Loved the broasted chicken, onion rings and of course the toffee pie!!

For all the advertising they do about world famous pies the five we tried were just so so. Not worth the $4+ they charge for each piece. Whole pies start at $18 and up. Very overpriced on those.

Excellent pie! The menu specialties are top notch and so was the service.

Great homestyle Minnesota food, plus service was good and pretty quick. The pies are just the icing on the cake (in a metaphorical sense because they are actually pies).

The broasted chicken was delicious! We also loved the bumbleberry pie with ice cream. Very busy on a Tue so allow extra time.

If you are in Duluth, you have to go here! Wonderful pies and others menu items! A real treat!

This used to be a great place to go for pies, a staple of a trip up north. Since Betty passed away the recipes have changed, or the ingredients have. They are average at best, and bad at worst. Revised them after several years and ordered 5 pies. I can very safely recommend avoiding this place for pies. Food was fine, service was OK, the best part was the drive to the place and surrounding area.

Oh, yeah. We ate a regular dinner, taking our pie to go. Vast selection. Excellant. Good and friendly service. Clean and ample dining room, lots of parking.

You wont be disappointed with this place. A place i try to visit each pass through. Great breakfast...and its a must that you grab a pie for the road.

We've stopped here a few times. The food has always been good and there is a large selection of pies to choose from. We have yet to have a negative experience.

Food is good, not exceptional in any way like I had thought it was going to be. Had seen this place featured on THE FOOD NETWORK for it's famous pies. They're good, but again, not exceptional. My grandmother made far better pies. Again, they're are good, but not good enough to be featured on the Food Network in my opinion. During the summer months the place is usually packed during lunch and dinner hours so be prepared to wait a little while for a seat if that's what time you show up there.

You can have any pie slice put into your shake! You must ask for it though if you're just trying to stop on the way and do the walk up counter (vs. sit down) since it's not made obvious. They also offer a gluten free apple pie, I'm unsure if that is always or on occasion/rotation! Yum!

My husband and I had the bumbleberry and key lime pie. It was nothing more then mediocre. The lady that gave us our take out was not friendly.

Pies are okay. Nothing special really. But nothing else around here.

The pie here was truly incredible. I got the Great Lakes Crunch and they really give you a sizable piece of pie and it is well worth the money. The lunch food was also good, but I wouldn t stop here just for that. Overall a very fun place with lovely staff!

The building is cute, but the service is horrible! The average age of the employees there 17 and they did not have any customer skills. I order 1 slice of pie and I waited in line to receive my pie for 20mins! The place is chaotic and once you order you just stand there and wait around. There is no order to the place. One lady was so mad how long she was waiting she told them to forget about it and left. They didn't even offer her a refund. They clearly had no pies prepped.

Food was very good. Pies were absolutely wonderful. Just be prepared to wait at this very popular place

Food was good, service was good, good history and clean. I don't feel it's worthy of a wait longer than 20 minutes but I can be impatient. In summary, a dinner with good food with a little too much hype. You can stop and get a slice of pie to go, the pie was great!

I had fish and chips not a fan BUT, that walnut maple pie. Story time, I am on Medifast and went off the plan to eat there. I was not dissapointef.

The sandwiches were better than the pie.

The Pie Shake! After reading a review about this concoction in Gourmet magazine 10 years ago, I finally had the chance to drive up the North Shore along Lake Superior. Two Harbors is a lovely place worth exploring. Then satisfy your appetite with a treat like the Pie Shake at Betty's Pies. I chose Raspberry Peach...but next time it'll be either Banana Cream or Apple!

Food was great. Had an extra order of fries on our recipe and we asked to have it removed but she didn't when we got our receipt. So that sucks. But a great place. The fries were awesome and hot. And the pie is great.

Wonderful service, great food, Gluten free meals are great, first time in a long time we could order a mushroom and Swiss burger at a restaurant that was gluten free. Steaks and walleye are very good also.

Right off 61, can't miss it. We always stop here for a meal after we leave the bwcaw. I'm not a huge dessert person but their berry pie is great. Food is alittle overpriced imo but supply and demand on northshore gets what it wants. I'd suggest stopping.

Found this gem while on a roadtrip. Best cream pie I ve ever had! The place was packed, so don t recommend driving an RV into the parking lot.

Great place to come and get pies. The pie selection is great and they have a wide variety. Baked there in the restaurant and are very fresh. Anytime we go up north, we make sure to stop here. It's a must.

It's a small restaurant/coffee shop on the way to Duluth from up north. Try their pies. Coffee was great also

We were disappointed... The quality of their food, even their pie, just isn't as good as it used to be.

It was wonderful food and super satisfied with the pie. However, service was terrible. Watress was grumpy and very slow. Never checked up on us and never asked if anything else needed just walked away.
