Place: Nice! Very comfortable lobby, with cafes. Overall, very good presentation.

Rooms: Nice! Clean with air conditioning, cable TV, closet, spacious bathroom! All very well.

The only annoying thing is their staff, they can be rude to people who attend events.

Congratulations and recognition

Congratulations and recognition

My name is Sergio Tertusio and I stayed at your Marriott Tegucigalpa hotel on December 13 and 14, in room 815.
I am a Consultant and Teacher of ADEN. I am Argentine and I live in Panama.
I want to convey to you an event that happened and that because of the impact, I understand it necessary to express it.
At the time of dinner, on the 14th, I requested at the RestoBar that I should be recommended to eat and a meat cut was indicated (which was exquisite) and given the logical delay of a meat cut, I asked for a quick, quick recommendation. , to go eating and in that way waiting for the main course. I was recommended the tomato soup (which was also delicious) and I opted for that option. I was served the drink and from there began a delay of more than 35 minutes, without knowing anything about anything that happened with and in my food. Faced with this situation and without the action of the waiter, I turned to Mrs. Ana Alvarado (I think that's her name) to expose my dissatisfaction and request the cancellation of my request, because I was going to withdraw indignantly from the premises. I requested a last wait and almost instantly I return with the food, apologizing. She informed me that she was not going to charge me for the food and that she expected me to enjoy dinner. In addition to this surprise - very pleasant - from that moment was attentive to my situation and at the end of my meal brought me a carrot cake (delicious) to cover all the problems.
At the end of the meal, I asked him to bring me the bill, because I was going to pay for it and he asked me to accept not including the cake, that it was running around the house.
I'm not going to deny that despite the bad things that happened at the beginning, from what Ms Ana is, she took control of the situation, changed everything for the better and resolved a conflict in a way that I have never seen. In this regard I want to clarify that since 2003 I travel throughout Central America and America, with ADEN, and being in high-end hotels, during these 15 years, I have NEVER seen an attention and a resolution of a conflict in this way: it would be, professional, intellectual category and with high human sensitivity.
OBVIOUSLY I will not stop telling this story and RECOMMEND this Mrs. (and your hotel) to anyone who can, because this degree of resolution is not normal.
I congratulate you
But this did not end there. At the next breakfast, under the room and I meet this Mrs. in the breakfast area and she greeted me very kindly, consulting me what drink I would like to drink and before my consultation she recommended Moka. He asked me for a few minutes and while I was making my breakfast, he brought me an exquisite Moka, one of the best I've had in many years.
I would like you to convey the congratulations to Mrs. Ana Alvarado (she reiterated that I believe her name) and I am still surprised. I do not react yet, until I just said that I should write these lines.
I appreciate the attention to the present and reiterate again that I had not seen a level of attention and effective resolution, transforming a "detractor" that had turned me into a "faithful sponsor" as I am after this attention.
I remain at your total disposal, wishing you happy holidays and a great 2019.

I have a soft spot for this hotel. I was in Honduras in the spring of 2009, during the coup, and when we could not leave the country we returned to the Marriott and waited there to be allowed departure. In a country under curfew, the Marriott staff, who could not go home to be with their families because there was a curfew on, gave us exceptional service.

I returned several times and the hotel service has always been exceptional. The rooms are spacious and clean, it s pleasant and quiet.

Of course, it being Honduras, there are some problems from time to time (one time the water was off for the best part of the day, if my recollection is correct) but through it all, the personnel is proactive, professional and effective.

Why not five stars then? The lobby downstairs, with its sports bar, is a bit offputting. But in time they have made efforts to improve the ambiance and the food. It may not be your most beautiful hotel, but it is a very serious contender if you look for good service, reliability and consistency.

Pleasure or business trip, this is one of the top 5 hotels in town, right in the middle of Tegucigalpa.

Its has a upgraded gym, a small but relaxing and couzy pool, sauna and spa.

If you like night life just head to the main floor where every day its party time at shooters bar.

Rooms are well apointed with all the comfort you would expect from a 4 star hotel.

You will have no problem with transportation wheather you are using public, private or rented vehicles.

Only drawback is that they are building a massive goverment building just beside the hotel and its going to make trafic worse than it is and take a bit of privacy from the pool.

All i all its a top pick.

Nice

Well

Excellent.

Appalling. Appalling. Appalling. As it is possible...

Appalling. Appalling. Appalling. As it is possible that they now charge parking. In itself the food is bad and the attention leaves much to be desired, and with this it is in bad taste. And they do not even bill when you pay for parking.
