!

Found Billy Bobs via a web search. EXCELLENT CHOICE! ! Robert was our server, stayed on top of things! Even when my wife's order was wrong he IMMEDIATELY took care of it.

We eat their for breakfast at least once a month for over the two past years and have not had a bad experience. The food is served hot, coffee is good, and French toast is excellent. Service has always been good!

The hostess slammed the menus down on the table to start off our breakfast visit. It was not busy but our waitress came over for our drink and food order, someone else finally brought it out(after a good 20 minutes), then the waitress drops off the check. The waffle was not warm enough to melt the butter, my French toast was barely warm and the 2 eggs must have come from pigeons,the serving size was so small. This place used to be good but I won't go back.

This is a great place for lunch or dinner if you like homestyle food. I had a cheeseburger and it was a hand pattied large burger with great flavor, and much better than fast food.

The manager asks people to leave and pay bill. And people who complain are rude and tell lies. That is what the manager said. WE yelled at her we want compensation. For the rude waitress/hostess. She finally said we get a free beverage. The hostess and waitress same behavior. They not volunteer to wait on females and had to ask them to wait on them,talk back rude,rush to get rid of, yell and interrupt, walk away from us while talking to them. They not come back sometimes. And both left in the middle of wait on us. And not come back. The waitress not want to write down the order. We ask her to do her job. Gave food and ask if want anything more to eat. We got 3/4 ice in our drinks. We had to ask the waitress to correct it. We not order it. She left. and not come back. We spoke to the manager. Then she ask the same waitress to come back. She got angry that not a tip.

Although we had to wait for our food (its Sunday around lunch), the food was great! Pancakes were fluffy and buttery, Bacon was crisp without being burnt, and the biscuits and gravy were classic and tasty. Coffee had a great taste, and the friendly staff made sure our mugs were always full! Overall, definitely a great diner to stop by if you're looking for a nostalgic dining experience.

Billy Bobs.....we are sorry to hear you are closing for good! My daughter has grown to consider BB's her favorite restaurant since she was about 7. Now has her permit to drive , license soon, we will miss the great food, service, atmosphere, and friendly friends/ employees. GoodBye Billy Bob's!
