We stop here anytime we're in the area, the burgers are the BEST and so is everything else we've tried. The shakes are real ice cream and thick, the garlic fries are fantastic. The two hour drive is worth it.
The root beer is homemade and is really very good. You get free refills, so even though it is expensive ($2.50 about) you can drink a lot. The hamburgers were good, but overpriced. The same thing also goes with the sides. They don't have a combo option, so to get a burger, drink, and fries your are looking at at least $11, but depending on the burger it will be closer to $15-18. While the food is good, I don't think it is good enough to warrant such a high price. If I go back I would probably just get a root beer float and not try to eat a whole meal there.

Those fries are delicious, and they smell like ramen noodles in a good way. The fries are probably the best thing about this place between the flavor and also the quantity. The burgers are nice, too. Great staff!! Not only do they have burgers and awesome fries but they have all kinds of sandwiches in the best salads oh boy they're good!!! Love the Big A!! It's a regular lunch destination for many of us. You can even order in your car and they will bring it out to you just like an old-fashioned Drive-In it's awesome!!!!!
It's good food, just a little pricey. Definitely decent portions. Won't go away hungry.

The chicken caesar salad may have contained one or two pieces of chicken, but there was too much chopped lettuce for any man to ever know for sure. Also, the french fries were overzealously smothered in an orange-colored seasoning of some sort.

This place is great for the all American food we all know and love... Their burgers and sandwiches are all pretty awesome. And the service has always been great in my experience. But the best thing about Big A's is their homemade rootbeer! It's some of the creamiest rootbeer I've ever had! Then when you add some vanilla ice cream to the mix, you get one of the best floats around! If you have not been here, then it's a must!!
Best Old Fashion Burger and Fry Drive-in/Diner I've ever been too. Options include a large selection of Burgers, Dogs, Fries, Salads and Shakes + more! Options may seem slightly pricey but you definitely get your moneys worth. Inside has booth and bar seating available and I believe there are 6-8 drive in stalls out front. Outdoor benches w/ umbrellas also available. There's a rather small but still functional restroom around the backside of the building that you'll need to get the key for after you order. Friendly staff with excellent service, never have had any hassle their and food arrives in a timely manner. Would rate 10 stars if possible: love this place, atmosphere, and most of all the food. (Best ranch in town as well )

Got food to go yesterday. Order was wrong again. Older lady with blonde hair. I ordered a classic burger with sauce on side. I received someone's bacon burger loaded with mayo. When I called she said hey we get a hundred orders a day. What do you want to do. Liked the food but not going back. Other good burgers in town.

The 'ol Big A's. Hands down the best rootbear I have ever tried, they make it in house every day. Frosty mugs brimmed with sweet delicious rootbeer. Their corndogs are county fair winning worthy and their Big mouth burger will leave your jaw dropped with intimidation. A must try!

This place is a kick in the pants, a throwback to a by gone era. I get the Sonoran burger as a lettuce wrap and every bite is a blast of flavorful deliciousness.
Love the bacon bbq burger, its massive tho. The gummy bears with kids menu are awesome, the root beer is delicious, and even if u dont like root beer you should try it.

Pesto fries were delicious!!!! I just got the basic burger w/cheese, which was tasty and to top it off, I had a medium Black Cow(not a Big one). I will definitely go back to try the rest of the menu.
