Awesome place and an awesome staff! Especially one staff member in particular, Quinn! He helped our group out even while off the clock with sports, then stayed and brought us water. Very selfless! We had a great experience. - SFG group

Day camps this year are horribel

Day camps this year are horribel
We have been sending our kids to beulah beach day camps for years and years and years
NEVER have the children been treated like this
Our 7 year old has a second degree burn form the counslers not putting sun screen on him
We expressed he burns insane easy and have to have it on all day multiple times
Monday he came home very red
Tuesday morning at drop off we stressed again that he has to have this on him
Tuesday evening i asked his counsler if he had sun block on the response from his group counsler was " another kid said he put it on for him"
We didnt pay for another child to monitor our child we paid for the " trained" counslers to monitor the children.
Tuesday when we got home this grown man was shaken to almost tears. My child had a blister across his shoulders and large boils on his actual shoulder.
When i contacted the camp that night Karen (head counsler) asked if he was wearing his swim shirt
I dont know Karen you guys were supposed to be watching him. We sent it in his bag with his swimming trunks
I expressed that we can go to flordia and south carolina and he has never burned like this!
Sorry was the response then trying to blame us for not stressing enough that he has to have sun screen on
DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS THERE IF YOU EXPECT THEM TO BE WATCHED AND TAKEN CARE OF until they can take care of themselves. Our 9 and 15 yr old have had minimal issues this year.
Very sad this camp has gone down hill so fast
Very drastic change from last year

Grace Church of Middleburg Heights held it's Church Family Picnic at this great camp and resort on Lake Erie. Over 1,000 of our church family members and their guests enjoyed wading and swimming in the lake...some rode jet skis...some rode the zip line...some enjoyed paddle boats and canoes...some enjoyed the water slide. All of us enjoyed the supper followed by the outdoor worship service including 50-some persons baptized in the lake.

It was our first time at Beulah Beach Camp this summer. We loved it and can't wait until next summer! We'll definitely be back! Everyone was so nice and you really feel just a peace there. You can really tell God's presence is at this camp.

Ok

A good place to be at! This barrier island in front of the Creek is a fine place. Good food, nice homes, and even fishing and boating! Beach goers can enjoy the nice, relaxing sand. Fine 2-4 foot average waves lap up gently on the peaceful, Serene shores of Beulah Beach, Ohio. Which is technically a part of Indian Rocks Beach, Ohio.

I signed a niece and nephew up for Splash camp. They selected the am and pm sessions they wanted to experience and were excited to try new things. We were very disappointed to be notified 2 days before camp started of a change in agenda, effectively eliminating splash camp as it was described. I understand there is a pandemic, but I feel the camp administrators knew well in advance of public notice how they intended to structure the week. I also feel the pandemic is becoming an easy excuse for changing things for convenience, not necessity. They were extremely disappointed and we did not get what we paid for.

A great Christian Church Camp. Fun activities in the lake such as tubing, waterskiing, jetskis, and just swimming. Also paintball, 9 square, basketball, soccer, carpetball, chaos and Gaga ball, volleyball, paddle boarding, canoeing, and even a playground. You can do many different camps ranging from one day to one week. Cabins are available for the smaller family camps, otherwise you will be in a large building housing several people per room. A buffet, salad bar(except for breakfast), and a small selection of drinks are available for all meals. Each camp will be separated into small groups with one leader and about ten or so kids. Boys and girls are in separate groups and buildings.

We just returned from our first year of family camp. We all had such an amazing time. My kiddos have been asking to come back next year since day one. The facilities are very well maintained; the food was wonderful; but best of all were the people--both staff and other attendees. I can't say enough good about this place. Hoping to return next year!

My children went there this week on Sunday. Till Friday. So far I'm not pleased. There is supposed to be this app that provides parents with pictures of their kids that has facial recognition. It does not work. We have to pay for this. Whoever is taking the pictures is not doing well. More back sides that faces. Plus I'm not sure my children are even getting to write me letters which I also paid for extra over camping. And I'm having real doubts about how this place is ran. Needs alot of improvement from the perspective of a parent who cannot see if there child is having fun.

It's a little taste of Paradise so very welcoming. We spent our 4th of July there enjoying the beach, the pool and having dinner in a beautiful pavilion over looking the lake. The pavilion could use a bigger grill. Then we sat down on the beach around a fire ring and watched the fire works all around us. Always we unexpectedly run into dear friends. It is a most welcoming place.

I love this place so much. My Church uses this place all the time for Youth Group Retreats and such. I go to Westgate Chapel in the Toledo Area and we love this place. Keep doing what you are doing by helping others know God and grow with Him.

Beulah Beach is the place to be with your family or church they have jet-skis,water tubing, zipline, dunk tank, rock climbing wall, sports(Dodgeball,Basketball,Bubble soccer, volleyball and whiffleball),canoeing, and a pool. Tidal wave is a fun thing for kids in grade 6 or age 11 and older to do they can do every activity including crud wars it is a war between two huge groups of people throwing food and objects at each other with a wash in the lake and showers afterwards. Tidal wave has lunch and dinner, there are hot dogs etc. for lunch and hamburgers etc. for dinner. You end your day with a concert from some random band every year.(not always sometimes you listen to the owner speak). I highly recomend Beulah Beach it is totally worth the slight sunburns.
