This place was a treasure trove of unexpected delight! We took a group of 20+ people, ages 5 to 75 and everyone enjoyed it. We started miniature golf and meandered for an hour after exploring the the sculptures, gardens and animals. We were surprised to find a firepit with marshmallows.
Overall a delightful experience well worth the drive and the money.

Fun afternoon, bring your patience, tough course. Spend your wait time to formulate a strategy and enjoy the sculptures. Sculptures are the obstacles on the course. There are other sculptures along the paths as well, some not obvious, my partner had to point some out. Plan on a couple hours.

We absolutely randomly pulled off the road to check this place out while on vacation. Just a little adventure when we saw the sign by the road. What an unexpected pleasure! Mini golf was a bit on the pricey side, I'd say, especially for only 14 holes. But it was a totally homemade, unique course unlike any I've ever played before. And the kids (7 and 8) had an absolute blast, and those of you with kids know what a big deal that is. Plus the kids got to feed the goats, which they thought was so cool! And although we didn't come for the sculpture garden and were a little too tired by that point in the day to explore it fully, we did walk around a little. It's enormous, totally unexpected and unique, bizarre in a totally fun way, and really relaxing to walk around. There was a great big garden to check out, and chickens and ducks in addition to the goats. We had a great time and would highly recommend stopping here!

Seriously a must see as well as a must do! Our family absolutely loved it so much. It's really awesome!!! We all cannot wait to go back. When the kids were arguing about who goes first we just took a moment to pay the adorable goats! Plus you can buy orange sodas and free range eggs all while taking in the beautiful sculpture gardens that are part of the course! If that's not enough already you get to roast some marshmallows with your fellows! That's free btw. I only hope they add on someday & offer season passes because I could do that all day!

Overall a pleasant place to spend time with kids and grandkids. A wooded area with some garden sculptures. If you're looking for competitive mini golf, sorry. The lumpy greens are not very forgiving.

This was a complete surprise. It's such a unique, impressive, and entertaining experience!! We were delighted to find out that it is a sculpture park in addition to the mini golf, and it's worth well beyond the money spent to see the art, which itself is part of the mini golf. Definitely take the time to visit! It's one of those things that make for great conversation later and plenty of fun picture opportunities!

This place is SOOO cool, with a super helpful staff that was so helpful to us on our visit. very unique in many ways. They have animals, like goats, pigs, chickens etc... This is also a sculpture garden with many sculptures to see. The mini golf is not expensive & is one of the most unique courses I've ever played & I've played some pretty unique courses in Myrtle Beach which is the mini golf capital with hundreds of courses. Would totally recommend anyone of any age try it out, you wont regret it! Bring cash no credit cards here

This place is so cool! Family fun and great for dates, art lovers, animal lovers and mini golf lovers! Most of the animals are all running free and so cute! I saw a big pig taking a nap and chickens and roosters coming up to me. They have goats too. They have horses and bulls behind fences and other animals. The golf courses are beautiful works of art. We stopped to play checkers and chess at some tables! They have ice cream to buy too, u can also bring your own lunch or snacks and have a picnic somewhere in the field or at a table.

Big Stone Mini Golf is known for its clever artistic holes and unique sculpture trail. After a 14 hole round of mini golf free to enjoy the beautiful Big Stone Sculpture Garden. These gardens display unique sculptures throughout the grounds of rolling hills, organic gardens, life size games, picnic areas, party spaces, ponds, and an open pasture that also serves as home to a variety of grazing animals.

Hidden gem. Amazingly designed minigolf course. The statues and landscaping is really cool. Greens aren't what you would find at a "professional" minigolf place but the setting and surroundings is what makes this place great. The holes are fun and challenging. Kids still love it though. There are even farm animals to see.

Always a fun time. Generally $10 for adults and $9 for kids. Sculptures are fun too and the staff is consistently super friendly. The only downside is they are cash or check only, no credit cards accepted.

Most holes are not wheelchair accessible but i don't know many in the cities that are.

This is the MOST WONDERFUL, CREATIVE and CHARMING mini-golf course venue I've ever played. And I'm a 68 yr old kid. You owe it to yourself to give it a go. I believe everyone who makes a putt there will thoroughly enjoy the experience. It is simply THE BEST!!!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE This place!!! It's my very favorite place to go in the summer and always makes for good memories. The mini golf course is very unique and has been incorporated with hand crafted sculptures. There are so many animals on the grounds to meet and goats to feed. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is friendly. Would recommend for children and adults alike, it has something for everyone.

So fun for adults and kids of all ages! I hadn't been for about two years and I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had added a TON more sculptures and picnic spaces! Come to golf, but plan to spend the day, pack a lunch. There is a giant chess set, 2 checker boards, a shuffleboard table, baggs, ping pong, bocce, just to name a few. Lots of land and sculptures to explore AND some adorable farm animals too! My 14 year old said it would be a fun place to take a date someday!

A pleasant surprise tucked away in the woods! This place was recommended to us by an employee at Maynard's on Minnetonka. Driving there we were a little concerned that we may not be in the right place because seemed like we were out in the country but once we arrived we were impressed. It has lots of cool sculptures and was different than anything we've ever seen. All I can say is it was worth the drive and it was a fun adventure!

Low-key, creative fun! Play a casual game of mini-golf while you contemplate modern art; stop to roast a marshmallow in the circle of a mini Stonehenge, browse the sculpture garden and watch the farm animals graze. It's a great place to get together with friends or family, rain or shine.

If these were 'normal' times, I would actually rate Big Stone five stars. I was so impressed with not only the fun mini golf course, but the unexpected amount of animals, sculptures, games - it was a lot to take in and definitely worth $12 (kids 8 and an under are $10).

This was the first real outing my son and I have taken to a public place other than a grocery store or park, but I read online they had a strict mask policy, and were carefully sanitizing everything. The problem was, no staff actually walked around the course (where people are fairly close proximity) to enforce the mask rule. Approximately 30% of the people on the course at any given time had their masks off, only covering their mouth, or in their pocket. For this alone - I would not recommend going to Big Stone during the pandemic.

Every hole has cool sculptures and variety, very fun mini golf course. Also when you finish you have the chance to wander around and look at all the cool sculptures and creations behind the courses which include wooden ships and stone henge-like sculptures. Combined with this there are also some goats. The goats really top off the experience.
