Best sushi in fairlawn and surrounding area... Their rice isnt mushy and doesnt have way too much. Also the rolls arent sliced way too big like most places where you contemplate cutting the roll in have. Also they have a sushi happy hour from like 430 to 6 and the regular rolls are half off... But i got a secret il let you in on ... Secret works for lunch and dinner the regular macki lunch or dinner combo... I forget the exact name but ul see what i mean... You get 2 rolls soup and salad. For 10 and an extra roll for 3 more... So it's basically the same as happy hour... They also have one for 22 that is 4 rolls 2 soups and 2 salads!!

Your typical sushi place. Had the basic sushi roll offerings and menu otherwise. It's a clean restaurant but the tables were a little close together for us. Overall an ok experience, but we prefer other sushi places nearby.

Best sushi place ever been coming to this restaurant for 15 years. I started by always ordering the ramen and slowly tried other things over the years (the Fire Maki is incredible) and I've never been disappointed with the food or service. The staff is top noche everyone is always so friendly and inviting this place is my home away from home you wont be disappointed if you come here to dine.

Although I've had plenty of sushi in my life, this is the first actual sushi restaurant I've ever visited. With that being said, I thought everything was excellent!
The restaurant seemed very clean, and masks were required while walking around, and strongly encouraged when not eating.
My boyfriend and I each ordered two rolls, I'll edit to include the names of each roll once I remember.
We didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive, and everything tasted so fresh. We would definitely visit again.

I love this place, it's a little pricey, but if you come during happy hour you can save a bit of money. The atmosphere is super relaxed and the service is excellent, although a little slower when they are slammed, but they seem to run a smaller crew and are always polite and fast.
Their specials menu is also fantastic.

Always have a great experience visiting Big Eye! My entire family enjoys eating there, they have something for everyone. The chefs at Big Eye are true artists, and present beautiful food!

Waitress was great but food was bland and little flavor. Also I had the eel and cucumber roll and I got a small bone stuck in my gum between my teeth. They need to clean and debone the fish better will not be returning.

This place is a hidden gem located behind Rite Aid. The menu has a wide variety of sushi rolls and other Japanese dishes. I usually get the small maki lunch meal which includes soup, salad, and your choice of two maki rolls for less than $10! If you re going for dinner, check out the special maki dinner for two. You get approx. 30 pieces of sushi plus soup and salad and it s only $28!

All I can say is WOW! Fast and friendly customer service. I truly came to try the sushi because of the reviews and I'm glad I did! The atmosphere is even relaxing with spa like music, open ventilation and the perfect lighting. The tables are spaced out for social distancing and everything was very clean. Highly recommend to check it out!

I love to have sushi in Big Eyes during happy hour which they tasted good and price is reasonable. However, in this labour day, I experienced something make us disappointed. I called last Thursday to make sure they have a happy hour sushi services on this Monday because it is Labour day. Someone who answer my call replied and confirmed that they have happy hour sushi services even though it is a public holiday. We are excited and drove 30 minutes there with a notice said NO HAPPY HOUR is offered today. We feel sad and misleading at this point.

The Sushi was fresh.I couldn't remember my favorite roll, but one of the servers was nice and went into my order history. Once she found it she called me back. Now that requires a 8 dollar tip for pick-up.

Best, and freshest sushi I have had in Ohio. Super affordable compared to other sushi places in the area. The tempura here is amazing. Sometimes the service can be a little slow, so I wouldn't go if you're in a rush. They only have Saki and beer, no liquor. The bathroom is large, but no changing table for babies/toddlers.

My first visit was about a month ago when a friend took me to lunch for my birthday. My dine in service was awesome, the waitress was super friendly and efficient. It didn't take me long to come back and order takeout. My takeout experience was just as nice. Erica was pleasant on the phone and genuinely sounded happy to take my order. The restaurant is organized and seems to take customer and employee safety during these times seriously. My order was correct and delicious. I will continue to support this business!

We really enjoyed our experience at Big Eye. This was the first time we had ever been and the service and the food was great. Our server was exceptionally good and very attentive. My son and his fiance got sushi and my wife and I ordered chicken teriyaki and drunken noodles with chicken. Everything was very good with great presentation. We highly recommend.

The ambience is good and the service is great. However, the food is way below expectation. The sushi and Tom yum soup were everything but what they supposed to be. The chef was very understanding which is a credit to the place.

Big Eye has fantastic sushi. We stopped in for a late lunch and we couldn't have been happier. The bento box I ordered, with sushi and tempura vegetables wes fantastic and plenty of food. We both especially love the sushi happy hour on weekday evenings.

This place used to be good. Old owner sold the place and now it s pretty terrible. Over one hour wait during half price sushi even if you come in right when it starts. There are only 2 guys making sushi. Service is horrible due to understaffing in that department as well. Quality of sushi is bland compared to what it once was. R.I.P. Big Eye. Go to Kintaro in Cleveland, much much better service, quality and price. Worth the drive.

This is my favourite place to eat when I get to pick where we go for dinner. Their dishes are reasonably priced and I typically visit during the times they have discount sushi. My favourite sushi roll to order is their tofu roll. As a vegan, I have no troubles finding something to eat at Big Eye. The waiters and waitresses are very kind, along with the chefs (if you eat at the bar). I definitely recommend this restaurant to sushi lovers and those who love Japanese cuisine!

One of our favorite places to go - sushi happy hour is literally one hour during the week from 5 PM - 6 PM but it's plenty of time to binge on amazing sushi and walk out feeling totally satisfied with only a $30 bill. We love the Boston roll and haven't been able to find anything comparable anywhere else.

I've known this place was here for years, and finally got around to going in. It's a cute little place. Sushi was excellent this visit. Price is competitive with other places in the area. It's diner style seating with a small sushi bar. Reminds me of the sushi places in Japan and Taiwan. Staff was nice. Service was quick. Fish was fresh.
