In the heart of downtown Toronto. Easily accessible by ttc and not far from the union go station.
Great clean office space. And quite!
They can set up your office space in no time. There are also possibility of getting a shared desk in the common areas. Have meeting room that are easy to book through their app or website.

Beautiful layout, lots of comfortable places to work. Staff worked tirelessly to keep it clean and have fresh coffee and spa water (water with fresh fruit) available at all times. Gave a presentation here and the tools worked seamlessly.

WeWork is by far one of the best decisions I ve made as a business person. I wanted an office space but this place offers so much more. WeWork s best asset is the people and the environment it has created that encourages establishing and nurturing relationships. The staff is extremely friendly, competent and helpful. Jessica Bhola for example, has been nothing but exemplary in her work. Anytime I needed something she was there. She knows her stuff and makes it seem easy! Would reccomend to anyone who wants to maximize their reach for their dollar.

A beautiful space to work (and play)! Only a few days in, but already I've been able to get a lot done here.

- Lots of variety in terms of spaces hot desks, dedicated desks, private offices, lounge space, booths, large tables and little nooks
- Accessible location walking distance from public transit, food, entertainment and commerce.
- Open round the clock for us night owls, but still secure
- A vibe that's neither stuffy nor overly casual
- Very friendly, helpful staff (especially the folks who work insanely hard to keep the place spotless and make sure we have everything we need)
- Considered trimmings from the plants and decor to the fruit water and beer on tap

Some things I'm hoping to see in the future:
- A developing community vibe (this takes time, obviously)
- A move towards reusable cutlery/cups (will bring my own for now)
- Level up on the tea game (unrealistic expectations, but I'm available to consult!)

Fantastic co-working space for freelancers that is intersted in a hot desk or small companies. Everything is provided to you. Just bring your laptop and start getting work done. Great palce to network with other people for business and friends, even just to build your network of contacts for future projects. There are always events at the first floor to attend and network with other people. Highly recommened.

An amazing place to sit and write, brainstorm, or read. Beautifully curated space full of extremely talented people plugging away at their work. With an endless supply of coffee and beer you'll never run out of fuel. Every staff member I've had a run in with has been courteous and friendly. If you can't tell, I simply can't say enough positive things about this place, absolutely love it.

I toured the WeWork Richmond St. West building last week and had a very informative experience. It is clear that WeWork is going to make quite an impact here in Toronto. While there is still construction to be done, you can tell that the building is perfect for a WeWork - high ceilings, brick and beam, etc. Also, they had an iPad that showed me videos and photos of what the final product will look like which was great. Cannot wait to come back once the space is open and see the mix of people working in the building.

Pretty negative experience. The "tour guide", in quotes, because he was not interested in giving me a tour. Started by asking how much I am willing to pay. Then pressed me to sign a waiver before finishing to read it. He eventually did give a tour, but only after repeatedly discouraging me because of the construction. Why did I even come?

Things that could have went better:
1. Greet me kindly.
2. Ask me what I am looking for in a space, rather than how much I am willing to pay (what did this question even mean?)
3. Allowed me to sit down while I read the waiver and offered me a glass of water.
4. Not check his cellphone or Apple Watch during the tour, and if he must then to apologise for the interruption.
5. He never followed up with me regarding pricing information later. (Did he lose his phone?)

Normally I try not to spew vitriol in these reviews, but I feel like I have to. You employ somebody who does not represent your organisation well in a marketplace that is full of shared and dedicated office space. Or maybe he was just having a bad day.

I visited a friend here. There is a check-in desk on the main floor. You register, take a picture and enter the name of the person you're visiting. The main desk and elevator are down a set of 5 or 6 stairs. The main floor offers cofee, tea and snacks. There are small and large tables, small rooms for calls and chairs and couches. There is also a meditation room and showers. Does not offer a change table for babies.

WeWork is not a building, it is rather a tight knit community that works together and counts on one another for support, motivation, inspiration, dialogue, social interaction & allows us to express ourselves without fear of judgement. The energy at 240 Richmond St W, has allowed my business to grow tenfold since the first day I signed up. Being around the wonderful staff that goes above & beyond for their members & encourages an atmosphere where I LOOK forward to coming too. Not a lot of work places can boast about that, gladly I can. Thank you WeWork.

The whole place is about style over substance, looks over functionality. The rooms are cold during winter, the heating is grossly inadequate. Support is nonexistent. Yes, they will respond to your requests; yes, they will assure you everything will be done; no, they won't actually do anything. The cleaning staff locks the washrooms up "for service" at the most inconvenient times, and will also take stuff from your desk without permission. Don't seem to speak English, either.

Had a fantastic time getting the tour from these guys! Very welcoming and accommodating, and super excited about the vision for the space. The team was excellent, very responsive and organized, really looking forward to working with the company in the future and in the space itself.

I rented office space for 1+ years. It s a cool atmosphere and there are a lot of great neighbour offices, but I spotted rats running around on the hallways so many times. They sometimes chewed on my laptop cable which is super gross. I think you can find a better and clean shared office with a much cheaper price.

I toured the Richmond Street W. WeWork location back when it was still under construction and was instantly sold on securing space there. The staff who toured me around were super friendly and highly engaged in learning about me and the work my organization (Healthy Minds Canada) does. They also answered every single question I had.

The single biggest feature for us before moving in was having access to event space where we could host lunch and learns. But I quickly came to learn that the biggest benefit was feeding off of the energy and entrepreneurial mindset of all the tenants.

Sure, we had some issues along the way, but each one was resolved with promptness by the same friendly nature that we encountered on our preliminary tour. Recently, my organization was merged into another charity and we, as a staff, will be moving on. But I will be staying - opting to keep my membership so that I can access a "hotspot" desk. I'm convinced that the energy and enthusiasm and the vibe in general at WeWork can help keep me focused and motivated as I launch my own new project. In short, WeWork is simply the best!

It is downtown on Richmond and John. Place has a transitional look from a historical look to the office space. Place was overly crowded and its one elevator was having issues. Overall not a bad place to get a shared working space.

I don't recommend people hosting meetings in this wework location due to several reasons - frankly I liked most of the wework locations that I traveled to but unfortunately this one was an exception. I was in WeWork Richmond Street West today and in particular room 4C. There were several things different in this location than others: 1- staff don't want to escort guests to the conference room, so my clients waited there for a good 15 mins; 2- they ran out of power bars today and it will probably take them two days to order which never happened when I needed to borrow when I traveled to other locations. We have four three-day meetings in room 4C with 6 people in total and there was probably two reachable wall outlets with four plugins; I was informed that those power bars are all checked out by the hotdesks; 3- In 4C, room temperature was a bit out of control (78F) and the staff didn't bother coming upstairs to check it out - I complained about it twice. My employer rents offices in multiple wework locations and we always appreciate the quality of service provided by wework staff. I am still a fan of WeWork. But it was quite disappointing experience in this particular wework location; so I would definitely not recommend using WeWork Richmond Street West especially when you are travelling and planning to host meetings using their conference rooms here.
