We've been going here for the last past 3 years. My kids love it! I think its one if the best pumpkin patches in IL. I love their pig races, they're so much fun to watch. The employees are very helpful and nice. Definitely recommend everyone going here!!

We have been coming here for the past 4 years and usually love it. But when today and it was such a disappointment. More than half the people were NOT wearing masks. There was absolutely NO social distancing in lines. It was extremely crowded. We ended up leaving early. Definitely would not recommend going here during the pandemic. They are not taking any precautions.

We visit every year if we can. We drive 2.5 hours because this place is so worth it! It's easy to get to, parking is a breeze and they have so much to offer! The food is amazing and affordable. We love the cider! My favorite part are the pig races. They are always so comical and the audience is encouraged to be involved. The big corn tent is a hit for our kids. As they grow they find more things to love about this place too! 0-100+ there is literally something for everyone!

For all you Karen s complaining or scared about Rona do us a favor stay in your little bubble forever while the rest of will go and enjoy our lives :) keep

So much fun! I've been with my friend and his family and it was amazing!

We try and make it every year here! I have sister dates with my little sister and she always has so much fun every time we go. I recommend going through the week though less people! Can't wait to go this year!!

Took my son there this year for the first time and he LOVED it. Price is very reasonable for what you get. Free rides and the letting zoo put it over the top. The decor is awesome and there are even camel rides. Highly recommend this place. Will go again next year!

This was my second visit here and my family loved it so we visited again but this time it was horrible ,sad and a heartbreaking experience. We spent about 2 1/2 hrs there. It was 12 of us 4 adults and 8 children. on the way out we picked out pumpkins and went to check out we were all in the same line and it took us about 5-7 minutes to check out. Finally as we finished our purchases we headed towards the door and staff members said have a good night thanks for coming and that was that. No one was checking receipts or anything As we head towards the path a male staff member and the police ran behind saying excuse me can I see your receipt and then started asking everyone in my family to show their proof of purchase as I showed mine he questioned it and I ask why this was happening to us and the cop replied because we think you stole it. But what I don t understand is why were we singled out not to mention my family had parted they went behind everyone of us we then were asked to leave , in which I replied we don t have to because we paused to be here which was very embarrassing and scared the kids. But it s obvious why this happened!!!! We re African Americans who were enjoying family time and I guess it was to good to be true for us to actually purchase pumpkins. I guess that was the one place we just had to visit drive 1hr and actually pay to get in and steal a couple of pumpkins . I will never visit this place ever again and I will definitely be spreading the word .

This place is the best place to enjoy family time!!! We keep going back year after year, there is no other place like it and it just keeps growing and growing......it's a ~must go to pumpkin patch~.....!!!!! The food and entertainment is never disappointing :-)

The most amazing farm out there! It is an experience different from any other farm we have been to. They have so much to do that includes the whole family. The best part about it is there is no additional fees like some places charge. We drive over an hour every year to visit!

Second year we were able to go and my kids had so much fun. It s worth what you pay and there is something for all ages.

I ve never had the chance to go your farm. Heard many good stories. I am raising a foster child since the age of 5 1/2 months old and would love to take him. Also would like to take my parents that just got rescued from the horrific hurricane in Puerto Rico . I would love to have a family outting that they can enjoy and ease their minds of this storm. My mother suffered a minor heart attack when she arrived and now I want her to experience something different and magical. They are both seniors. My family and I have been visiting Bengstons for many years. It truly is the best kid friendly place! It's always so fun when family/friends come with us to experience it for the 1st themselves. I have a little one this year to continue the yearly tradition with. My friend is even coming with us to take professional pictures of our family at Bengstons. Can't wait!

Absolutely love this place!! It's always so clean and a ton of fun! I've been bringing my son since he was 2 and every year the excitement gets higher and higher. We go 2-3 times a week when they open every season! There is so much stuff for every age. I love that all the attractions are free! I spend so much money at the fairs in the area and this place have 10x more to offer and you end up paying way less to give the kiddos an amazing experience! Super excited to see the new rides they put in this year!!

Oh lets not forget the insanely good donuts!!!! To die for!

Great pumpkin patch. I always take my kids every year. That is one of our family traditions. There is alot for the kids and adults to do. And there food is great also.

We love Bengtsons !!!!! Me and my family have been going for 5 years now this year being the 6th. The farm is very clean and staff is very helpful alway!! We love it and will for sure keep making this our yearly family tradition. The kids love it!!

Had a wonderful time here, so many free rides and fun things to see! The petting zoo is adorable and lovely and the ride operators are so very kind.

I have been going here since I was a kid. Now I had brought my kid and he loves it. Such great staff and many great activities for the price. Best darn pumpkin farm around Chicago. You won't go wrong!

Bengston s farm is one of my favorite fall activities. I moved to Illinois a couple years ago and have lived in different states and this is by far the best farm. Tons of activities for kids of all ages.

We've been visiting Bengston's annually since we were dating. Now married for 13 years with two kids and loving our visits more than ever! So much to do and rides are included! Makes it so easy when trying to budget! Kids can ride all day and no need to worry about buying more rides. We spend ALL DAY on our visits...this year that was nine hours! Decent choices for lunch (we always get the mac n cheese w brisket) and snacks along the way. Staff is attentive and facilities are clean. It's been two weeks and the kids are still talking about it. Visit Bengston's website for all you need to plan your day! We drive about an hour to get to the patch but it's a drive worth taking for a great day of making memories!

We loveeeee this place! We have to go every year for an annual picture and the our girls don't let us forget that they want to go!!

Tons of fall family fun. Lots of room for the crowds

Amazingly done. Even when crowded , doesn't feel like otz so spread out. I went there as a kid and now I take my own children. Fantastic day tradition !

Bengaton's is the best for a fall family outing. My grandson looks forward to visiting every year. He usually starts asking when it's opening at the end of August. The amount of activities for all is overwhelming! If you visit you won't be disappointed!

The barbecue pork sandwich was good it wasn't as great as I thought it would be but the pumpkin bread pudding was really good

I'd consider myself a bit of a pumpkin farm aficionado and this is one of my favorites! I loved going as a child with my family, then as a teen with my friends, while dating, and now with our own family.. Something for everyone to enjoy!

My family loves going to Bengtsons Pumpkin Farm.. I recommend that you bring your family. Plan on staying at least 4-5 hours to really enjoy all they have to offer. ... Thank you Bengtsons for the wonderful memories.

I always manage to get a weekend of f of work to visit! Very clean and very fun for adults and kids. Definitely will be going back once the weather fairs up.

Entrance is too over priced. Nothing much too see..we went on sunday total disappointment all they want is to make money out of this to get on rides is five dollars each ride and five dollars for a dixie cup of carrots for the petting zoo to feed the animals. We only spent like 2 hrs here only fun part would be the corn pool.

Been going to Bengtson's Pumpkin Farm for at least 30 years. Its a family tradition. Great family destination. The kids love it.

This is more of a Halloween themed amusement park than a pumpkin patch. They have pumpkins for sale but I m sure they were grown somewhere else. Also, if you want to use a wheelbarrow to take the pumpkin to the register and your car, you have to pay $2. There are better and more authentic pumpkin farms around.

I love it here. There is so much to do here whether you want family friendly fun, somewhere to hang out with friends, or even go to on a date. From pig races & petting zoos to corn pools & tractor/wagon rides, this place has enough to keep you entertained from open until close.

Had a great time with the family, lots of things to do, but the games get a little over crowded

I took my son for the first time back I 2013he was three at the time and he loved it. There is so much to see and do, he was full of excitement which made my heart melt he has autism so I was kinda not sure how he would react to it all with the crowds but there is plenty of room to walk it's not congested when trying to get around from point a to b like most places are they give you tons of room for walking and use of a wagon. The prices are normal and the kiddies rides are just right for little ones. I love This place and my son gives This place a triple thumbs up we can't wait to visit again next year!!

Bengtson's Pumpkin Farm is is so much fun for the entire family!! I enjoy my self as much as my 2 year old! They have enough rides for everyone and their food is also great. I have an awesome time every visit with my family and friends. Keep up the good work!

This is a great place to go to spend the day or just a few hours with your family. It has fun for all ages. They even have a free picture booth which is awesome cause most place charge you for this kind of memoribilia. They have rides and if you have toddlers most of the rides are great for smaller children.

Great family fun place. The kids love the rides, the corn crib to play in and the pig races. Everyone that works there is frendly and the place is clean. Be sure to go there.

Went there with my nephew and niece on a Thursday, and they loved it. Only got to stay there a few hours since they had to wait for my nephew to get out of school, and he had school the next day, and they live about an hour away, but he still had a great time. My nephew is 4 years old. Lines for rides weren't too long. Would be a great way to spend the day with kids, with all the rides and petting zoo, and they have plenty of great food to eat, and other great stuff to see. Wish we could have stayed there long with them.

We love going here! It was a family tradition when I was a kid and now I get to take my daughter! We fly in from Florida every other year and this is a must on our to do list.

My oldest is 3 1/2 and we have gone each year since she was born. WE love everything that Bengson's has to offer and my kids have a blast! Can't wait to go back each year!

I was reluctant to go bring my family this year due to Covid but went anyway. It was such a beautiful experience and the staff was sooooo friendly! I can t thank this farm enough for deciding to open (even though regulations from the state had made it almost impossible). My family felt safe and if your not afraid of leaving the house and enjoying fresh air, I would highly recommend this place.

Great place to go with the family. There are all sorts of rides, a petting zoo, hay rides, face painting, you name it. Food is ok, but apple cider donuts are really good. Try going on a weekday if you can, otherwise be prepared for large crowds.

We have taken my sons there when they were young and now we ve been there three times w different grandkids at different ages. There is truly something for everyone. Our youngest enjoyed the panning for gold and stones in the water especially and of course the rides I highly recommend

Saturday will be my first time going but I've heard so many great things about it. It's about an HR drive from my house but from what I hear it's WORTH IT!!!! Can't wait

We love Bengtson s! We have three fall birthdays in our family and a trip or five to this awesome pumpkin farm is a necessity. Great rides for the kiddos and fun shows as well. The donuts and cider are amazing and we always have a great time here! We can t wait to kick off our fall season at Bengtson s soon!!

Best pumpkin patch/farm/amusement in IL!! My family and I have been going here for the past 8 years after going to Sonny Acres and Goebert's since I was a kid. They have the most attractions, rides, exhibits and the largest selection of pumpkins, squash, and gourds. Worth every penny and the staff goes above and beyond to ensure your family has a wonderful visit.

I have been going to Bengtsons since I was a kid. All I have is fun memories there so naturally when I started a family I definitely started the tradition back up again and it has grown larger and added even more fun things! There are other pumpkin farms in the area but none that even come close to Bengston's ! There is something for the whole family. They create a festive atmosphere complete with music and animated characters. There and small animals to see and pet. The pig races are audience interactive and it's really creative. You can take a haul ride to go pick your pumpkin or choose one of the many they have. There's gift shops and haunted barns and a maize maze! They have some food items to snack too. The only downside it that because it's so popular it gets super crowded and they have parking but it's not always so close. It's best to go a little earlier in the season before the huge crowds come out. There are coupons available in most local publications. My kids and whole family love the place!

I was Here last year With My Family For The First time! This was the Best Pumpkin Patch I had ever been to With My Family I felt like a Kid Again for a couple Hours. My Sons And Girlfriend Are Begging me to Go Back! Highly Highly Recommend

I highly recommend making this a yearly trip.... I have been coming here since I was a little girl and since then I've always loved it.... I can remember loading up the cars, everyone getting together and taking off on a little road trip which back then seemed like the longest car ride ever! I remember being scared of the skeleton throwing up to the scary witch! Getting lost in the corn maze was always fun! I'm now 30 and still make this a yearly trip my now 10 year old daughter love it as well! This tradition will keep going on as long this place is open! We absolutely love coming here! We can't not wait to come and have some family fun this year

Zero safety protocols in place. It was over crowded. More than half of the crowd had no mask on. There was no distancing at any of the attractions. The only place I saw social distancing markers was at check out but they were ignored. Many of the staff had masks pulled down to their chin. I was very nervous watching my kids crammed in line for ponies in between two families with no masks. I took one look at the packed hayrides and turned around and left. Anyone who has concerns about the pandemic and who worries about spreading germs to those vulnerable should avoid this place.
