They are scam artists basically it's just organized crime they work with their doctors they work with their chiropractors and they Jack their prices up so high that in the end the lawyer and doctors make more than the client who was actually involved in the accident. They commit fraud ensuring you that it's going to get you more money but the only one that gets more money out of their fraud is them and their paid doctors, I am very unhappy and I am seeking extra legal advice on how to get an investigation started, thanks Zac

All of those 5 Star reviews are a bunch of lies. I m truly truly disappointed with this company/firm. Don t believe the hype. I have done everything requested of me and yet I have not received any information on my case thus far. All I ever get is the run around or some excuse about why my case isn t moving along. I just want this chapter of my life to be over with so that I can move forward.
I was very satisfied with the service from this law firm I have nothing but great things to say about the firm especially Carlton and Sabrina they were so helpful and understanding whenever I called.
I won't go into full detail but my case required some skill and I must admit, Bethune Law Firm had the skills needed, plus more. The insurance companies are a joke and they try VERY hard not to pay you anything! I recommend Bethune to every damn body!
For this to be such a great law firm. No one is never in the office. My car accident happened in July of 2019 and I ve spoken to someone at the law firm maybe 3 times and it s been a different somebody every time. The two times I went there of course no one was in the office.
UPDATE: After posting my review, another attorney from the law firm contacted me. I believe his name was Harold, he contacted me and said he was taking over my case. He told me he would contact me at least once a week to touch bases and keep me updated on my case. He said he would work on my case so that I could take away my negative review. I ve spoken to him twice and I still don t know what s going on with my case. At this point I m ready to fire them as my attorney and find someone new.

This law firm had my mom's case. The accident was unexpected and set my family behind on bills and other things that we needed to take care of. It was taking a while to get her case settled but Mr. Bethune kept telling her to trust the process. We didnt understand what that meant at the time because we were frustrated. My mom's case has now settled and I would just like to say that I am glad that we TRUSTED THE PROCESS!!!!!!!!!

I was in a auto accident on Dec-18-2019. I hired Bethune Law Firm on Dec-20-2019. Its now November 2020 and my case is still not settled. I have done everything that as been asked of me, went to all docs and specialist appointments never missed a one. Abd they have done nothing but given me the run around. The first time i called for a update it was "there waiting on one last document from the specialist office that was in April. The next time i spoke with anyone it was in September, then it was "ok we got all your documents now we are going to give your file to the demand team and once they submit demands on your behalf they will reach out to you and let you know". Now its November soooooooo it takes 2 months to submit a offer. Nope never did it. Today my insurance company called me asking if i still have a lawyer on my case cause they called Bethune law and they said they dont represent you. Smh really. I HAVE HAD IT WITH THEM. FIRED! My advice to anyone out there I MEAN DO NOT AND I MEAN DO NOT HIRE these people.

My case was difficult due to the fact that it was a hit-and-run accident and the driver of the vehicle wasn t the policyholder. The accident occurred in October of 2016 and we have finally closed the case out today (12/19/2019). Bethune Law Firm did eventually get the maximum amount in settlements from both insurance companies after the 3 year timeframe. My case settled for $55,000. One would think that this is great news, and it is, other than the fact that after such a long painful wait, out of $55,000 I received a check for $17,000. After legal fees and medical expenses, I (the plaintiff) walked away with $hi17,000 after paying out $38,000 in legal and medical fees out of $55,000. Let me break it down so that you ll know how it works because it s obvious I didn t: $22, 000 Attorney Fees (plus $1,500 clerical fees) totaling $23,500 to the law firm and .$14,500 in Medical Fees. If I can give any advice, please use your own doctors, not the ones recommended by the law firm, and make sure that you read your contract carefully because it s obvious that I didn t. I didn t have a clear understanding of having to pay out 40% of my settlement to the attorney even though the case didn t go to court. I anticipated paying out 33.3% unless the case went to court but I was wrong and because the attorney filed the case in court, I paid 40%. Hindsight is 20/20 and if I had to do it over again, I definitely wouldn t have went blindly in the direction that I did. Again, if you have your own insurance, DO NOT use the doctors recommended to you by the law firm; choose your own form of medical care. At least if you use your doctors, you can have more transparency of what your medical bills are and you re only paying your copayment. I never saw any itemized medical records and although the fees were reduced , I never saw one bill and never had the presence of thought to request itemized statements. The attorney assured me that he fought hard for my case; I cannot dispute that, I can only say that I didn t expect the ending that I got but I am glad that I can close this chapter of my life and can finally begin my healing process. I pray that I never have a need to use another attorney in this manner but if I do, I would definitely do more research before contracting with an attorney and I would make sure that I have a clear understanding of what I m signing. I m not saying that the law firm did anything wrong, I am saying PLEASE don t move in haste and PLEASE make sure that you DO NOT use the doctors that they recommend (if possible).
Horrible service!! LITERALLY the worst service/customer service when it comes to dealing with communication. I ve only talked to Terrance Bethune once and it was the day of my accident to get me to sign up with them. I only talked to a lawer 6-7 times out of an ENTIRE year of being with them. I called the office over 60 times just to get information on my case and I always get the run around with lines like I could let them know you called and someone will give you a call back and always as I suspect never get a call, I ll haft to call back over 6-7 times just to get a response. I wont EVER recommend them to anybody LITERALLY. THEY ARE FULL OF BU!! SHi+

I really appreciate everything Attorney Bethune and his staff did for me. I spoke to him when my accident first happened and he assured me that he and his staff would do their best to take care of me. I did not get an immediate answer every time I called and that was sometimes frustrating, but they would get back to me and give me the best advice as soon as they were able to... Where shall I start. Well all I can say positive about this firm is they have great commercials on the radio. If they put half the energy into handling cases as they do advertisement, this review wouldn't be necessary. And If i could give a half of a star I would. My fiance used this law firm when he had his accident almost 2 years ago. We specifically asked would Mr Bethune be available to speak with directly at any given time when requested, we were assured OF COURSE HE WOULD. That was a BALD FACE lie. We have NEVER met with nor spoken to Mr Bethune since the signature on the contract, after our many requests. You will ALWAYS speak to an answering service and they will "RELAY" your message. Then a paralegal or associate will call you back. My fiance was given the run around for all this time about his case even tho he had kept every doctors appointment, surgical procedure and therapy given. When we were finally FED UP, we emailed the firm, Mr Bethune directly requesting, for a final time, a face to face meeting, and we also expressed our disappointment with the progress, "Mr Bethune" responded (although I believe it was an associate to respond) with such hostility, telling me if you don't like the progress then "Fire us". After yet again requesting a meeting, My fiance was given a date to meet Mr Bethune, the day before the meeting was to happen, Mr Bethune's associate contacted my fiance to tell him Mr Bethune would not be available. THAT WAS IT. My fiance contact another attorney to take the case and we requested in writing ALL his records. We were not only told it takes 24 hours, but when the records were received, it wasn't even half of the records. The new attorney then made the request for ALL records and that is when we discovered that Mr Bethune, had in fact, given my fiance's case, without any permission, to another attorney. Needless to say with this discovery my fiance was angry and felt betrayed. DO NOT USE THIS ATTORNEY, THAT IS MY OPINION AND MY WARNING. And one thing I will ASSURE you that this is an AUTHENTIC REVIEW MADE BY A REAL PERSON, I WISH I COULD SAY THE SAME ABOUT THE OTHER REVIEWS LISTED HERE.

For the past 3 months I ve been trying to get into contact with these people and have a Long Line of Messages to see how they will Continue my Case and it s been absolute Hell. NO ONE calls back. NO ONE follows up. NO ONE does what they say they are going to do. This case has been open since March 7th 2018 and this is 2020. Will NOT be going back.
