My husband and I love bringing our daughters here. I remember coming here as a kid and having a blast. Picking a pumpkin, the corn pit, hay rides I could go on and on. The farm is family orientated which I love and we make it a tradition every year to go.

We love everything about Bengstons! From the BEST apple cider donuts, amazing churros, great rides for all ages, the pig race is always a hoot, or pink! Haha. The petting zoo is amazing! Our family started going the year after our some was born and will continue to go every year. Best Pumpkin Farm in the area! Can't wait to go this year!!!

The last time I've been to the farm was 3 year's ago. The first time I went my oldest & I had so much fun. Since then I've had 2 more boy's & can't enjoy the outside world with them as I want because of money issues. Honestly I would love to show my boy's a good time, but this mommy is balling on a budget. Please pick me
This place was nice and very enjoyable. Bring quarters to feed the animals in the petting zoo. Although i only recommend for small children maybe up to age 10.
Between home and school, the kids come here a couple of times a year. They always have a good time!

My family always would visit the farm when I was little and now I take my son every year (multiple times too!). Over the seven years since his first visit the farm has grown with new attractions, animations, and food options. The value grows and grows. Unlimited rides delicious treats. You cannot leave without trying a donut and kettle corn! Pig races are positively perfect. A must do for every family!

Always fun! Great for whole family. Fun stuff for little kids. All included in price except pony rides I believe and food/products of course. Plenty of animals to see. Must buy tickets online ahead of time. Pumpkins around .36 cents/lb so may want to hold off and get in stores. The monkey butter is very yummy great on French toast or bread or ice cream. You can purchase on your way out.
I have taken my son there since he was born it s a beautiful place to start a family tradition. Everything from the games to the food is perfect, now I can t wait to take the new baby and continue our family tradition!

Bengstons has always been a family tradition for us. We took our 2 children on Wednesday and it was insanely crowded. There was no limit on how many people were in there. All they care about is packing in as many people as they can and make as much money as possible. Zero consideration for their guests which makes me sad it explains the pandemic is still so bad. We were shoulder to shoulder. About 70% of the guests were not wearing masks. Employees were not wearing masks. There were no sanitizer stations. No rides were bring wiped down in between riders, no distance between people in the indoor attractions. People were on my heel and telling me to move closer to those in line. There was no distance on the hayride, no distance at the pig races. Insane lines and 40 minute waits for rides. I felt like I caught COVID just being there. I have been to 4 different fall destinations including County Line and every one of those places had precautions in place and required masks. If you aren't worried about it then go for it. It's a fun place. But mark my words there will be an outbreak in the Homer area and we will know who started it. Masks only protect you if you have something it doesn't protect you if someone else has it and doesn't wear a mask. They aren't following the IDPH or CDC guidelines and should be shut down.

My family and I have been going to Bengstons for over 15 years. It is a family tradition and I couldn't imagine a fall season without going. We have so much fun every year, and even though my kids have long outgrown the kiddie rides, there is still so much to do and see. The food is also great! I highly recommend Bengstons for people of all ages!!

My family and I have been here 2 years in a row this is going to be our 3rd year. We are making n this our family tradition. The kids love it and us adults love seeing the smiles on our kids faces. This year is going to be better since there is a roller coaster the kids can not wait for us to go. Plus love that we get a wonderful family picture when we go, since this year we have two new family members to add to this year's picture. Absolutely love this place and prices our very reasonable.

Great place to bring the entire family! We've been going here since 1996. It's grown tremendously over the years and is always clean with a friendly staff.

I brought my 3 and a half year old twins for the first time this year and had a blast! There was so much to do, so much to see, and we could have spent several hours more there. Hope to go back soon, or next year.

This year we spent our traditional family outing to the pumpkin patch, here. We've been here a few times before, this year was the coldest but we still had lots of fun!!!! Parking is free and staff are friendly great experience every time =)

Today was the first time I have ever been abd the kids had a blast. Lots of activities, rides, pumpkins. My son laughed so hard on one of the rides that everyone watched him the whole time. Well worth the money!
I've been going to Bengtson's since I was a little girl. My parents took me and my sister and now as an adult with 2 kids of my own I carried on the tradition and take them. It's always a great time, always feels so cozy and festive. We always enjoy ourselves there from the pig races, to the hay ride, to the must have funnel cakes! I recommend Bengtson's to anyone who is looking for a great pumpkin farm to spend the day at.
I took my daughter here, it was a great time, get a pumpkin, they have apple cider doughnuts,and ... and ...and, they have a pumpkin cannon, so sweet!!!and they're petting zoo was cool too, give them a couple bucks and you can feed thee animals, barnyard animals, and my favorite the pig races!!! I love this place been coming there since i was a young child now 29 with 5 kids and been moved out the area for 10 years but still drive back 2hrs one way ever year when we can its hands down the best pumpkin farm around so kid friendly and the kids always ask as soon as school starts back up when Re we going they look foward to this every year. They love the pig races which are really Great especially how they get the kids involed as well and they also love the haunted barns..the price isnt bad for what it all inculdes as well as there is so much to do and see but as a big family at timez its not affordable but when u have a big family u find this Anywhere that cost cuz more people more money of course.. But still vote this #1 in illinois
Had a great time with the family celebrated my daughters 1st bday there and for a baby she had fun. She loved the corn pool couldn't get her out lol. So did my other 2 kids hopefully more memories would be made upcoming years.

If you are worried about COVID just don't go to places. Stop putting down a business because of how you feel. This is a beautiful pumpkin farm and they are doing great.
This was the first time bringing our family to Bengton's Pumpkin Farm and although we were really excited, we were incredibly disappointed. We spent almost 90$ to barely be able to walk through the swarms of people. Their were long lines for all of the Rides, food places, picture areas, bathrooms..ect. We left after an hour because it just wasn't enjoyable. We were able to ride the "hay rack ride" which took you to see the parking lot and that was pretty much the highlight. Management refused to refund HALF of the admission that I had requested, which I felt was more than fair. They do not care how many people are crammed in (even though it was becoming a severe safety hazard) or whether your experience is enjoyable. My family will not be returning. I would suggest you save your money and spend it on a farm that you can actually enjoy.
Such an amazing time! There is so much to do! Our favorite were the corn pit and the petting zoo! The food is great and the farm is beautiful and very clean! Can't wait to go again this year! It's a tradition for our family to take our daughter!

We have been visiting Bengtsons ever since we had our daughter going on 10 years ago. I ve always been impressed that there s something new to do every year. They definitely invest in their property and business. The farm is always clean, the staff is friendly and you can never be bored! Our favorite part every year are the pig races. Can t wait to go back this year!

This is our FAVORITE Pumpkin farm to visit. As a family of 5 we have to budget for this, but we look forward to it every October. Definitely get your money's worth, with all of the things for kids to do as well as adults.
We had such a great time and the price was great! Not sure I d want to pay the weekend rate and the food was not very good at the bbq place but even saying that it was a wonderful time and would go back and try the taco place instead. The donuts and kettle corn are really good. The activities are great especially for up to 10s but even my teens had fun.
I have 4 kids, and its family tradition to go to bengstons every year! Tjey love all the kids, especially the huge slide! The petting zoo is also one of their favorites and they love jumping into the corn pit! We would really love to win the package to go one more time before halloween!!

I thought this place was military friendly...I had a great time however, our experience walking though the entrance was uncomfortable and rude. I m currently on leave visiting my hometown and family. My family and I walked up to the young man and I asked him if there was military discount and very politely he said myself and 3 members were allowed in free of charge. I was very happy and grateful however the young blonde lady next to him kept insisting THREE times and arguing with him infront of myself and my family that it was only for me and not for my daughter or family. I thought it was unprofessional and I felt completely disappointed that she acted that way towards my family. The worst part is that she wasn t even helping us she stopped attending her line in order to argue with this kind young man. Overall if it wasn t for this man s Kindness I would have left. What that girl did was unprofessional and if she felt some way about my family she could have handled that after we left not infront of myself and my child. I don t care what people do to me but I will say something if you purposely treat MY family like they are any less. This occurred October 3rd 2018.

This is our 20th consecutive year coming here. Getting a little pricy but still had a good time and its money well spent and parking is still free. My family and just love the atmosphere here, the memories of seeing my now teen age kids sitting on the pumpkin piles for pictures, remembering them eating funnel cakes getting powder sugar all over their faces as well as new memories being made. Bengstons Pumpkin Farm is a wonderful family experience and a wonderful trip down memory lane year after year.....thanks for all the memories....

Overpriced and overcrowded. I was there for 5 hours. Here s the breakdown: 30 minutes standing in line for the train, 30 minutes standing in line for tacos, 1 hour for ice cream, 1 hour trying to get past LARGE crowds, 1 hour eating, 30 minutes in line for funnel cake. Less than half an hour of the 5 hours actually enjoying anything. They need to cap the place out when it gets too full. Terrible experience.

I love this place. Me and my wife loves the piggy race, corn maze, the potato sack slide and always the haunted house. The pumpkin patch was amazing and you all provide transportation on your tractors around the fair to the patch. I have to new twins I will love to bring so you will definitely be seeing us this year. This is our favorite pumpkin patch. We come here at least once per year. The animals seem really happy, you get so much for your money. The guys that do the pig races have a great sense of humor. It s super clean. We absolutely love it here and would recommend it to everyone.

This is by far the best pumpkin patch my family and I have been to. We went for our first time 3 years ago and have made it a tradition to go every year. We can't wait to come back this year. My kids loved it and wish that we lived closer to be able to go more.
My kiddos loved this place. Its very big and there's so much to do. I really liked that all the rides and entertainment are included with you admission,.the only thing we paid for was the pony rides.
This was a wonderful outing. Perfect for family and date night. Note: don't eat before going; my mistake. Great food at the Chuck Wagon and there's roasted corn on the cob and great smelling pizza(didn't get to try). You have to pay to enter but there's free parking. Lots of pumpkins in various colors and, oddly, shapes.
My entire family LOVES Bengston's! Unlimited rides, great food, and family fun. We love the HUGE corn pit the installed in the pull barn - I actually get in there with them! It's like nothing else. On a personal note, the owners are the nicest people in the world. Every year we get our pumpkins there as well because they are grown a few miles away on their family farm and are always fresh.
