Illegal inquiry done without permission , phones lines that never get answered , the line your supposed to dial hangs up after telling it not a working number , I hate to inform you folks defamation of character is a crime , running credit without consent is also a crime , if someone does not answer today , my lawyer will answer and then you legal department will but then it will be for damages .

I have not been able to see or access or use my cash back rewards. When I call in they say they can t tell me or apply them to my balance and also say I have to wait for someone to call me back. I ve called in on this issue twice in 8 weeks and no one will call me back!! I have asked to get a check sent to me for my cash back rewards. I have asked them to apply it to my balance . They will not do it. I keep going round and round with calls. The login website says there are technical difficulties and I can t access rewards EVERY TIME I TRY TO ACCESS and no one will help me. I am totally fed up with this card and company and I strongly suggest that no one should ever get this card. Terrible customer service becuase totally unhelpful.

BEWARE IF YOU'RE A VICTIM OF IDENTITY THEFT LIKE ME. PAYPAL CREDIT WON'T BELIEVE OR HELP YOU!!! My information was compromised because of the Equifax data breach and a thief used that information to open a PayPal Credit line in my name. I contacted PayPal immediately and provided thorough information, to include that the e-mail address and phone number on the account were not mine and traced to VT, not MD. I was assured they'd close the account and do a thorough investigation. Needless to say I called back 2 days later for some additional information needed for the police report only to be told they'd denied my fraud claim. Their reasoning - all of the account information "matched up." NO, it doesn't! Of course some of it did because my information was stolen!!! I will pursue other avenues to get the matter resolved. P.S. I would have given ZERO stars for the rating, which PayPal Credit deserves, but comments won't post without at least selecting at least one.

Apparently PayPal thought it was okay to open a line of credit without me ever signing up for it, and then close it for inactivity and give my credit score a hit of 60 points. Even when I called them and explained to them I never opened any line of credit or approved it, they refused to do anything about it, and the parent bank they sold the accounts to also refuses to do anything about it. I even filed fraud disputes with major credit reporting agencies, and they are ALSO refusing to do anything about it. So beware, PayPal will just open lines of credit in your name and then close them and destroy your credit and there's nothing you can do. There are hundreds (if not thousands) of complaints about this all over the internet, so I will be waiting patiently for the class action lawsuit.

Absolutely horrific. They do not have their customers backs AT ALL. You cannot talk to a human being- I've been trying for 5 months now.

My rights against platforms such as Paypal are, at best, Bill of Rights. If platforms such as Paypal aren t accountable to me,why am I encouraging Paypal to assume so much practical control over my speech. Letter sent to President/CEO cc cc cc cc cc cc

So first off when i switched my Bill Me Later to Paypal Credit it has been only a nightmare ever since. First off I cannot even logon to my account because of a problem on their end called Too Many Redirect Loops. So when I try to go to their site I cannot access anything. So what happened was one month I missed a payment because before I knew about this issue I thought I would go on their site to make the payment. I went on after they were already closed so I could not call anyone. I assumed I could just make a payment online later in the day. So since I was late because of that I sent them a check to make my account current. So when I sent the check at the time I had no idea they have two different departments... No one ever told me they had two different departments or else I would of never sent my check to them. So how am I suppose to know that what am I suppose to be psychic? So of course even tho I wrote down all the write information for my other account they ended up applying it to the wrong account. I did not find this out until I received a debt collect statement in the mail. All this time I thought I was fine and my account was current. The messed up thing is they are saying that I owe a minimum of $348 even tho my account is only over by $142. This is so wrong they are trying to charge me fees for their error that is not my fault. Of course if I would of known my account was not current I would of just payed over the phone. So I called Paypal multiple times to try to fix this issue and straight up they are acting like I am the one to blame for their mishap. They said "There was nothing they can do to fix this issue". So pretty much they are saying that they cannot even help me with something that should be fixed. Thanks for no help at all.... Bill Me Later has turned into a nightmare for me they have made so much money from me and because of their errors I now have to pay even more then I owe to a debt collector. They treated me like a piece of dirt and will not even attempt to help resolve my issue this how they treat someone that has been using their service for years and I have never missed a payment before.

When did PayPal go illegal? My son got a bill in August of 2018 for $657.31. He is slightly mentally challenged but when it comes to $$ he watches his like a hawk. He called Paypal he has had an account for a while, no problems. When he called about this charge to say this was not his charges they argued with him. The said yes you did. He would never do this. On top of that nothing has been delivered to our house. Nothing! But they will not tell him or send him an itemized bill. Why would we pay for something that they wont let us see? My son got irratated and the customer service person reacted with "You will pay this but you will never have access to PayPal for the rest of your life!" And hung up!
So we received the latest bill that is now $756.04. So I called. The auto. Dialer would not accept his last 4 S.S.# or his birthdate, was sent to customer service. To make a long story short...by the time I got off the phone I had learned they have a different phone # AND a different Soc.Sec. # associated with the account, still refuse to give us a list of ordered items, and said "We can trac your computer id.!" And hung up on me!!!grrrr. This huge company must go down!! I have a charge on my account for $100 for a gift card to Victoria Secrets that I did not order. Wont give my money back either ....

VENMO - 13659963 / 13707122 My acct is denied w/ verifiable transactions and I was not assisted at all. I have had Venmo for years with never an issue. This is the acct 90% of my transactions are made with and was offered no help to unlock it. I spoke with several reps and submitted several emails and spoke with a supervisor who simply all read the same message and nothing else. Disgusted. I hope no one goes through what I went through. 12/9/19

I was there for business not personal reasons but Mr. John ( the man in charge) was awesome to work for. I use PayPal for all online shopping because they are the most trust worthy.

Called the number, pressed 2 for unauthorized inquiry and it hangs up, I called again. Press 3 to leave a message. It then just starts the main menu over again! They checked my credit and a hard hit I might add and I did no such thing! I can t even get them to pick up the phone but not your problem right? Terrible service.

Utterly unsupportive and unreasonable. PayPal refuses to be a part of the problem, which they created, and refuse to be capable of fixing, "as it's part of the system", which they built (ie: someone at PayPal is responsible for the poorly built system and someone can fix it and needs to).

I will not and cannot do business with PayPal after having to write off losses because of PayPal. They are a payment processor, which means they are responsible for the payment from end to end, the communications about said transaction, and how said transaction process are entirely PayPal's responsibility, and they're failing on all 3 of those fronts. PayPal, you failed at your only job - process payments.

Update: after PayPal ignored my payment default in lieu of another corporations payment preference (which did not match my own payment preference), I have put up a digital firewall of sorts on my bank accounts preventing PayPal from accessing funds which they do not have my permission to access. PayPal then retaliated by removing my bank account, from my account, without my consent, forcing me back through their stupid linking process. PayPal, stop doing things which your customer has not asked you to do (removing my bank account was childish as best - it's been in use for a while, so this is not some security feature, or it is a very poor attempt at one). PayPal, you need to put your customers preferences first (period, end of conversation).

As for Synchrony Bank - the financial institution behind PayPal Credit, their practices are morally questionable, and should be borderline illegal or flat our against the law (if you ask me), and this "credit card" is not a "card" at all, it is a line of credit, with which one can use instead of one's PayPal balance - almost any physical credit card is better than this pile of garbage, which is ONLY accepted where PayPal is... So, if you want... Say Groceries, or to buy from someplace reputable, say Amazon - you're out of luck.

I used to love PayPal - I'm now looking into switching everything over to square, to get away from the nightmare that is doing business with PayPal.

Customer service is terrible. Departments do not communicate with each other. Try another payment processor.

wrost credit company ever. I paid off the balanceand they told me it's successful payment. Then they somehow reversed payment and charges me huge amount interest without any letter or a phone call. After I filed BBB complain they started to send me letters but still can't get my money back. Just bunch of scammers here.

Never never never make paypal account they are scam let me tell true 100 % about my story there term and policy very strict about selling the product on ebay or other websites , i was selling sex pills those was natural sex pills it was over the counter when the transaction goes through i got email next day my account are limitations and my balance was held up to 180 days , let me tell you i got call from paypal that they fined me $ 25000.00 for violation of there policy that radicals just for $39.99 transaction fine $ 25000.00.

They deliver exactly what they advertise, the convenience of more time to pay. As with all unsecured credit issuers, if worked within the detailed lender/borrower parameters given, INTEREST CHARGES, LATE FEES, AND PENALTIES CAN BE AVOIDED. I am a small business owner. I do not work for PPC. I have been using this vehicle for over 2 years now....with ZERO ISSUES!!

They have horrible customer service I have been hung up on and lied to. They prepay then take the money out of your accont then triple charge you

am regreting why i had to use papypal for my transactions and right now am working on clearing their credit and close the account.am so dissappointed with them .it all started when my daughter made a transaction unauthorised ,immediately i cancelled it .I talked to the seller and they refunded my money but guess what paypal has refused to credit my account inspite of the fact that they got the money from my account.why wd some oe own your money fot no good reason ???? i wanted to use that money for my birthday and i couldnt becoz they are holding it. i wish i coulf give them a zeroooooo.

I was scammed by this person posing as a company and charge me 4 times...paypal turns around and says 1 charge is covered but the other 3 charges are not covered by the paypal protection.....I don't understand...they were all fraudulent from the same person and it said the same thing except that the 3 transactions that were denied were large and the 1 that was approved was small....I smell a Scam......im going to my bank tomorrow.....STAY FAR AWAY
