Love this farm ! With a great petting zoo and yummy drinks and food ! We have been coming for 7 years :)
We go every year! Is an amazing place for Fall season. Specially if you have little ones!
Another cute farm- like amusement place to visit in the fall! Especially with younger kids 12 and under. Rides were fun, petting & feeding zoo are always enjoyed. Pumpkins galore to purchase! Kids loved the Apple cider donuts! Food smelled great, I didnt eat this visit, but everything looked good lol. Would go again. I've been to places a wee bit better in the west suburbs, so that's why it gets a 4 star.
This is a great place to experience fall and all it has to offer which includes food, rides , pumpkin patch and many other fun activities for families. The price is about $19 per person to enter including kids over 2 years old. Rides and food are additional, parking is free.
I would not recommend visiting during the COVID-19 pandemic. We reviewed all of their COVID information online before going. Upon arriving, we found almost none of it being enforced.
Their website states "Our staff will be wearing masks in customer facing stations". We visited the selfie station, the wagon ride, and the petting zoo where you can purchase food for the animals and none of the staff present were wearing masks. We saw this was true at other attractions as well.
Their website also states "Masks are highly recommended when social distance cannot be achieved. ... Our staff cannot be asked to force guests to comply with your interpretation of the guidelines." Every other public place I've been has politely asked customers to comply. I don't see why this place should be any different.
The farm was probably at 80% capacity when we went, late on a Sunday afternoon, with no obvious signs they were trying to limit that. Additionally, even though (again) they say on their website they have "many handwashing sink areas" and "many hand sanitizing stations in high touch, high contact areas" we found this to be mostly untrue. The only place we saw hand sanitizer was exiting the selfie station and near the donut stand.
We stayed maybe an hour, got our photo and our donuts and left. I hope they will re-evaluate their protocols while we are still in this midst of this pandemic, to ensure everyone can have a fun and safe fall season.
I find it really fun my little siblings love it the hay ride is too cute and so is the petting zoo
My sister and I went for the first time last year to take our children, my son had just turned 1, and the experience was absolutely awesome. My son, who could barely walk, had the best time of his life especially at the petting farm and being able to pick out his own pumpkin. We will definitely be there again this year. Maybe 2 visits.
Took my kids here one time and they have never stopped asking to go back!
They absolutely LOVED it! We made this our choice for our family fall pumpkin patch activities! We look forward to going back, there s something for all ages and I enjoy watching the kids have fun! can t wait to come back!
This place is amazing compared to other pumpkin farms. My girls loved the rides especially going in the corn box. The hay ride and pumpkin catapult were awesome. There were more fun things to do here than Goeberts. We are definitely coming back.
The Apple cider donuts were delicious, we loved them and my daughter's had so much fun in the rides, we even got on them a second time. I evben had fun in the farm with my girls, we just love Bengtson's
Cannot wait to visit!! Camel rides, funnel cake & pumpkins, oh my!!
Absolutely not safe during this time. Majority people not wearing masks, workers not asking people to wear masks, and we even saw workers not wearing them. People not keeping distance at all. There are some spaced out markers for people to stand on in some lines but no one followed these. There were not limitations on how many people could enter. Really disappointed in the lack of responsibility by management. Would definitely not recommend going this season.
Bengston s Pumpkin Farm has been our favorite family tradition for over 10 years. Our family has grown quite a bit in this time and all three generations enjoy all the farm has to offer. The pig races are a must, family fun for everyone and so many photo ops to share and remember for years to come!
This awesome as well, cool and look some Animals too......
Have a lots of fun thing for the kids ,and scary hunter house that makes you go again. Best place to go, I recommend everyone to go.
Good shows. Good activities. Kids will love it. I have been to other farms. I think this one is more suitable for parents with kids. Lots of kid stuff
Always a great time!! We've been visiting for years. Love the new rides. BUT a little too crowded where it's not enough social distancing going on and they are not enforcing the use of masks.
Awesome family friendly place full of entertaining events and delicious food all at a reasonable price!
If you want to catch COVID-19 this is the spot to go to. They do not enforce masks, distance, nor do they sanitize anything. They allow the maximum of people in due to the hour and a half lines to wait, don t wipe off anything just allows people to ride immediately after groups and the hayride is absolutely normal like the pandemic never happened. I spent 100$ to stay for 30 min yesterday. DO NOT RECOMMEND super health risk!
We have a blast every year it s been a tradition in my
Family I will continue with mine!
I love that this was a family tradition 20 years ago when I was a kid and has remained that way with my kids now.
Great Family Atmosphere Loved The Entertainment for kids & adults.
I heard lots of great things about Bengston pumpkin patch so I was excited to give them a try. I went on a cold rainy day but we still had a great time. I was able to go with my daughter who is 2 And she LOVED it. There were lots of rides for she was able to go on which o was.wprried she would be too little but she wasnt. She had a great time in the hay rides and loved all the animals.thay were there. We were able.to snag some donuts that she absolutely ate ip! I'm hoping to be able to take.my older 2 daughter's back (5 &7) bc we haven't had a chance to take.th yet this year! The rides would still be age appropriate for those wondering. Coming from Bolingbrook there's a few other pumpkin patches we could've went to that are closer but Bengston is worth the trip!
Been going to Bengtson's for about 8-9 yrs now, every year there's something new. Great food, environment, activities! Kids love the pig race, hay ride, corn box and rides. We were upset they didn't have the pork chops last year but they have the food in the barn and food trucks. And of course there's the yummy popcorn . Can't wait to go again
The kids had a wonderful time , lots of yummy stuff to eat and fun stuff to do
This place is awesome to visit. Lots of fun for the whole family. I am a little disappointed in the lack of enforcing social distancing/face masks. The hay rides were packed and we sat face to face. The lines for the rides which are supposed to have room between groups did not.
Our favorite Fall tradition is visiting this farm. It has so many attractions that my kids loved to do. We go back every year!
Great activities for young and older children. I go every year!!
Made it for our first time this season! Beautiful day amazing time! Can't wait to go back!
Fun time for the family, lines were long was only real complaint.
Been visiting this place for years, so fun! Always making memorable moments with family and friends here. Looking forward to visiting Bengstons every year.
One of the best fall attractions got better. Lots to see and do with good places to grab a bite. Without knowing you could easily spend the whole day here.
(Edit) Unfortunately they are not taking the pandemic seriously, from the phone call I had, they re not enforcing mask mandate because some people have medical exemption, really? Plus no social distancing, no smaller crowd. I would love to pay more and support Bengstons during this tough times but when you can easily get infected at The farm, Me and my family will have to wait for next year or find a different fall farm activity. Really disappointed in how they are handling this situation.
Our family had the best time at your farm thank you so much. So much fun things to do for my little ones. Really hope we get a chance to return this season 100% best place we have been for this season. First time we have been but we will be back every year
Best Pumpkin farm around. Even if it is a rainy day the farm is a fun place to be. So many fun rides, lovely petting zoo, so many cute attractions. This farm is kept up and it is so clean. Even when it is crowded you can still do so many things and there is plenty of room to sit and have a good snack with your group. Music plays and the witch cackles, the train bell rings, just puts you in the fall mood. Make sure you bring a camera, as there are so many photo opportunities. This is just a fun family event.
We're going today for my sons 4th birthday! It's his favorite place all year long he wants to go!! I'm so excited to see what the farm has to bring us this year! We are never disappointed! I did go to Bengtsons and another pumpkin patch last year..i do regret not going to Bengtsons twice. I know for this year though!
Great place lot to do. Jus be prepared for long lines
My parents brought me here as a child and I continue the tradition with my 5 year old daughter. Her favorite is the Haunted House. We can't wait to go this year!
Our first visit was last year. We came from Michigan. 2 1/2 hour drive but we will definitely be back again this year. Love, love , love Bengtsons. I tell everyone about it. Well worth the drive. Lots of pumpkins, fun rides, food. A whole days worth of fun and a affordable price. See you in a few weeks.
Not your average pumpkin patch, so much more! I love that it s more of a mini theme park for the whole family to enjoy. From the rides to the haunted houses, and the amazing animals. This place will not disappoint! Can t wait to come back this year!!!!!
My family has visited for 6 years and never disappointed .
I ve been going here since I was a little girl and I m so grateful that they are still around to take my little girl now. I love all the new attractions and my favorite is feeding the animals . Best in town!
Bengstons is amazing! My 6 year old loves the corn pool and roller coaster!! We now will be going this year with our 2 year old to continue the tradition!
We love bengstons farm! We visit there every year with the kids and they always have a blast!
Great place for kids and family! We enjoyed the rides, animals, and food (specially the donuts). Admission prices were very reasonable. We will definitely return next year!
Absolutely love this farm! Love watching the dancing chickens and all the shops! So much to do and fun for the whole family! The service and staff are always great! Looking forward to this season!
My 4 year old had a blast at this farm. Seems like there was something for everyone though. Great rides and attractions especially for the money. Would definitely recommend this to anyone with young kids.
Expensive, but the kids really enjoy it. It's basically a pumpkin patch with a carnival atmosphere.
Great place to go with the family. We always have a blast!
Great place to take your family here... they have all kinds of really cute decorations, a lot of creativity in making all those songs for kids. A huge variety of pumkins. Games for the kids which are unlimited rides after you pay the entrance prize which to me is like an awesome deal. You get more than what you paid for. I love this place definitely coming back.
Fun and new rides. They remodeled and its nice!! Everything was open and working this time around
I feel the waiting time for the rides and food lines were very long.
Only been there once as a child , looking forward to returning ! Now that I have kids of my own !!!
This is the best fall activity that I have been to every year with my children. It is very inexpensive and has easy walking paths for those of us with strollers. They have pumpkin picking, pig races and everything else in between. The food is even a hit. I would suggest the pork chop on a stick. It is so good
Been going here for years. They have continued to improve the farm adding attractions and more food options. Unfortunately my kids are all too old now. Guess I will wait for grandkids!
Great place for kids even adults, some dates are cheaper than others. Almost everything is included with the fee to get in. Awesome corn pit!
This pumpkin farm is wonderful, lots of rides and things to see and do for the whole family. Everything was nice and clean. Hand washing stations and hand sanitizer readily available.
We love Bengstons pumpkin farm. They have so much to do there my kids loved it last year, we cant wait to visit again!
My first time going last year and I loved it. Going again this year. It s great for the kids.
Love going to this every year. Great selection of pumpkins. Prices are fair and its a good family tradition to start with the family. I can't wait to go this year!
A lot of things to have fun, just the food wasn't tasty and cold
I've been going to Bengtson's since it opened with my cousin and her children, then my children and now......my grandchild. Many many memories. The farm just keeps getting better. Hey everybody...I'M GOING TO BENGTSON'S.
My family and I love going to Bengtson s! The children enjoy all the rides and playing in the big playground. We look forward to going every year. We ve tried to go to different pumpkin patches but non compare and we always end up coming back to Bengtson s.
I have a 4 year old son who has autism and have a hard time with outings but whenever we go to bengstons he comes out of his shell and let's himself have fun. His even old enough to get on rides now and he LOVES it. The staff is also very understanding and and respectful of my son's tiks. They don't stare at him when he jumps and flaps his arms because his having fun. They get excited with him and ask if his having a good time. We love the time of year they are open we always look forward to visit a place where my family feels accepted. And now this year we will be taking the newest addition to the family.
There is something fun and exciting around every corner so make sure your camera is ready.
It is nice week end place for Family with Children.Free rides with Kids and small zoo will give nice entertainment for all.
We went during the week as soon as they opened. Not crowded at all. Avoid evenings and weekends we we're told. Was cool. We loved how clean and organized everything was. Peoe we're super friendly. We will be back next year for sure. Loved the animals. Bring your own water though, a bottle of Kirkland Signature will cost ya 2 bucks. It's only 2.99 for 40 at Costco. But hey, they need to make a profit. And it's worth it. Thanks for having such a cool pumpkin farm.
Great place to take the kids. Weekends can be busy the closer you get to Halloween.
Bengstons has been our family tradition for five years now. It is always our first fall outing each season. We always go on opening weekend. We have seen this amazing place grow year over year. There is always something new, along with our favorites! Highly recommend for all families! We can t wait until this year!
My family loves Bengtsons pumpkin farm! We go every year. Can t wait to have some of their delicious apple cider donuts & popcorn this year.
I truly loved my experience from 2017!
It was our first time visiting, and truly enjoyed every moment of it. It truly was a good experience.
I know media is constantly tempting us to be on our phones, taking pictures and such, however, this experience was so fantastic - I didn t even bother to check my phone.
The photo booth they had was enough of a photo for my family and I. I truly engaged in every moment of it, and will cherish the fun I had with my daughter, and husband.
It s very family friendly - huge win in my book!
Love this place! It has been a family tradition for years!Hands down the best pumpkin farm I've been to
Fun place for friends and family. Recommend to go during the week. Weekends are extremely busy.
I have taken my 3 year old daughter here the last two years. She loves it. This year they added more rides and attractions. It seems to get better every year. I recommend going during the week to avoid the crowds. We went on a Tuesday night and we were able to get on the rides several times without much of a wait.
Best farm in the world!
Konos who
Its cute and fun for kids but should add more stuff for adults.
We love this place and it has continued to be a family tradition for over 20 years. Along with the kids, we have watched the pumpkin farm grow and become even more fun! We love the rides, great food, pig races, hayrides and just playing in the beautiful Fall atmosphere! Can't wait to visit this year and see what new fun they have added!
Had a wonderful time. Today was the last day but won't be forgotten.
Parking was a breeze
The lines weren't that long to get on the rides.
Lots of public restrooms (porta potty)
Friendly employees
Free family photo that would be emailed to you
Food was decent and the price wasn't bad either I got a turkey leg for $9
Lots of rides for the children minimum that I saw was 36 inches tall to get on the rides.
The pony ride was nice the ponies look healthy
All the animals look well-kept.
Hope to see them next year
Use to go for field trips back in grade school and I absolutely loved it! Definitely my favorite pumpkin patch! Can't wait to go back this year and take my fiance and little girl!
It was so fun. Toke both my kids and nephew and little brother and it was amazing .
Love Bengstons! Every year I take my siblings and we enjoy everything this pumpkin batch has to offer. It s great for people of all ages!
Fun for the kids. So much to do. What a great way to celebrate fall.
Went in on a cold Friday, and had a nice time. Crowds were tame and my 5 year old had a lot of fun. I suggest moving your schedule to come on a non- busy day/time for the maximum experience. My only suggestion would be attendants in the corn box like there used to be. There were 12 year olds rough housing aggressively, and I got kicked in the stomach as I was sitting on the edge of the corn box. A bit more attention to safety would have brought my review to 5 stars. I also miss the pumpkin bread pudding
