We purchased a leather sectional from this store back in Febuary 2019 which in itself we had issues (delivery ended up scratching the sofa pretty severely on multiple corners) which they replaced with a new one 5 weeks later. The new sofa however had a malfunctioning zipper on the bottom of the sofa where the cover would not zip and simply hang down to the floor. We contacted BIF the day we received the 2nd sofa (May 20, 2019) and they said they will send out a repair technician to our house. May 24th we contacted them again since we heard nothing for 4 days and the Manager replied (via txt) he would check. No word again so we reached out on June 2nd, and they said they received the zipper head from the vendor and they would send the technician that following Thursday or Friday and he would confirm with us before they send the technician to us. June 11th the manager texted and asked if they can visit either on the 12th or 13th which we replied 13th. June 13th comes around and the "technicians" say they cannot fix the zipper. We contacted BIF again and this time they said they will send a "expert" to sew it up? I confronted the manager since we thought we waited 3 weeks for the so called "expert" who had a zipper from the manufacture but it turns out the individuals who came to our house were not specialized in the repair...Why would they send unqualified people to come try to fix our couch? skipping forward...We heard nothing from BIF so we contacted them again on June 21st asking for an update. Manager replied "I will let you know by next Monday. sorry for the delay". Monday comes no reply. We feel bad since we keep calling asking about our repair so we decide to give them some time to reach out to us instead of us constantly calling/texting them. Nothing so we finally reach back out July 27th..Manager replys back July 29th "sorry we will come this Thursday and attach new bottom fabric. Thursday or Friday, I will confirm this Wednesday for the date and time".
This was the last time we heard from BIF and I am writing this review December 9th 2019. 7 months after our initial complaint and still not resolved. We pretty much given up on the store to fix the sectional now that the return policy is no longer valid. OH I almost forgot..we found the same sectional online $2000 cheaper than what they charged us.
Take away notes. Overpriced furniture, lack of communication, and unfulfilled promises. I highly suggest looking elsewhere for furniture.
