Woman that answered phone was very unprofessional and like I was bothering her and to take my complain somewhere else. Never will I call probation again cause that women don't let me talk to no one. I am a 60 yrs. disabled and on need of help from one of your clients

I called the above location this morning to find out who I needed to contact about a probation officer seeing all of her appointments late. I cannot tell you the name of the individual I spoke with, but what I can tell you is he hung up in my face after telling me it was acceptable for an individual who has an appointment to be left waiting two or more hours past their scheduled appointment time. So, I guess this mean if they have a job or other things scheduled, this can wait on the whim of an officer? Does being on probation also mean you have lost the right to be spoken to with courtesy and respect? I am not on probation but after seeing what these individuals go through, I am ashamed of the human race and how we treat each other.

A drab, revenue-oriented institution. If you ever end up here, you will wish that you were somewhere else(unless you work there). They have a big, fancy, new pee testing facility in the 3rd floor, so that they can try and push as many stoners though they system as possible(Placing them together with criminals).

No answers the phone after I call a million times, the probation officer never answers when I call. No one here cares about us, they just want to label you as a criminal and not help you. No one wants to help us.

I was on probation for a total of about 6 years. During my time under adult supervision, I came to every scheduled meeting, completed every single drug test(successfully), and either paid on time or greatly overpaid. I started out with Officer R. Thatcher, who was an amazing officer that was always very professional and helpful. After her. I went through a few other officers that would schedule me for a particular time, but would make me wait an additional amount of time, ranging from 1 hour to 4 hours, to be seen. I would always arrive and check in 10 min. early or right on time. No matter what, there was always a ridiculous wait before I could see my officer. Overall my experience with the Bexar County Adult Probation Office was very unprofessional when it came to those unnamed officers that cause long wait times. This makes it difficult to be punctual in getting back to work or any other activities schedule for the day of the probation "check-in".
When my case was finally to the point in which I could get early release, I requested for my officer to submit the paperwork, that included my own letter to the judge along with other documents. This particular officer said that she would get those submitted right away. At my next meeting, I met with another officer in which told me that the previous officer had never submitted the request to the court so he, then stated, that he would go ahead and submit the paperwork. Then I received a phone call from yet another officer, scheduling an appointment, who said that the paperwork had still not been submitted.
The best, and final officer I was under, successfully submitted my paperwork and had an answer within a couple of days. My final officer was C. Jones and she was the most professional person I have dealt with and I feel like she truly takes her job seriously and does a wonderful job, overall!

Just transferred my probation from Colorado. The moment I walked in the door the older security lady gave me a dumb expression on her face and even worse attitude. The lady's at the desk we're more polite but honestly she hates her job, we didn't ask to work there lady.

Over a year and a half ago someone broke a large plate glass window at work. The dude who did it was put on probation and paid up, but the probation office has been dragging their feet getting us the funds. We have to pretty much call every day in a row for a week to get a response. They keep saying they'll mail us paperwork that never comes to release the funds to us. I told them if they didn't resolve the situation we'd be filing a complaint which I'm going to do Monday morning. Its ridiculous.

I understand that I did wrong, and deserve some sort of punishment. I believe for my first time being in trouble they went above, and beyond to make this a horibble experience. I complied with everything the entire time, but they refused to give me any leway at all...for example checking in by telephone for the last few months considering I work 7 days a week is an option that the judge refused. Also after most people have finished paying all fines and doing all classes they will release from probation...I was done with all of mine 6 months prior, and refused to let me off a day early. I don't believe they do anything to help reacclimate people that have been locked up into society again. They just make it really, really hard and stressful for them more than anything. I get taking pee tests, and giving someone a fine, but I paid out over 10 grand with all the classes, fine, lawyer, breathylizer. This is not even applicable for some people who do not have as good of a job as I. They need to help people instead of putting more on them than obviously they already cannot handle. But, that would never happen...just mtr them and throw away the key, then the citizens of our society just give up and turn into life time criminals because they are really left with no other choice.

Rude and unprofessional threw cup at wall cause i wasn't comfortable going in front of guy cause of my ptsd oh and be careful with the probation officer's mine tried to violate me on my last week of probation i had gotten everything done two month's early and she had the audacity to put me in jail i spent two days in the magistrate without eating and resting i had seen the judge that second day after the process was over and i had fought the case and won i was not guilty so be careful always make copies and keep track of everything or you will be the next victim.

My husband just transferred and has to report by phone on tomorrow when we get to San Antonio. We were headed to Texas but our car started acting up so it's in the shop and hopefully can be fixed in the morning so we can get on the road. He is going to call in the morning to report but we will not be in Texas until early sat morning because it's an 16 hour drive. Does anyone know if he will get into trouble?

Can't even be bothered to answer the telephone. My call rang for over 2 minutes during business hours and disconnected. Completely unprofessional! Yet another agency using covid as excuse to get even less work done.

Haven't Had A Problem With This Place.. Well Not Yet.. And Hopefully I Won't.. Cause I'm Keeping Up With My Payments, And Since I've Been Going.?! They Been Nothing But Nice To Me... But Then Again I Still Got 5yrs. To Go.....

I have been calling for days, just want to know if the offender has paid me any restitution lately since I havent been mailed a check since August. They will not answer the phone. I know I have called at least a hundred times in the past week and it just rings!!! no voicemail or anything. FRUSTRATING!!!!

Was just told not to use my cell phone (texting my ride) in the elevator. She obviously needs to get laid or has a complex

Very rude staff who will not return your calls and speak in a sarcastic disrespectful tone when they actually do answer

THE SECURITY MAN AT THE FRONT WHO CHECKS YOU BEFORE GOING IN IS THE WORST RUDE ANIMALISTIC HUMAN WITH THE WORST CHARACTER,TALKS DOWN TO PEOPLE AND ENJOYS IT,IVE BEEN THERE TWICE FOR MY FATHER, NOT FOR MYSELF,I NEVER BEEN TO JAIL,BUT THIS MAN HAS THE WORST ATTITUDE , THE ATTITUDE OF A SERIAL KILLER., OF A NEGATIVE DONKEYS BUTT.

I tried till contact my po via phone and email, she never replied claiming she did not get email, however I got read receipts while sitting in her office... she claimed her email did not work, I asked her for her email address, she said it had some numbers in it and refused to give it to me... she odd a liar and I do not trust her. She filed a mtr on me and I spent 3 weeks in county because of her dumb ass. Everything could have been avoided if she would have acknowledged my initial email and phone calls...
