70% of people not wearing mask, not keeping distance. There are no signs that people needed to wear mask for the rides.A lot of people, i thought Tuesday wasn't going to be so crowded, but it was.
So,if you are concerned about this, don't go. People don't care about protection. Huge line to buy food . The store hasn't much variety of fall ornaments. I didn't see (or there was and i missed it?) farmer's produce , like meats and vegetables. If you don't mind all this, then is good option.

The farm is very clean and the big expansion is amazing. We went during the week and it wasn t crowded at all. We hope to come back at least one more time before the season is over! Overall, great experience!

This has been the one tradition my cousin and I have been able to start with our kids. We haven t missed a year yet. It s always the best part of our fall. The kids always have a blast with everything from the rides, pig races , to the hay rides.
The Apple Cider donuts and kettle popcorn are delicious .We never leave without picking some up and of course the pumpkins. My favorite part is the free picture the park offers to add to my collection to commemorate each year.

The BEST way to spend a Fall Day!

The BEST way to spend a Fall Day!

We came out to spend the day last year for the first time. We absolutely loved everything about our Fun Fall Day.
The variety of activities, foods, experiences, photo opportunities, & shopping are perfect for family and friends of all ages. The staff are incredibly helpful and courteous.
We are looking forward to our upcoming second visit. The grandchildren have located their T- Shirts with your logo that we purchased last year and they are so excited that we will be going soon.

We were there at the busiest time ( Sunday afternoon). The place was totally packed, very long lines for most of the attractions. No social distancing at all and most of the visitors without face covering.

Our son is 2 now and this is now our family tradition this year will be our 3rd year back. I used to come here as a child and now I'm so excited to share my tradition with my little guy. This place has it all one stop shop for all your fall needs. I cannot say enough about it. If you have never been please go and experience for yourself one time and you'll be hooked and it will become your families new tradition.

The staff was very friendly and helpful way to expensive for not enforcing covid 19 at all half the people are not wearing a mask. No six feet distance what so ever did not see any staff sanitizing any rides. Lines are ridiculously long. No coordination in any of the rides or other activities. I'm disappointed was expecting something better. Be prepared to waiting in line for everything and carry your own sanitizer

I've been going to Bengstons since I was little and now I enjoy bringing my son. He loves going to the petting zoo and watching the country singing skeletons (he LOVES skeletons). We're really looking forward to going this year so he can pick out a pumpkin. Last year it was almost impossible keeping him off the piles off pumpkins - he was having so much fun!

The price is a bit high, but you can use a coupon, and if you go during the week all the rides are free.

Fun place for the family, but extremely over priced this year! I almost had a heart attack! It was so crowded that my kids didn't get to do most of the attractions because the lines were too long. Reminded me of Disney World. Won't be returning unfortunately. For that price I could have gone to the Field Museum or something..

Went on Columbus Day, which was a huge mistake. The crowds were terrible. The lines were very long and it was tough to even navigate the paths with a stroller. Definitely not worth the entrance fee. But would give it another try on a non-weekend/non-holiday.

So this was my first time coming here and my first pumpkin patch since Covid-19 began. The place is huge! There is definitely a lot to do for kids of all ages (for reference, my daughter just turned two and my niece is 5). There are many amusement rides (teacups, mini roller coaster, 2 different trains, mini big drop, hay rides, etc), a couple of haunted houses (appropriate for young kids), a petting zoo and pony rides ($6/ride). While our group had a lot of fun, I didn t feel like covid restrictions were enforced here. On their website, it clearly says mask are to be worn, but when we got to the entrance and paid our fare, the teller told us that masks are optional! Like what?! We are nowhere near being at the end of the covid era, why are things all of a sudden being relaxed? As we walked through the large farm, I saw many people without masks. I also never saw any rides being sanitized after use and so our group constantly used hand sanitizer every few mins.

Overall we had tons of fun and will probably return, I just wish covid restrictions were better enforced.

This year was my first time visiting. It was such an amazing experience. I have a 1 year old and an 8 year old and they BOTH had an awesome time which is not something that I can say often when we go out because of their age differences. The prices were fair and free parking! The food is great. You must try the kettle corn and apple cider donuts! Such a different experience since I live in the city. I definitely recommend it. We will definitely make this place our go to place every fall.

I have been going here since i was a little girl. The atmosphere and friendly employees make the experience that much more enjoyable. All the upgrades done over the years give the families so much to do. I am glad i can share the experience of where i have been going for many years with my kids. They enjoy just as much i have and still do.

We loved the tractor ride- we didn t expect the decorations and installations to be so well done. There are a variety of rides and food options. The place is clean and well staffed. I was gonna take away a star for the parking confusion and long lines for everything but thats not the farm s fault! We ll be back! I loved that there was no tickets for rides etc- the entrance price of $22 covers everything.

Almost decided to bring my family here until I saw it on ABC tv this morning. The idiot they were interviewing didn't even know what charities they work with. I wont waste my time at this place since there are plenty of other pumpkin farms in the Chicagoland area.

My family and I were there today even through the rain. Very clean and kid friendly. The staff was awesome even with the weather. I can t express how much I appreciated the courtesy for being military. I don t have a huge amount of money especially with five wonderful children. I showed my ID and was told thank you for my service. Money has been tight the last few months and didn t expect this. Whomever runs this place has my vote and my business forever. The staff is amazing especially who helped me at the front today. Thank you so much for an awesome day. FYI I never do reviews. I highly recommend this place.

Overly priced, $22.50 for a 4 yr old is insane. Not to mention this price does not include most attractions a 4 yr old would want to do anyway! Crowded, waited in line for nearly 2 hours for a hayride. 1 hour for food!! We didn t even get to the petting zoo. The only good thing this pumpkin patch has going on is the kids playground. So if you want to take your kid to the park & see some pumpkins along the way come here!

Bengtson's Pumpkin Farm is an absolute family favorite and must for us every season. My parents began taking me when I was a little girl, and now I get to enjoy taking my kids every year. One of the things that I love is watching it grow every year. New things are always added, and it is fun for all ages. It's great fo see the farm improving every year, knowing that the money we spend there will be well spent by the farm!!

Bengtson's has become a family tradition now and we enjoy going each fall. Our son loves the tractors and playing in the corn and we enjoy all of the activities and he food trucks are great. One suggestion is having a cheaper admission rate for those entering after a certain time. For example, we have a toddler and he doesn't wake up from a nap until 5-6pm. We love going to the farm and going for 3 hours and paying full admission price kind of sucks since we are limited on time. Otherwise, the prices are fair for the activities you get and I can't wait until we get to the age of no more naps so we can spend the whole day there. Definitely recommend Bengtsons for anyone who is looking for plenty of activities for kids and parents alike.

A great place for family. My wife and me drove down the place and enjoyed lots of fantastic moments there. Also my son loved free rides. I just could give a low score for refreshments. I wish I could see more drinks options and also some ride prices are unfair.

Way to expensive for what is offered since you have to wait an hour in line for a short ride that's meant for kids. Save your money and go to great America instead. Pumpkins were way over priced and although this is a local farm it's definitely a commerciaized institution nothing down home feel about it. We have been 3 times and it was the same each year. Of course the kids like it cause it's something to do but unless you spend the entire day you are not getting your monies worth.

Great place to bring the family. My family and I went this year and had a blast it'll definitely be a family tradition. Depending on the day of the week you go the price differs. I went on Wednesday and each person over the age of 2 got in for I believe 11.47 and everything is included besides food drinks and pumpkins. We even got a free family photo. You can go on any ride as much as you'd like. Hayrides baby animals house of horror and so much more. We were able to go onto the baby rides with our kids witch is great. There is so much to do here and they have great food. Go check it out and you won't be disappointed.

About Bengston's Pumpkin Farm

Bengtson's Pumpkin Farm is a family-owned and operated farm located in Homer Glen, Illinois. The farm has been in operation for over 38 years and has become one of the most popular fall destinations in the Midwest. Bengtson's Pumpkin Farm offers a wide range of activities for families to enjoy during the fall season, including pumpkin picking, hayrides, corn mazes, petting zoos, and much more.

One of the main attractions at Bengtson's Pumpkin Farm is their annual fall festival. This festival has been named America's #1 pumpkin farm festival by Country Living Magazine and attracts visitors from all over the country. The festival features a variety of family-friendly rides such as giant slides, pony rides, train rides, and even a zip line! There are also plenty of food options available at the festival including classic carnival treats like funnel cakes and cotton candy as well as more substantial fare like BBQ sandwiches.

In addition to their fall festival activities, Bengtson's Pumpkin Farm also offers school field trips during weekdays throughout September and October. These field trips include educational tours that teach children about agriculture and farming practices while still being fun for kids.

One thing that sets Bengtson's Pumpkin Farm apart from other pumpkin farms is their commitment to sustainability. They use environmentally friendly practices such as composting leftover pumpkins instead of throwing them away which helps reduce waste.

Another unique aspect of Bengtson's Pumpkin Farm is their dedication to giving back to the community. They partner with local charities each year to donate a portion of their profits towards helping those in need.

Overall, if you're looking for an unforgettable fall experience filled with fun activities for all ages then look no further than Bengtson's Pumpkin Farm! With its award-winning fall festival attractions combined with sustainable farming practices and charitable giving initiatives - this farm truly stands out among its competitors.
