I boudt thier was any engineers making these cheap refrigerators, unfortunately this company one day was a big name and one of the best in the market, but now thier performance dropt to end up as one of the worst compy making comercial refrigerators.
Beverage Air products was at the top in the refrigeration brands for long time, a couple years ago everything has been flipped over, I m not quite sure what happened, now they are doing the worst job, the new hydrocarbon refrigerators are not working properly with a lot of issues but this is still not the biggest issue, the issue when you are in real need to speak with the customer service they give you really very hard time answering your questions and dealing with the issue, even if you already bought tons of units from them they are going to ignore you even if you still have the warranty so don t waste your time and your business money with their company and their garbage products
Pretty lousy Tech support and really just lousy customer handling all together. True MFG has so much better support and WAY better call handling times. 45 Minutes on hold is a little ridiculous.
We ve been a customer for over 10 years, and the last unit we bought was great. No problems. We ve bought a new refrigerator from them since then, and have had it for a total of 5 days, and it has NOT been working. Whenever my manager calls customer service, they REFUSE to admit that there is something wrong with the unit they sold us, and placed the blame on us, saying that it s bc the holders are different sizes and shapes we put too many items in one holder as to why our meat and vegetables were not cooling, even after we did everything they suggested, it still isn t working. They also have terrible customer service; whenever my manager calls, they just hang up. I would not recommend beverage-air for anyone. Disappointing
Unfortunately, at one time Beverage Air was a good company but since 2018 the company is dropping to the worst point, products are horrible with miserable quality, I don t know which types of engineers they have. horrible customer care, we have been customer over 14 years but no more.
As we are their loyal customer, we were so happy by the mid of 2016 how Beverage Air were able to fix some of the major reliability issues, they were able to develop their refrigerators to reliable level of technology, but unfortunately the last year (2018) their freezers and refrigerators got horrible design change put them back worse than ever before, last week I got lots of calls from stores managers were complaining about the refrigerators that we lately bought from Beverage Air, finally i took the decision to switch to another brand which can last longer without quality issues.
The worest refrigeration system I have ever seen, very cheap and designed for one year use, they are using very cheap components to save a penny, it was a very good brand but since 2012 everything changed, I am sure they are letting thier technicians designing the refrigerators instead of really engineers, we were buying a lot of those refrigerators to our restaurants but not more, true is much better.
Absolutely horrible customer service. Have a chronic problem with my DD68 since day one and now that its out of warranty they won't even return my phone calls! To all prospective buyers, BEWARE!! Buy another brand
