I come here regularly with my kids, they always have a good time. There are large play blocks to climb on, nice cuddly toys and a wide choice of books.

What struck me is the choice of self-service in the morning. I only come in the morning because of small children (1 and 3 years) and then it is a pity that there is no staff. For example, I wanted to apply for a pass for my 1 year old son, but that is not possible in the morning. That's too bad.

Reading a book is still a special experience: you delve into a silent story, where the film takes place in your head. You are not dependent on electricity or rechargeable batteries. The library has that book. Rest, a new story and being with yourself. But the library on the IJssel is of course completely up to date. E-books can also be rented, a CD, DVD or a book from the Koninklijke Bibliotheek in The Hague. With a full membership, this can be reserved in no time and can often be picked up in your own library after a week.
