A bistro adjoining a luxurious home decor store serving modern European cuisine, delicious bowls, healthy & mindful all day breakfast and modern plates with an Asian twist.
A place where scrumptious food meets luxurious art. The beautifully plated veggies freshly picked from a local farm go well with the beautiful aesthetics this place has to offer. The ambience is mood lifting with soulful music playing in the background. Their well trained staff are on their toes to give you an unforgettable experience.
We tried their sumac flavored foxtail millet breakfast pilaf on beetroot hash and instantly realized that healthy does not always mean boring. Their spinach stuffed chicken breast served with apple house salad makes you relish the best of both worlds (i.e., veg & non-veg) while their warm quinoa Buddha bowl will knock your taste buds off with it's tantalizing flavor.
Even though we're not huge fans of vegetarian dishes when we dine out but their chargrilled cauliflower marinated overnight with winter roast harvest spices, nuts and served with baby carrots on a bed of pumpkin mash changed our opinion and we happily scraped our plates till the last bite.
The bistro classic Korean rice bowl and black bean wild mushroom noodles from their Asian bowls segment are not to be missed.
We ended our meal with tiramisu which was toothsome but their Peanut butter cheesecake stole the show. We have never tasted a better peanut butter cheesecake and we might go back soon to stuff our faces with them.
Next time you go shopping near Sultanpur, do yourself a favor and stop by Beyond designs bistro for a quick bite and thank us later .
First off this is a Shop & a Bistro combined. This review is for the Bistro. We went for lunch. They serve a good range of healthy all data breakfast, sandwiches and a selection of Continental Asian dishes. We had Vietnamese yellow curry with pad thai. It was delicious. Desert was super as well: Caramel Custard. Food presentation is excellent and full marks to the kitchen team. Service is great - staff very attentive.
This is not a cheap place by any means I would say more on the expensive side. It's a Bistro so you could just stop by for a coffee. For a little distraction the store is worth a stroll - you won't be picking up anything unless your there specifically to buy big items.
We will return to the Bistro again for sure. Maybe next time for brunch. Bistro opens at 11 am, open 7 days.
In the midst of all flagship stores on MG Road - not many eating options are available. However the recently opened Beyond designs bistro - trys to combine the goodness of a bistro and a flagship store. With the modern European feel - the place offers local produce and incorporating healing ingredients in their menu. From millet, quinoa, kale, pear, asparagus - this place is all geared up to please the vegetarian palate for sure and non vegetarian need not be disappointed they have a large array of nom vegetarian options too. This time around we tried most of the vegetarian options and we could not have asked for more. Sumac flavoured foxtail millet breakfast pilaf on Beetroot hash, Winter pear salad with blanched Almonds and broccoli with light sesame dressing, Warm quinoa Buddha bowl, (My personal favourite) Winter roast harvest spices nuts and overnight marinated chargrilled cauliflower and baby carrots on a bed of pumpkin mash, Spinach stuffed chicken breast served with apple house salad, Bistro classic Korean rice bowl and Orange cilantro root flavoured sole fish served with kale and rocket salad grilled carrots and asparagus - for the non vegetarian in me. We could not resist ordering some desserts - 'coz why not and it turned out to be the best decision - Peanut butter Cheesecake (My Favourite) was amongst the best I have tasted recently and classic Tiramisu never disappoints. Overall it was a nice mix of familiar flavours mixed with modern European cuisine - each complimenting the other and enhancing the dish. Delicious!
To sum up my experience of beyond designs -- great cry and little wool.
I had been a big fan of their work and everytime I went to India Design over the years, I left in awe of their designs. I was excited when the time came to buy furniture for our living room. We told the staff of our requirements and they said they would customize some of their designs to our space and send it to us, for which they required details like size of the area, and some photos. They quoted a price of 28-32 lakhs and we decided to proceed. We promptly sent them the layout of our room and photos after which we recieved no response. On following up with them, they said they would send is customized designs in the form of a presentation. We agreed. We later recieved a presentation with pictures of the exact same designs we saw in the store, there was no customization what so ever. I would have had no issues had they said designing would be done after advance payment or charges for a presentation were separate. My issue lies in the fact that Beyond Designs PRETENDED to work on our project only to waste a week of our time and send us a presentation with no customization to our space. Why did they ask for our layout and pictures of our room? Still a big mystery. I am totally disappointed with the brand and that I held the founders/principal designers in such high regard for so many years.
