Pretty fun. A little overcrowded and expensive, but the kids had a good time.
Pretty fun. A little overcrowded and expensive, but the kids had a good time.
This place is a family tradition once you go it ll be a every year occasion! Been going for 27 years. It has fond family memories for my children, parents and myself . If I could give 10 stars I would
Fun place to spend with the family lots of activities for kids and tons of food options!
Very FUN place! There s many attractions but, I hope they expand and make even more. It s very clean and they have different food options, multiple rest rooms and benches even helpful stations where u can wash your hands, it s well laid out and a great place to take the kids. Worth the money!
This is a great place I just really hate that there are a lot of people not wearing a mask. That's disrespectful to the owners and the employees of Bengston.
Absolutely the best place to make memories. I truly cherish mine and look forward to making new ones each year with my own children. Thanks for the fall fun
Went here with my friends for some fall fun and had a fantastic time! There so much to do and see and definitely worth the entree fee. Free family photos too!
I've been going here since I was a kid. Now I bring my kids. Best pumpkin patch ever. Love the atmosphere. So many things to do and see. Excited to see the new expansion.
This is a fun place for family and even those without kids. We went in a group of four on a double date and had a wonderful time.
Such a wonderful and fun place for the family. Great yearly tradition for the fall. Something to look forward to every year. What is fall without having such fun!
My kids love this place. We've been coming for years. One trick that I've picked up is going through the park, going to walk through attractions, taking pictures, buying pumpkins and jumping in the corn pit then going out for lunch and maybe an arrend or two. Then coming back after the crowd has died down and going on all the rides. So if you're making a day of it, try doing this to avoid the long lines.
This place our fav spot each fall. We love the fair type fun that s perfect for our young children. As soon as the trees start changing colors my kids start asking to go to Bengtsons.
My kids and myself love bengstons! There's so much to do there and don't forget the apple cider doughnuts... mmm mmm good!!!
It was really boring this year! We ve gone the pass 6 years and was disappointed! We were there on a Friday and they didn t have any corn one of the things we were looking forward to! The tacos were terrible! Only ate a couple of bites and threw them all away! Sooooo disappointed!
My all time favorite place to go for fall activities
We have been going to Bengtson s for years and are so excited to finally take our almost 2 year old for the first time this year!! It is more than just a pumpkin patch, it gets you in the complete Halloween and Fall spirit! The pig races are great entertainment and the food is delicious! It was a family tradition and provided so many great memories for me growing up and now I can t wait to continue that with my children!
Was a beautiful place to take they day and enjoy, the beauty and tastes of fall. Great family place. Food was very expensive. You might want to bring in your own and drinks too. It is allowed. Or eat at one of the restaurants close by. There is a good selection. Only fault was ours. Always need to check on what days , holidays and school days off. We went on a school day off and it was incredibly busy. Long long waits for rides, and food. But all and all a great outing.
I THIS PLACE!!!! I bring my kids and family here every year and sometimes several times during the season. I have seen many changes through out the years and it just gets better. Definitely come ready for friendly crowds, awesome food and so much fun!!!
My family goes every year & we love it. Every year we find something new or that they have added something new. Great place to take the family.
Why over priced owners just out for the money someone on a budget can't afford this place get ready to spend big money pumpkins why over priced.
My kids love this patch. They have great time every vist. Well I enjoy myself with the fresh apple cider donuts and the awsome kettle corn.
One of my favorite, family tradition places to go. Highly recommend. Great atmosphere, attractions and must have goodies for all ages! Do NOT leave without getting the apple cider donuts!
I have been going there since I was young I like coming back every year.
Took my 10 year old daughter this past weekend and we had a BLAST! The haunted barn was just scary enough while still being fun for her. Large petting zoo! Plenty of photo ops. Everything is included which is great too! We cannot wait to go back next season :D
We go there every October when the weather starts to cool down and it s the best pumpkin patch in the area!!! My whole family love it
Overall, it's a great place for family fun.
They don't seem to care much for safety though. They let a parent on a children's ride, which in general is ok, but this guy was so large that the restraint bar couldn't close all the way. Several parents protested for the safety of their children. But the operator ran the ride anyway.
My husband and I have taken my son to your location since he was a newborn. And every year since then which has become a family tradition. He has grown a sense of loving everything fall and pumpkins so cant wait to take him this year. So exciting!
Picked up a few pumpkins here back in October. Very family oriented and a fun time as well.
We love the Fall season and what makes it even more special is our annual visit to Bengtson's! We always try to fit it in on a weekend. During the week, school, work and activities keep us busy but it always brings a smile to our little 4 year old's face to know we are headed to the pumpkin farm. It brings our family together and there is just a magical feeling upon entering the gates. We hope other families enjoy their visit as much as we have for decades to come!
Went on Friday 9/22, was greeted by two smiling staff members collecting money. Both girls answered all my questions I had since being my first time here. Made my 2 kids laugh and started our evening out on a great note. The admission price was fair, the farm was very well kept up and every worker was very personable. My 8 and 10 year old loved the rides and food. The spinning cow, slide and corn pit kept them busy for hours. Need to come back because 3 hours wasn't enough time. We went through everything pretty quickly but i cant wait to go nack and have fun with my kids! Thank you staff of Bengston's for the hospitality! We will be back at least 2 more times.
This place is amazing we been going every year for the last 5 years. They are all so nice and try to be as clean as possible. Definitely will be here again this year. Cant wait !!! Thank you Bengtson for a great experience every time.
This place is one of the most amazing places I have been We was fortunate last year to win a family pass.. I have a pair of twins that was a little too young to enjoy all the wonderful things they have to offer .. I was hoping to take them this year but money has been tight on us.. but this place is amazing very friendly staff very helpful and just a place to enjoy with ur family ...
I Love Bengtson Farm!! My family and I have been going there every year for 20 + Years its our family tradition. We love the Haunted Houses, Pig races, Rides, Food. Theres so much fun I can't pick my favorite. We get our pumkins here and they are great quality and good to carve! We love Bengston so much!!
For over 20 years my family has been visiting Bengston's Farm and making forever memories. I can go on and on to what makes this place so wonderful. Beautiful farm with so much to do for the whole family! Always adding new attractions , but so nice to see the ones that are from "back when" as well. As for the pandemic, there is clear signage posted upon entering the farm, as well as on their website about Covid and the environment, to which you will be in. The farm is taking precaution by placing hand sanitation/hand washing stations though out the farm and 6 foot placement markers on the cement. Masks are worn by employees that have direct contact with patrons, which can not maintain a 6 foot social distance (example, ride operators food vendors) CDC and local/state officials have obviously cleared this establishment for business. Listen, this farm is not "Disneyland" like some referred to. This is not owned by a big corporation. Bengtson's Farm is family owned and operated. This is the livelihood of this hard working family. With the pandemic, small businesses are struggling real bad. We as patrons, NEED to do our part as well, if we want to feel 100% safe visiting a public place. So, if there is not a 6 foot marker somewhere.....use common sense and stand 6 feet away others. You have control of your body and where to stand. Bring a back up hand sanitizer with you. We are all in this pandemic together, so if you wish to go out in public, there is always a risk no matter where you go. Be safe, do your part and especially be kind to others. Also, be grateful for this family on giving us the opportunity to enjoy the fall season, in a beautiful and fun outdoor place and making new memories with our family and friends.
Absolute best pumpkin patch to go to. I've been here tons of times as a kid and now it's been my family tradition since my daughter was born. We've been to tons of pumpkin patches and bengston's has never disappointed us. Not to mention their corn on the cobb is off the chain!!!
Love this place but this past weekend the lines were beyond long on saturday.
It was amazing and fantastic service was perfect rides were amazing and they had very good service there i definitely recommend u to come here
My family and I really enjoy going here! We had so much fun last year! my kids really enjoyed the rides and everything in there is just extraordinary... highly recommend it
My family and I love to visit bengston's pumpkin farm! So much to do and so much fun! Kids really enjoy the rides and I love how they are included with admission!
Great place to bring the kids! Everybody had a blast!
Such a great place to enjoy family time! Great attractions with great food! It s a must every year!!!
A dependably enjoyable Fall experience for kids and adults alike.
We love this place!! My family have been going for about 4-5 years straight now and it s always a blast to go!!
This place is awesome for kids. There is so much to do and so much to see, it's well worth the price of admission. My son is 3, I've been taking him for a couple of years now, and he loves this place. I often think he likes Bengstons more than some theme parks up north. It's a must go if you have children. Even if you don't have children this place is neat and worth the trip.
No mask enforcement and way over crowded for what's going on in the world today.
Very money hungry family running this...$20.99 per person? Really you re gonna charge a 3 year old full price because all attractions are free very over priced & too crowded. Not family affordable at all.
The best place hand's down! We found this place about 6 years ago and haven't missed a year since! Its like going to halloweentown!
Great prices, food, the best of all fun!
Bengtson's is our favorite fall tradition! It is definitely a place you do not want to miss!
Terrible crowd! I can't believe, they let so much people in!!! It's important that schools are not working and all other places are number limited, but today I saw more than 1000 people there. Half of them not even wearing a masks
I love this patch..i have been coming here since i was born when i parents brought me. I have carried on the tradition with my 2 sons and hope to continue it this year with my new baby.
I love this farm! Not only is there attraction for kids, but for teens and adults. Love the new rides added, and how each year they bring something new into the farm.
We love Bengston's Pumpkin Farm! My family has attended every year since 2009. Its wonderful to see how much it has grown in recent years. There is so much to do and the prices are extremely reasonable for the amount of attractions they offer. We drive out from nwi just for that reason. Thank you for giving my family something to look forward to every year!
So much to do here. Hayride, corn pit, kids rides, petting zoo, pig races, slides, parks, food, etc. Spent 2.5 hours here and could have stayed at least another hour. Go during the week when prices are almost half of what they charge on weekends. Try the apple cider donuts they are excellent even though they are 10 bucks for 6 of them. Get them from the bakery right next to the entrance that's where they make them fresh all day. Avoid this place on weekends and Columbus day if you want to avoid crowds.
This place is breaking the state mandate will over 50 people and half don't have mask and employees are not enforcing the mask mandate will be reporting to cdc. Stay home not worth your health.
Very good place to go on visits very good food lots of animals good for the kids and adults took my granddaughter there
Love this place! It s become a family tradition to go here each year. Can t wait to take our 2 year old this year!
Love love love Bengston s! It has definitely become a tradition now. It s so much fun and so much to do. The rides, the pumpkins, the food, the corn it, and the food trucks! Just a perfect way to spend a Fall day! Every visit is different and adorable! It s a must do!
I WAS REALLY SUPRISED AT THE CAPACITY ALLOWED DURING COVID-19 . MORE THAN 50% OF PEOPLE WITH NO MASKS. NO SOCIAL DISTANCING PERIOD. THE HAVE LONG LINES . PEOPLE ARE CRAMED IN LIKE SARDINES. THE PULLED PORK WAS TERRIBLE. DONT FORGET EVERYTHING IS HIGHLY OVERPRICED AS WELL. THERE WAS HUNDREDS OF CARS IN THE PARKING LOT. WITH POLICE AT EVERY ENTRANCE. WATCHING THE PLACE GET PACKED. THEY HAVE A SWING RIDE. NOTHING BEING WIPED DOWN AFTER EACH RIDE. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. IT WAS ATLEAST AT 85% CAPACITY. MY YOUNG BOYS HAD FUN. SAFETY ISN'T A CONCERN HERE BY THE WORKERS OR THE OWNERS.
Love Bengtson s! Look forward to it every year. It s been a tradition in my family. True meaning of good family fun!
This one is big, it has a great variety of games but what I didn't see is that there was hand sanitizer everywhere there were only a few bottles of sanitizer another thing is that they also have very few people working and they can't cope with so much people
I ve been taking my kids for the last 5 years they still love it even though they re teens now. Definitely making it back this year
Just 3 years ago I decided to make going to Bengtson s a tradition for my 2 kids. I remember going to Bengtson s when I was their age on field trips and was excited when I found out it was still around. We love it. Always a good time when we go. Lots of things to do and it seems every year it s something new. From the delicious doughnuts, to the petting/feeding zoo, horse back rides, rides and more it s all a good time. Always clean, always friendly staff, always a good time. Can t wait to go back this year!
This is a carnival and pumpkin farm all rolled into one. They even let my husband in for free since he is a veteran! My daughter and I had a blast. Also they have 2 trains to ride on so yout are not waiting a long time. Just wish it wasn't so cold and rainy the day we went
Last year I would have rated Bengston's 5 stars as our first year there, this year it was a disappointment. First of all limiting the amount of people in this place should be a priority,
especially during the times we are living in. I would have definitely rather been turned around for having so many people let in, versus pay $80 on a Wednesday at 5:00 pm to not get anything accomplished. I could have easily waited 2 hours in the line for Uncle Bubs and the other food booths weren't open. My kids were starving . Shame on me for not bringing snacks, but last year the snacks places/food stands were open and the lines were nothing like this. My kids got on 2 rides and they were just bummed. Bengston's you need to think about safety and if you are going to pack the place then all the establishments should be opened and people should be walking around sanitizing.
Unfortunately didn't get my money's worth this year.
Such a cute fun place for all ages. Even our 9 month old had a blast. So glad we went during the week too because it was still packed but not too packed. Wish we knew the family photos were free though. We totally passed it by thinking we would have to pay so we planned to go back after we found out how much but got caught up in all the fun oops. This will surely be a new family tradition (with the family photos ;) ).
We went to this farm first time last year when my son was 1 and it was the best experience experience ever! It was so much fun with lots to do and reasonably priced for all that fun. My husband and I had as much fun as my son did so its not just for kids. Brings out the kid in you! Bengtston's will definitely be our go to farm every year!
Way better than i thought possible. Go early because there are no lines on the rides. And only porta potties, but they were super super clean. Also no baby changing stations but our 1 and 3 year olds loved it, as did their 3 and 5 year old cousins.
Fantastic place for kids and adults too. Lots of attractions for kids: carousels, trains, pigs race, small zoo, pony rides and many more. Great selection of pumpkins to buy. Food and beverage. We were there 3 times and we will back for sure this Fall.
Amazing place! Can't wait to take my daughter on the train this year!
Last Sunday was way too overcrowded, like Disneyland. Wasn't like this last year. You couldn't move and lines were over an hour wait for every ride. Food was an hour wait as well so we didn't get any. At $21 a head and the fact that you can't move in this place I think I'll explore other pumpkin farms in the area. Avoid this place.
Always fun and great to see them reinvesting and making improvements and additions year after year
Fun and relaxing place to enjoy for your entire family:)
Very nice! My family goes every year the place is very clean and reasonably priced. Our kids and grandkids love this place lots to do.
The place was awesome our 5 yo twins loved and so did we
Too crowded. If you want to spend a fall day, with half the city of Chicago go to this pumpkin farm. We got there at 10am on a Sunday and two football field size parking lots were filled completely. They should sell tickets to limit the number of guests. However, this farm probably wants to pack as many in at the expense of the visitors' enjoyment. I did not want my child to be trampled or wait in line forever to see animals for $23/person so we decided against going in and turned around before we paid $70 dollars for 2 adults and a 3 year old. I would advise only going to this farm on a weekday when the thousands of people from Chicago are not there.
It was so much fun. It rained but my family still had a blast! Bring quarters if the kids want to feed the goats!
This is by far my favorite pumpkin patch, so much to do and fun for not only the kids but adults as well. I go here every year and it keeps getting better and better. Always recommend it to family and friends.
Good family fun. Wash stations, sanitizer stations throughout. Good to feel some sense of normalcy by getting out and having fun locally.
Bengston's is a family tradition for us each year! Our kids look forward to this every fall. The facility is well kept and they keep adding more fun things to do each year. There are activities geared to all ages and the staff is friendly. Plan on spending most of your day here creating fun family memories!
This has been a tradition since my son has been born. He looks forward to going every year and always has a good time. We go about 3 times a year just because he absolutely loves it. I d recommend going during the weekdays because it s not as packed as the weekends. From the food, to the rides, to the animals.. everything is great!
It was good if you wanted something different. But... after paying over $20 a person, I had 4 people with me. The lines were ridiculous! 1.5 hours in line to order food. Rides and attractions over 30 min. Couldn't even go see everything. Couldnt even enjoy the day with the horrible crowd. The even posted something that said too many people and lines are long. How closing down people coming in. Between the entrance fee and amount of food. Well close to a $200 even, which felt like we we barely did anything because we were just sitting in lines for everything. Will be going somewhere else next year....
I take my nieces here every year! It is always full of new and awesome things to do! it is a 40min drive from where we live BUT it is worth the drive everytime! We cannot wait to come back this year.
Wanted to have a day of fun with family to celebrate my birthday and picked Bengtson's pumpkin farm. It was the best find... Fun for all ages! And the perfect way to welcome fall.
This place is an absolute gem! Something for everyone. Come for the petting zoo, stay for the pig races.
I used to come here when I was little and loved it. Started bringing my daughter here when she was born. Don't really care for it much anymore. I do like the Jimmy Crack Corn barns now, but I feel like its more like a carnival. There is no corn field anymore so the hayride is not very fun. They no longer stop at the pumpkin patch they just drive you in a small circle. The pumpkin patch used to be HUGE and now its small and alot of the pumpkins are really big.
Lots of fun things to do. Great price and good rides and food
This is a traditional fall place to go. We keep coming back because nothing in the area compares to Bengston's. There is plenty to do and you could spend the whole day going from spot to spot exploring their farm. We love the corn bin and the hay ride the most.
Perfectly done pumpkin patch. Lots to see, great activities and food options. I appreciate that they don t upcharge you along the way - admission gets you on all the rides, etc.
And the BEST Apple Cider donuts I ve had in IL. Wish I had gotten more!!
Bengtson's Pumpkin Farm is a family-owned and operated farm located in Homer Glen, Illinois. The farm has been in operation for over 38 years and has become one of the most popular fall destinations in the Midwest. Bengtson's Pumpkin Farm offers a wide range of activities for families to enjoy during the fall season, including pumpkin picking, hayrides, corn mazes, petting zoos, and much more.
One of the main attractions at Bengtson's Pumpkin Farm is their annual fall festival. This festival has been named America's #1 pumpkin farm festival by Country Living Magazine and attracts visitors from all over the country. The festival features a variety of family-friendly rides such as giant slides, pony rides, train rides, and even a zip line! There are also plenty of food options available at the festival including classic carnival treats like funnel cakes and cotton candy as well as more substantial fare like BBQ sandwiches.

One thing that sets Bengtson's Pumpkin Farm apart from other pumpkin farms is their commitment to sustainability. They use environmentally friendly practices such as composting leftover pumpkins instead of throwing them away which helps reduce waste.
Another unique aspect of Bengtson's Pumpkin Farm is their dedication to giving back to the community. They partner with local charities each year to donate a portion of their profits towards helping those in need.
