This was on my bucket list and so well worth it!! Just to be where Woodstock came together was just amazing!! And the actual entertainment venue at Bethel is the most beautiful in the world! You will feel like you are at a music fest in a beautiful garden!!!
You need to go!

Very difficult to get to. The roadways leading to it are riddled with traffic. You'd think building such a colossal venue would involve upgrading the infrastructure leading to it. But alas, a failure on private venture and local government to keep the public's interest represented.

First time at Bethel Woods. We were there for the 50th anniversary of Woodstock. Had an amazing time. The museum was fun and interesting. Met so many people who were there in 1969. The highlight was a concert by Santana. Great show. Excellent venue. Souvenirs and food were a little pricey but I guess that is to be expected. Will definitely return for other shows in the future.

Definitely my favorite outdoor venue to see a concert at. The pavilion is beautify built into the natural terrain, to give a really superior sound. The grounds are quite beautiful, and are great to walk prior to an event or between sets. The lawn area is very well maintained and they have rental chairs available.

Bethel Woods is a special place. For years after the original Woodstock event there were plans to rip it all up and build CONDOS. Then...some nice people with funding came in and bought the whole property out, created a a gorgeous, modern performing arts center like say, Saratoga or NJ PAC.. and on top of it, made the original site (just over the little hill) into a park preserve, with monument.
They did it right, and it's a great place to see a concert.. or visit the cool museum.. or just hang around the monument and smoke a ceremonial joint.

World class venue! Beautifully developed site, with room for 20,000 of your closest friends. The Woodstock Museum is such a nicely done display of the historic festival. It takes a visitor through the history of the event without glamorizing or patronizing it. The highs, the lows, the sheer overwhelming impact it had on the community are displayed in a logical, self guided manner.

I loved this place!

I loved this place!
It's huge and it's full of history. There are lots of big posters with the main singers of the festival, plus facilities and a small restaurant. They have an interesting shop too!

The show was great but as far as service and staff I can say they were rude and not helpful. There was a fight next to my car in the parking lot and staff did nothing to stop it even though they were standing right there. I probably will never come back.

Fantastic place to go see a concert, this was my first time there is clean parking was great beautiful scenery wonderful evening and afternoon Under the Stars for the concert. All the staff was friendly the parking attendants were great and if you had any questions there were plenty of people that could answer them for you. If you see a concert scheduled at this location whether you're a high-end spender and when it under the amphitheater or you just want to take a blanket and sit under the stars you can't beat hanging out listening to your favorite bands at Bethel Woods Center it was awesome!

This venue is out in the sticks but awesome! You can see the stage well even from the lawn! Would definitely recommend seeing a show here. Only thing is that they have a strict policy on bringing bags in so be sure to check the website so you have the right sized bag if you're planning to bring anything in.

A really well done museum marks the site of the 1969 Woodstock concert. The original outside area, plus a small monument/marker are still here. A huge new outdoor performance theater where current concerts are held is part of the not-for-profit venue, as is an indoor events hall. Guided tours are wonderful. We went on two, with Steve who worked on the lighting in 1969, and Jim, who attended. They both gave different but exceptional tours. I think it made a big difference that they had experienced Woodstock themselves. Military discount is free!

To see a concert at this venue is absolutely amazing. Not only do you get to see and hear top notch talent and music you get to feel the history of Woodstock at the same time. When the artists themselves acknowledge the beauty of performing here well that speaks volumes and proves how important this venue has become.

Visited the museum on the 50th anniversary in 2019. Place was locked up like Fort Knox, couldnt go anywhere without buying a $250 ticket, not even the restroom in the lobby of the museum. So much for the hippy "free" mentality. Hippies turned hardcore capitalists

Bethel woods could be a bit better. It lacks freedom and spirit. There are some good with bad. Their facilities are clean and well manicured. The stage is great and can protect you from some rain which is very nice. The parking is close which is nice. Now with the bad: there are tons of staff around.. which isn t always a bad thing; however, they recommended we make our way to the venue to keep their schedule (they had a delayed opening) and we were enjoying some tailgating before the show. We didn t care too much about being on time. We witnessed several people walking back to their cars to return pocket books. Their security and restrictions are a bit much. I ve posted a picture for reference. The food at the vendors is not great and of course the beer and food are overpriced which is expected.. bethel definitely plays to an older crowd in my opinion.

This is a very nicely prepared history of what led to and happened in the 1960's regarding unrest and music transformation in the US.
I was there just after the opening many years ago. They have maintained the museum well, it's not showing any age.
I met a woman from Phillidelphia who attended the 1969 Woodstock festival; she said that the depiction was spot on.
This is a must see for all ages to appreciate what is possible on may fronts.

Love seeing bands at this venue. I feel like every seat under the pavilion is a good seat. Food and drinks are crazy expensive so be sure to eat before you go. Drinks..well maybe have a few of those too before you arrive if you're not driving lol

Pack the car, fill the tank with gas and head to Bethel Woods Performing Arts Center. Everyone that works there are a delight for starters, and the venue is sublime under the stars. Def go check it out.

Great Show. 5 starts! Wonderful venue 5 stars!. Staff needs to chill. Was asked 3 times in seat for tickets, 4 of us together. Staff way to aggressive on seating. Venue was 1/2 empty for last set and wouldn't allow people to move down to empty seats. It was 11pm. The people were not coming back. Staff needs training on customer service and management of seating. Traffic is a problem but not fault of venue, very rural area .... Small roads. Be patient and wait in lot for a few hours for traffic to clear.
