Great outdoor amphitheater! Being so close to the original Woodstock site gives this a historic vibe, but the fantastic layout and landscaping set this above any concert venue I've visited. Libations selections are broad but pricey but not really out of line with most concerts. We had easy in and out of the parking area. All in all a great spot to see a concert.

Great tribute and historical reference to 1969 Woodstock festival actually held in Bethel, N Y. Thoroughly enjoyed it and think it was well done. Hope to go back again and spend a little more time.

Although we didn't have time for the museum tour, the place looked awesome, the people were very friendly, and the monument to the historic '69 concert was very cool. We had a blast, took some great pictures, and had fun memories to share back home. So glad we had the opportunity to visit!

Had a fun night with the Pentatonix. Got lawn seating and rented a chair. Was definitely worth the $6 as the grass got dewy through the night. Also got quite chilly so I was glad to be wearing jeans and that I brought a jacket and a blanket. Went to museum before the concert and found it interesting and informative as well as nostalgic

Went there in December 2009 with a couple friends. Even though the museum was still open another hour or so, they had stopped selling tickets.
Seeing our disappointment, and my Chicago decorated hat, the security guard asked if we d come a long way which I myself had.
He then kindly let us go in without tickets.
I observed to my friends, Forty years later and it s still a free concert!
Some of that long-ago concert is captured in video shown in the museum s iMax-style theater.

The presentation of history of Woodstock was very well done. A little pricey for souvenirs, grounds and building are well kept. On poor incident was discovered after leaving which may not be related. Wife used credit card there and shortly after, her account was hacked and money was taken.

This is a great place to see a concert. Smaller outdoor venue than most which allows you to feel closer to the stage no matter where you sit. The seats are under a cover which can be a big benefit when it rains. The only things that could use some improvement would be a better traffic plan to get people out of the parking lot quicker and some more/better food options. This is my favorite venue to see a concert.

This is the BEST trip I have ever taken. They have beautifully preserved and heralded Max Yasgurs farm and surrounding areas of the original WOODSTOCK festival and capped it off with the most beautiful stage and amphitheater and museum to commemorate and celebrate WOODSTOCK. I cannot wait to visit again and again. Much love and THANK you.

Went to Bethel Woods last night to see Lynyrd Skynyrd. Had to stand all the way in the back because they wouldn t sell us lawn chairs (and your not allowed to bring your own). The grass was wet, so sitting on the ground was not an option. They had chairs but wouldn t sell them claiming they were presold, yet there were stacks of chairs everywhere and the concert had already started. It doesn t make sense to me that 1 you would sell lawn tickets and not have an equal amount of chairs to the number of sold tickets and 2 turn guests away when the presold chairs were obviously going unused.
When you can t bring your own chair, you are forcing guests to stand. Standing on the lawn (when everyone else has chairs), blocks the view of the seated guests. This leaves us standing in the concession area where would could barely see anything. Totally sucked. I will tell everyone I know about this terrible experience and I ll be spending most of today writing bad reviews on every review site I can find.

Jackson Browne (7/6/19) was our first show at Bethel Woods. It is a very nice venue for a concert. The weather was in 70's so it was very comfortable. Getting into and out were a breeze. We had a bad experience getting into Saratoga Springs last year as it was poorly orchestrated. This was well done.
Parking was free. Suggest you get their at least 1.5 hours before time to ensure all goes smoothly. We sat out in the parking area until just after 7 pm. It is a fairly good walk. They recommend allowing 20 minutes for the walk. I thought that was over kill looking at maps, but it is misleading as the distance to the gate is roughly 1/2 the trek.
We didn't drink anything at the venue but the prices were $9 / beer which is pretty standard. We did eat as we didn't see food that we liked on the way. We both got the chicken breast sandwich. It was a very large portion for only $9. It would have been double that at Yankee stadium. I didn't eat all of the fries.
Overall, it was great concert and venue. Recommend. We will be back.

It would have got five stars but there was a security guard with a metal detecting wand that was a little too over-the-top he was making us lift up our pant legs checking our socks lifting up our shirts it was very uncomfortable. He was very rude when he was talking to us I felt very disrespected. I've been coming to Bethel Woods for 10 years now I don't know if I'm going to be back because of that interaction it's a shame. That's not the way you should start off a night for a concert.

Drove from Boston to see this place. It is as advertised! If you are a fan of music and history coming together, this is your symphonic mecca.
Just to see the field where it all happened is a mind blowing awe inspiring moment.
The staff and grounds people are to be commended to keeping the vibe they had there over 50 years ago alive.
Worth the drive here You will not be disappointed
