I was waiting in line to get a room then 2 other people walked up after me and were helped first.. I probably would not have cared if I had not already been waiting for 10 minutes after a 7 hour drive and they already had a room. I didn't walk out and give another hotel my money for a 3 day stay until I was ignored the second time and yes I was ignored because I was acknowledged when I walked in.
As I approached the hotel, I noticed blue lights on the pillars of the area covering the entrance which gave it the Holiday Season look. I was impressed at how nice the lobby looked. The front desk staff was very helpful & was quick to get our room info. While standing at the front desk, I turned around & noticed a sitting area with what I would consider comfortable seats. The elevator is a quick walk from the front desk. The hallway & elevator were clean. The room looked exactly like the picture. Nice bathroom, TV, & desk w/ a chair. They do offer breakfast & it's awesome!
There will be no other visit to this hotel, ever. The room was not sealed when we walked in, it seems they did not finish cleaning it. There was no towels, and the pillows covers were not changed. Everything was dirty and the room seemed very old and there was no water for at least one hour and the microwave was not working. We asked for towels and we got few, then we asked for pillow covers and I was told to come down and pickup the pillow covers. My 5 year old and I went to the elevator and it was full of marijuana smoke and it seemed the hotel staff lost control of everything. At check out, I was waiting in a long line, and then right when it was my turn, someone walked in and cut in front of me. The front desk served him instead of asking him to go in the line. Also, no social distancing and almost all guest did not wear masks. We booked 3 rooms and paid $92 per room per night. These rooms don't worth more than $39 per night.
Where to even start with this excuse of a hotel . Day 1, we notice small blotches of blood on the window Curtains and a razor in the floor in front of the sink. Day 2, WE FIND A LITERAL USED NEEDLE on top of the wardrobe. And more blood below the sink all over the walls. This place is full of junkies and the people that run it obviously do not care what so ever. People are better off on the street. I wish I could add pictures of this disgusting place
Staff is has been really friendly. 3 stars because the ac units dont regulate the temperature correctly. We had to keep ac at 63 just for it to kick on. Then this morning i noticed water pooling ON the unit,windows and floor from the rain, on both windows which the units are right under it.
The towels are super rough like sand paper rough. They feel like exfoliating loofas.
Also 6 floors, ice machine on each floor but only 1 ever works. Sometimes 2nd floor is the only one. Some days its the 6th floor.
Good price. Window leaked from a storm. Towel rack fell off the wall. Pillows felt damp. Poor lighting in rooms. Hallway smelt of sewage after the ran. Friendly breakfast servers. Nice lobby.
Meh. This place was fine. We stayed one night. The bed wasn't the most comfortable. The toiletries were super generic. And the elevator smelled really bad. Like a rubber belt had been rubbed too long.
This rating is tuff for me because i like the Best Western brand, the staff were great, and this location is great. It started with the homeless guy asking for money at the entrance, then the key card didn't work. We got in the room and the smoke alarm was not connected. There were pieces of glass on the bathroom floor. The bed had so much static in it the bed would light up with every move and you would expect we got shocked every time we touched something. The bed, pillows, and towels were all hard. The refrigerator made noises like it wanted to go out.
Minor things first...
Ac really didn't cool the room
-hallways reeked of cigarettes and weed
-thin walls
-the pictures are very inaccurate rooms are not worth the $113 per night I was charged.
Major issues.
- I was charged for the room TWICE
And was told by the manager SERGIO that he didn't see any issue with my booking and if the other front desk worker sees an issue they should be able to fix it.
- second time around I was helped by Brian and Alley who were able to identify the issue and refund one of the charges on my account
Great room and room service. No classy but comfortable for the price you pay. Enjoyed my stay.
