Big Ridge Media Review

One of my favorites in the area! Servings are huge for the price and the food is delicious as well! The ambience of the place is awesome and very comfortable as well! Never had bad service as well! A must visit in the area whether its just for a date or a big group! Keep up the good work!

Ordered the savoury mushroom pizza. It was much better than anticipated. Server was quite friendly too.

Good beer (not just IPA's) and atmosphere (rustic industrial?), fantastic food (menu is enormous), great staff (quick, helpful and humorous).

Food was really good (rocket chicken) and nice selection of their own brewed beer. Service was good & the only thing that could have been better was larger TV's (mind you we weren't watching any sports so didn't matter to us, bit happened to notice it).

Love this place, really friendly staff and they always ask to try new flavors when I refill my growler, keep it up.

It was..ok I guess. Table was dirty upon arrival, I had to clear it myself. The food wasn't anything special and the server was young and inexperienced. Would I recommend it to others...probably not.

Go for the daily specials. Wok Wednesday highly recommended

Beer is great too! LOVE the grilled prawn clubhouse, it's the most well balanced club I've ever had!

This review is an ode to the "Brewery" under strip mall glare. Not sure if the $15 measly burger and salad came from the A&W around the corner but the term brewery has certainly been applied very loosely to mean a place that vaguely serves beer which was oddly hard to obtain. There's an expression about not being able to organise a party in a brewery so it is perhaps with some foresight that management decided to skip the brewery part after all.

Good service and one of the best lagers I've had. Quality menu to satisfiy the pub pallet.

Great food and friendly service. I recommend the spicy green beans, Shanghai noodles, chicken chow mein, the pizza is decent, and of course tasty craft beer with rotating flavours

Lucas was an amazing server, very helpful and friendly!

Both dishes were fantastic and I recommend both!

Hostess never made server/bartender aware we seated so we waited over 5 minutes for initial service . Ordered fish and chips and the fish was not drained properly after being fried so the batter got soggy due to oil on the plate .

I really like the pub and restaurants ambiance. The IPA is excellent.
But the menu needs a complete overhaul.
The food is average at best. The menu holds nothing creative or memorable for the palate.
I would go more often if the food was better.
I want to be a fan but they make it a bit hard for me.

Great for family dining or pub night with friends. There's a restaurant side with a patio (no view though) and pub side with pool table. Amazing food! Love their wings!

The pub was set up covid friendly, the waitress's service was excellent, definitely worth going to!

Nice place, burger was okay but pricy for what you get.

We went for dinner here and had the backyard burgers and they were absolutely delicious you better have a good appetite when you go people because it's a generous portion and the service was excellent.

Really liked the size of my salad and the price was good too. it said it came with roasted beets but I didn't have any on my salad so that was disappointing.

I had a great birthday dinner at Big Ridge Brewing. Our server, Lucas, was fantastic, super friendly, funny and very attentive to our needs. He even managed to find out from my partner that it was my birthday on the DL, but also didn't sing because I didn't want that haha. The food was great, the drinks were yummy and we had a really great experience.

Great pub! First visit was last Sunday. Food was delicious and served fast. We had the calamari... Definitely go back. Pints were reasonable @ $5 too...

First time here was very busy. Good pub food. Prices were a bit much but nice atmosphere.

We had fantastic time at Big ridge, food was delicious, plenty of options to choose from food and drink menu. Also, Big shout out to our server Lucas, he was spectacular!!! Attentive, knowledgeable and SUPER FUNNY!!! Going back there again even to receive his service is a must! Thank you again for making our night amazing!

Big Ridge is a category of restaurants that shouldn t get into making dishes like ethnic food, just for the sake of making a dish for their menu. Their Burger & Fries, Wings, Nachos are amazing, get into stuff like Singapore Night Market Noodles (Tasteless, spiceless, no salt), Indian Dish; let s put it this way, had to go over to Spice Kings Across the Street Just to get the taste back.

Waste of money & time

Surrey has limited options and this is a good choice to avoid the typical Cactus Club, Browns, etc. Their craft beer is solid and the prawn club was delicious.

I was expecting typical pub food, but the food was really good! Great lively atmosphere, good food and their beer is awesome. Try the fried pickles!

Great food and service, and lots of vegetarian options too! My boyfriend likes the Monday burger and beer special, it's a pretty good deal.

This place has amazing food and drinks. Great atmosphere and our server Lucas was exceptional. Came for a a birthday party and Lucas was very accommodating and one of the greatest service I've ever had.

Spacious yet somewhat cozy. Attentive service. Prices relatively reasonable. Decent bathroom.

It's a shame, because some of your beer is really well made. However, your service has gone downhill. Are you paying your management a fixed salary? If so, you should consider making it a profit-share contract instead. Your management doesn't appear to care if the food is up to quality standards. Also, getting served in a timely manner seems to happen according to the whims of your staff.

Some days we get served quickly, others we wait for over 10 minutes before someone comes to take our first beer order (and this is on days where there are few customers -- no excuse.) Second beer order also can take a good 10-15 minutes of us sitting over empty glasses.

Service was just horrible, place was empty and still took well over 20 minutes to get our drinks, then proceeds to spill on the table and left us with the mess, epic voyage to try an d track down somebody to clean. Horrible job at that even , cleaned up theyre mess ourselves. Dont even get me started on how difficult it was to find a spoon, was basically self service in an completely empty restuarant.

Big Ridge is all about Wok Wednesday where all their asian-style dishes are discounted. The chicken fried noodles can feed a family. The food is only okay but it's good value. Spring for the deep fried squid but make sure you ask for sweet chili sauce on the side.

Great food and great service. Atmosphere is always chill. The pub side can get noisy on the weekend and is tones of fun.

The beer is fine but they need to step up their food game. It's been my second visit and second dissappointment

Horrible. Not what it used to be. Forgot our menus 3 times and was too busy taking payments from 2 other tables. Took forever to get out drinks and then forgot our straws for our ceaser so we waited again. Food sucked. I would only give it 1 star for their garlic spicy squid (the only thing worth paying for on the menu).

Excellent place to have a birthday party. Good food, great service, under 18 allowed until 8 pm. Perfect for families and mixed groups. Waitress was great. Food was tasty. Nice venue.

I think it was a pretty good first experience. It's very nice inside and very clean. Our waitress was super friendly and had a great sense of humor!

They have a wall decorated with beer cans and big growlers - it looks very cool! They refill your growlers here too, so you save money when you do that.

We didnt have any of the beers so I can't comment on them but the food was pretty good. I got a beef Curry, it was good. Lots of veggies in it and not enough meat though. My husband had the chicken Chow Mein it was a massive serving and tasted very nice, it had a hint of sweetness to it.

The bar is a go to for a quick beer with a friend. Wouldn't go there to meet new people but overall can't complain. Daily food specials are good too

I would have given this place a zero but there's was no option to.Went to have dinner on a Sunday night waited 1 1/2 hours to get the food I almost walked out but as I was zipping up my jacket and then the food came, so I sat back down to enjoy my burger and fries and my 152 lager. Burger was burnt so bad that it was left on the grill the whole time I was waiting and my fries were still frozen and the little silver portion cup what they use to serve you ketchup in was Sriracha sauce in stead.
What the hell I thought I was on a hidden prank show because no one can screw up this bad. No visit from the manager to my table to apologise for the uneatable food.
Had to go to the A&W next door and wishing I had that 2 hours of my life back.

Busy place. Nice atmosphere. Two piece fish and chips would have been closer to being worth the overpriced $21 if the fish was not dripping with grease biting into it and fries looked and tasted like they were fresh out of a frozen food bag

I've only ever come here on Wednesday for their $13 Asian menu and I absolutely love it! Favourite dish hands down is the Chicken chow mein, I could survive on that dish alone. Will keep coming here as long as that deal keeps existing!

Food is always tasty and staff is always friendly. Their patio is an excellent, and so is their grapefruit radler.

I had the pulled pork for dinner. Amazing. But get it without the salted bun. Not that it's bad with a salted bun, but I lose the flavour from the pulled pork.

Parking is terrible, no ciders on tap, not many beers other than their own on tap. Location is right between two major roads and just not the best.

Just loved this place! Their beer is delicious and damn near perfect, prices are reasonable, their food is tasty and their establishment is fun, well decorated and spacious.

Always awesome! The one thing that stood out was our server. She definitely understands, what I believe to be, the lost art of customer service! It's been a long time since I've given a 20% tip and she certainly deserved it.

I drive out from langley all the time for their chow mein. would be amazing if they started making it the old way though. More saucy and with cashews

Great quality service. The server was very kind and friendly. Food was well cooked with no issues. Price wasn't too bad for my liking. I would attend again in the near future.
