I enjoyed my stay there. For being the bay their prices were fantastic!
I enjoyed my stay there. For being the bay their prices were fantastic!
Great clean hotel. The price is right for what you get.
It was good but the breakfast food should improve a hell lot
its a good establishment for 1 or 2 night stay. breakfast was better than most. but thats not saying much. furniture is cheap in the rooms. so be gentle. the room deposit is 150 which i find ridiculous.
Pretty decent place. Right by the freeway. Very easy to locate. But then again you to have the freeway noise. Not the worst place not the best place.
i just said thank you but the information shouted because he is busy. i feel humiliated.
Room smelled like smoke, carpets and furnature were dirty, and there were cockroaches in the room! Walls were very thin and you could hear everything happening outside and in the surrounding rooms. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
Nice clean rooms. Close to the freeway so a little bit of traffic noise
Stayed less than 6 hours after a missed flight. Rooms are the usual motel affair. Front desk staff not very friendly, understandable considering a 1am check in time.
I recently stayed here for a business trip, and there are definitely some things that could be improved on. The beds were comfortable and it was relatively clean, however, the walls are so thin you could hear literally everything around you. This included a couple arguing next to us at 3 am, the dump truck empty the dumpster right outside our room at 4 am, and the man above us who seemed to never sleep, and loudly paced around his room all night. The continental breakfast was decent, aside from the oatmeal packets being out of date, and the coffee not very strong. For the price, it could have been worse, but it definitely could have been better. I doubt we will stay here again if we return to the area next year.
The only good thing about this place is the cleaning lady's and there are a lot of great place to eat close by. They allow big rigs to park alongside the hotel and they run their engine all day and night long. The key's to your room need to be reset all the time. The list goes on.
The downtown is so far and the transportation at the neighborhood its not easy
So...... how do I even begin! We checked in and were told no pets. However we don t have pets we have service animalS We also have children we checked into a family suite which was filthy there was hair in the bed and stains which look like blood all over the sheets was totally disgusting there was an inch of dust on all the furniture and many pieces of the furniture were patio furniture the sliding glass door does not stay open it slide shut it was in poor working condition but I think the worst part about our stay was that the hot and cold water was backwards and my son got scolded when I demanded to have some kind of incident report filled out regarding his injuries I was told that a refund would be issued And the police would be called to escort me off the property! I was like really? Is that necessary to kick us out at 1 o clock in the morning we just Got into town from a long drive this is how you treat people? Especially after their child just got burned by your hot water I was completely disgusted with the cleanliness and staff attitude And to top it off the police did show up and we were escorted off the property and the police department which is San Mateo were absolutely Rude I asked them for a badge number of report number something to refer to and they were not very helpful I did however retrieve the information that I was looking for from their field supervisor after I called him to get it and he did inform me that the officers have body cams so that any promises of a refund Is documented on their body cams which made me feel little bit better but I m still upset that scumbag hotel owners like this are allowed to rent out rooms to the public Please do not stay here do not give these people your money it s disgusting they have no cleanliness standards or dignity Otherwise they wouldn t treat innocent people this way
This place was good, the front desk was nice, the place seemed clean and had good showers.
This hotel is not in too bad of shape considering it's age and is kept up fairly well as far as maintenance goes. The room is spacious and has a desk, microwave, HD TV/cable, and refrigerator. My bed was too squishy for my personal taste. There is a gym with a treadmill, elliptical, bike and a 3 station weight machine. All are not in the best of shape but still usable. There is a continental breakfast but I have not tried it. Its affordable and close to where I need to be.
Room is basic but comfortable. Location is prime, right by the event center.
Rodrigo ?not helpful.. Rude.. Probably not his name.. Misleading overpriced hotel, totally not worth it,go elsewhere for the price.. worst hotel experience ever. U pay to sleep with bed bugs. Yes the hotel knows because the bug baits are expired! This place should be shut down or fumigated! Smh
Over-priced like everything else in Silicon Valley, they charged $180/night despite being half-full! Large and comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Carpet in my room had sticky stains and goo but overall the room was clean
The room was fine, nothing spectacular or terrible. My biggest complaint would be the lack of outlets near the night stand for plugging in phones or clocks.
Our airline company has a contract w/ Los Prados Hotel for 2 days & 2 nights. Upon going back to my room on the last night, w/ my teenage daughter w/ me, using my hotel key when I opened my room #116 saw naked couple having sex on my bed. I rushed to the reception area & asked for the manager. Mr. Jasson Massey admitted selling the room thinking that I wouldn't be using the room since I did not use it on the first day. So is this manager is making extra money at the expense of our company? It was totally upsetting & I was so disappointed that the manager did not even apologized. I have so much witnesses cuz another set of crew are already at the hotel lobby. And most of all my teenage daughter witnessed that horrible incident.
Shavri the maintenance guy was absolutely spotted wandering the hotel property in his underwear trying to strike up conversations with any girls that would respond to his chatter. It's also very uncomfortable the way he looks at any woman even the night desk girl that works there was not safe from his prying eyes and over-zealous appetite for conversation. The gross thing was initially I thought that was his daughter...now I know I dont want to know what goes on there and I won't be back.
In one word...GROSS! Hairs in the bed, hairs in the bathtub, hairs on the towels. WiFi didn't work. Building must have been old apartments built in the 60's, then "renovated" into a hotel in the 90's.
Avoid this place
Good value. Very clean renovated and conveniently located. I would go back.
I made a reservation through Expedia AFTER I talked to the front desk and they told me there was tractor/trailer parking. When my husband arrived THERE WAS NO WAY HE WAS GETTING ON-SITE TO PARK!!! I called the front desk to cancel his reservation and she said the manager would take care of it in the morning. I was still charged anyway!!! WHAT? We didn't even use the services. Ridiculous!
The hotel overall looks dirty. There was mold in the bathroom that was painted over. The wallpaper was falling off next to my bed and the bed bug traps have been expired since 2015. The only good thing about this motel is that it has a functioning fitness room.
Staff is quick and courteous. Only gave it 4 stars because the confusion to get to my room. Great spot to rest for the night though.
Good attention at the front desk. Basic services are good and clean.
Terrible customer service. Owner is rude, disrespectful, and creepy. Sketchy hotel for such a nice area. Do not stay here there are far better options in this price range in San Mateo.
This place is all around dishonest and I can see why after one visit...not "STAY" why it will be demolished soon. Karina the night time girl really tries to assert herself when she has no clue what's going on while some dude named Shavri who I think was the maintenance man blamed all the hotels problems on some woman named Elizabeth but refused to give me her contact info. Basically they refunded me my money because I pointed out that saying you have free wifi and then not having wifi is false advertisement anyways they calmed me down by extending a refund waited till about an hour after I checked into my room and called me and told me I had 10 minutes to be off the property knowing I was already asleep and would be disoriented. They've been doing this a while I guess, they got the better of me but at least I wasnt charged anything because they did honor the refund. BUT THESE ARE VERY SHADY PEOPLE THEY WILL LIE TO YOU AND TELL YOU CONTINUALLY BEFORE AND AFTER THE REFUND THAT THEY DONT DO REFUNDS. If my bank app would let me take a screenshot I would post it here so you can see they are liars. THEY DO DO REFUNDS, if you cant get refund for bad service it's because you didnt try hard enough or they have zero respect for you as a human being. Also the maintenance boy Shavri came to my hotel room in his sleeping shorts aka boxers to ask me what my complaints about the room. He was the most unprofessional of them all.
Decent, no-frills stay. Good restaurant and grocery options nearby
Be careful about the price you paid. The price is $180 per night when I reserve it. I thought it would be like hotels like villa montes , which is a local hotel but is well facilitated. But realized that the hotel is more like a motel. no elevator.
the breakfast is OK. it has banana, apple and cooked eggs.
the building and room is old and the internet is half-working (neither windows laptop nor iPhone can connect. only Android phone connected..)
This place I do not recommend the doors do not serve my door closed and I had 6 hours out of my room I was treated very poorly and was told they would give me a discount and I was not given anything not good choice ....VERY BAD
Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms located close to Hwy. 101 and 92.
Clean, and the staff was hospitable. The area was nice, breakfast was basic continental, but price was worth it.
The food with exquisite in the breakfast..YUM!! Meanwhile the oatmeal was hardy and scrumptious and scrumptious..YUM!! YUM!! The gym was packed with up to date machines and sorry about that the latest and Fashion designer in animal print speedos....
OK kind of place if you are looking for an economic range hotel stay near by SF
Reasonable bed, dated furnishing. Low water pressure in the shower.
It's ok.not what I would recommend to stay for long
A fair enough hotel/motel. It has great interstate access, and a friendly enough staff. The interiors are clean, while the grounds could use some work.
The wall are thin, so sound does travel through easily. If staying here, I recommend getting a second or third room floor, as those are the hotel rooms (interior access), as compared to the first room floors, which a motel rooms (exterior access).
Went there to pick up my cousin who's currently staying there and truth be told it's really sketchy at night. No lights what so ever.
We found it expensive for what it is. The place needs some reparations, Wifi wasn't working, and staff didn't care much, but it's near the airport. Breakfast was very ordinary, there was nothing warm no eggs or waffles or pancakes like other hotels.
The hotel is just after renovation. Good breakfast for cheap American motels: toast eggs, bananas, apples, cream cheese, biscuits.
Very good access to the SFO airport.
Non smoking room still smells like smoke. No healthy options for breakfast. Two of the plugs in my room don't work which has me charging my phone by the bathroom sink. Terrible customer service.
Nice clean place. Food near by and easy access to the freeway.
Can't remember anything special to talk about but it's a good place to rest
Small room with spotty Internet service. Old interior design suitable for a 3-star hotel. Lots of guests smoke in/out of their rooms, by the lobby, and parking lot. Loud noises in the middle of the night from teenagers who hangout by the restaurants. Great location with nearby restaurants, supermarket, mall and caltrain station. Minutes away from sfo airport. Friendly staff.
Great place for sleep! Is close to Whole Foods and to a mini market.
I really loved how comfortable the beds were and how they actually have a white comforter with a cover and not that ugly design stain infested cover others use. I also like the complementary breakfast with tea, coffee, milk, juice, bagels, fruit, cereal, eggs, Danish, muffins, toast, and oatmeal.
Overall mediocre and overpriced, but the staff was friendly and the breakfast was decent.
Close to everything, Dennys, clean room, not too expensive
The hotel provides your basic and we only needed it for one night. The place seemed clean, but there was no heat in the room and the area looked sketchy.
MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE STAYED HERE FOR A LONG TIME, IT IS A VERY LOUD HOTEL THE TRUTH ALWAYS PEOPLE ARRIVE SCREAMING AND EVEN HAVE TREATED US D OPEN THE DOOR IN AN OCTATION OPENED IT AND ALMOST SEE ME SEMIDESNUDA, WE FOUND FOOD IN THE REFRIGERATOR, GARBAGE IN THE BOX OF THE BURO AND YESTERDAY PRECISELY WHEN A COCKROACH WAS BANANDO WAS IN THE CURTAIN OF THE BATH, WE ARE NOT COMPLAINING FOR ANYTHING BUT TODAY IF WHAT I LOOKED NON-PARISHED FOR ANYTHING I HOPE PAY MORE ATTENTION TO THOSE THINGS ALREADY THAT WE AS GUESTS OF TIME THAT WE HAVE REMAINING WITH YOU WANT TO ARRIVE IN A CLEAN ROOM WHICH WE PAY FOR AND WE ARE NOT MADE ANY TYPE D DISCOUNT NOW IF WE DISAPPOINT THE SERVICE
Nice overall. Stayed for 3 nights. Check in was fast. The rooms and bathrooms are dated and have a distinct smell to them that didn't necessarily bother me. Nice to have a microwave and mini fridge. There are multiple buildings for all the rooms, so you can potentially park pretty close to your room, which is handy. Breakfast was standard continental with some boiled eggs. My biggest concern would be with the housekeeping. We're pretty conservative with our towel use, so we hang them to reuse, but even hung they were replaced but missing half our hand towels. They never refilled the coffee. And then another day, we hung our towels again and then got double towels. It's a surprise every time. The beds were super comfy and pillows very firm.
I had a horrible experience. When I first go here, it wasn't too bad. After getting out of the car, it was very hard to take all my luggage up and it took long because there was NO ELEVATOR. When we got to our room, they said there would be free wifi, but the wifi wasn't even working, and when I called the front desk, they kept insisting that the problem was coming from us even though my family owns 8 devices and the internet wouldn't work on all of them which made my kids upset. Also, the TV wasn't working. It was very disappointing that both the WiFi and TV weren't working. It was horrible and my kids didn't know what to do. The staff, as said wasn't very good and wasn't polite about the situation and kept on insisting that the problem is coming from us even though it was coming from them. Also there is little space in the room and not a lot of space to put your clothes and belongings especially if you have a big family. The smell in the hallway is horrible. There isn't much plug outlets. The walls and ceilings are very dirty and old. Overall, this place was horrible and was very dirty and I would never come back
Have microwave and fregerate at the room. The receptionist also upgrade our room from queen bed to two beds room for free. So great. Close to airport. Just next to the Asian plaza. Have a lot Asian restaurant and market. I like it.
I honestly had low expectations, seeing as this was one of the lowest priced hotels online (If not the lowest priced). But we figured we d try it anyway. The front lobby was nice, clean and updated. Our room was clean and spacious. The rooms have coffee, shampoo, and body lotion for use. I would give 5 stars however we experienced one negative: the rather large deposit takes several days to return to your card. We prepaid the room online and while at the counter, they asked for our card and told us AFTER that the deposit would be deducted then returned later. There was no option to leave it in cash. Quite a large negative, but other than that, we enjoyed our stay.
Myself and four coworkers were working in the area ; a couple of miles from hotel. Beds are comfortable, clean, plenty of pillows(5 per bed). They have a decent continental breakfast.
Clean room but other guests have very LOUD fights like what you would expect from a secluded rent by the hour hole in the wall, domestic disturbance, don't greet each other in case you get shot, etc
House keeping has the loudest carts. They sound like they are pushing a dumpster back and forth. Ridiculous. Also if check out is at 11am then why knock on door at 1030. Don't rush people. I work night shift so mornings are my night
This is actually more of a motel, but the room was clean and was perfect for the night, as we only needed it to sleep
Stayed there for 2 weeks. Decent hotel with friendly staff.
This place is really rundown, I stayed comfortably but don't stay here again.
I am writing this as I am in the hotel about to go to breakfast. Breakfast here in this hotel is a lie nothing truthful. We booked this hotel thinking they have a decent breakfast we will only have to buy lunch and dinner. Nope big disappointment we still are buy breakfast. Another side note they are not every accommodating to you as a guest. I have stayed in far less expensive hotel and been treated way better. The maids, owners don't treat you like a guest, its more like you there next ufc opponent later tonight. Save up your money and go to a holiday inn.
Hotel is too big of a word, but for a motel its pretty good. The only problem - people from the food court /workers/ park in the hotel's parking slots during the day time
Nice quality hotel but very unsafe with low quality security.
Can say it's clean & tidy compare with the price. Breakfast provide from 6 to 9 in the morning. Boiled egg, bread, rolls, muffin with cream cheese spread & margarine. Hot coffee & hot water; whole milk & 2% milk and juice.
