Worst pumpkin patch experience of my life, way too crowded, every activity or food vendor had a 1 hour wait, they even ran out of donuts after waiting in line. Way too expensive, i felt robbed considering the horrible experience and the workers were indifferent, they didn't care at all. No corn maze, no apple picking, no pumpkin patch. Our two kids were miserable. NEVER AGAIN.

I would give it 0 stars if I could. We waited 3 hours in line. To many bees we got stung by them. Swarms of people everywhere we could barely walk thought the place. More people here than in Great America. We hate it don't come here. It is 15 dollars per person. It was 3 hours away from our house and we came here for nothing. They don't take care of child safety. They don't deserve to own this place. We hate it don't waste your time on coming here. Watching paint dry is 1000 more times fun than coming here and doing stuff here. I am an 8 year old kid and I hate it I would beg to go somewhere else. They are like a Great America wanna be with longer lines and worse lines

This is my second time here. They've added more rides. I went with my family. Everyone enjoyed theyselves. I wonder if they will add new stuff next year. The food is average carnival like food. The apple cider donuts are a must try. They're delicious warm and moist. Plus they are made onsite. I wish I had one now guest i have to wait a year. The pulled pork sandwich is yummy. I really like the potatoes and steak. It would have been even better if it was season better.

I have been bringing my children here for 13 years. We love the donuts, rides, pumpkins and the entire Fall atmosphere. We have so much fun every time we visit and it never gets old! Can t wait to go back this year.

I love this place I come here every year. Today I tried the home run inn pizza they sale and found a huge hair inside the pizza very disgusting.

I have always enjoyed this place up until today. The pumpkin farm part has always been great entertainment. However today, i was just making a quick trip to buy 30 mini pumpkins for wedding decorations. I told the guy at the gate, all i needed to do was go right over there, pointing out the bins of mini pumpkins directly behind him, i was just there to grab those. He apologized but said i would have to pay the $16 admission just to shop. I said really, i have to pay to go right there and buy pumpkins. He said yes i would have to pay the admission even for that. Once in, i had to pay $1 to borrow wheelbarrow to put them in to take them to the register. It was crazy, i was by myself, one 52 year old female just trying to buy 30 mini pumpkins, which were $1.99 each. And for this i paid $16 to shop. I won't be going back there again, I'm totally disappointed .

Halloween fun for the kids, huge park with lots of activities and a nice petting zoo.

Yearly tradition. sometimes make it twice. Every year out only gets better! By far the best pumpkin patch around. Very clean and friendly staff. Can't wait to bring my little one this year and let her get the same experience for older brothers have.

Last year was the first year we went with my family to bengtsons pumpkin patch to celebrate my daugthers birthday. Let me just say I was impressed by the customer service and the facilities. They were clean and not too over crowded. The lines to the attractions were going fast. I will definitely be returning this year my daughter had a great time there, especially petting and feeding the animals.

I have been going to Bengston's for the past 30 years. And I have been bringing my kids to it every year since they have been born. We love all the fun we have while there.

I be coming here for the past 10 years whit my kids and I just to love this place but lately it s getting to much for the entrance charge and long lines for all the rides that are included in the cover and you have to pay for everything even the food you get for the pettingzoo the have going up on price every year so be ready to spend at least 250 for family of 4

My family loves Bengston's Pumpkin Farm! It was recommended to us by a family friend a few years ago and we've been coming since 2015! The one admission price per person, that includes the attractions, is much better than the ticket system that other places use. There are many fun attractions/rides for kids of all ages, but they are mostly geared for the young school-aged children. My children's favorite thing to do is play in the gigantic corn box! We look forward to visiting Bengston's each and every Fall. Two major improvements that I'd recommend would be installing actual bathrooms instead of the port-a-potties, and adding more food options to your food stand menus. Also an occasional halloween-costumed character walking around interacting with your guests would be fun too!

We love Bengstons Pumpkin Farm! It is one of the best family attractions to visit for the fall here in the suburbs. Bengstons accommodates all ages and has some of the cutest decorations and shops; not to mention great food and selection of pumpkins. We go every year!! Our family loves it!

There is so much for the family to do! My kids ages 7-13 love coming here! We have made it s family tradition for 4 years now. Can t wait to visit this fall

First time at the pumpkin patch and had amazing time! My three year old loved it . It was a Wonderful place to go and the whole family enjoyed it. Can t wait to go back .

For the price of the food you would think you would get hot food, it wasn t warm and due to them rushing they didn t look closely to what they served me. I found a piece of plastic wrap in my Mac n cheese. Too crowded as well, felt like they didnt enforce people to wear their masks when near big crowds. Don t recommend the hot chocolate, tastes too sweet and it s a very thick liquid. Too pricey for food and drinks that don t meet the standards.

We love going!! Our whole family enjoys it s been a tradition for many years.

I went there a couple years ago first time and I loved it, great place to be. I'm taking my little cousin this year she is so excited to go she keeps reminding me about it since last year. Can't wait to take her!!

I loved the nature here. Its honestly not that exciting if your not 10 and under. The pumpkins are beautiful. The applecider is amazing. They also have fresh really great corn.

First time at a pumpkin patch, the petting zoo was a nice touch! Everyone seemed happy and willing to help. We ll be back next year

This is my favorite place to go to for pumpkins festivities. It's the greatest Festival to go to. We have been coming here since my children where small. We have celebrated my son's birthday multiple times and we always have a blast. We are going back tomorrow Sep. 15th for their opening day with new attractions, we just can't wait. Great place to spend a day off from school.

Great place! Way too crowded!! We came here on 10-21-18. The attractions are excellent. But we waited in line for 45-60 mins for nearly everything. There were just way too many people to enjoy. I d rather pay more money to have less people. Otherwise, 5 stars.

We have been going to Bengston Farm since 1986. It has gotten, bigger and better than it was since it started. I brought my kids there and now I am bringing my grandkids there. We love it and will be going again this Fall!!!

I went to Bengtson's for the first time in the 3rd grade. I am now 30 years old and to date it is still the BEST place to go for pumpkins and fall fun. Looking forward to taking my husband there for his first adventure this year!

This place has been a family tradition for 12 years with my children!!!! We absolutely love how clean ,stroller friendly ,and kid friendly of alllll ages. The Bengston family is so nice and the fact they dont sit on the sidelines they are always walking around making sure everyone is happy and everything runs smoothly. I have never went any other place I couldn't imagine anything being as enjoyable for my children then this place !!!!

We love coming to Bengstons! Our family and kids have a blast. My husband loves the bbq they serve and there are so many options for the kids and different things for them to do!

Lots of family fun and worth the price of admission. Organized free parking.

I have not yet been there but plan on visiting this weekend. I'm from southern Illinois and plan on stopping for my kids to enjoy while we are in the area! I've heard nothing but great feedback about this particular pumpkin patch!

You spend a very good time if it were not for the cold it would be much better

This is one of the best pumpkin patch I've ever been to! Highly recommend it. There's activities for the whole family! From train rides to pig races. My family and I can't wait to go again! And the new tractor ride is beyond amazing! We loved it!

Love taking my kids here and the races the kids always have a blast as do I highly recommend this place. Plan on spending all day hay rides mini haunted houses slides food. Photo opportunity. But to get the best experience take the day off with the kids weekends are really busy and more expensive

Last month I'd sent a card to Bengston. Today I've received a letter from the same place. It's about the animals. I'm glad they're altogether. I wish I could go visit them but I couldn't.

Expensive but lots of entertainment for kids!!! Popcorn cotton candy, and churros were great! Donuts not so good

Very disappointed with what has happened to the place. I have been going here since I was 3 years old and this place has gone downhill. You used to take a hay ride to the pumpkin patch, not anymore. Corn maze is gone, the dancing skeletons in the gazebo were removed from the skeleton band. Gift shop is also disappointing. Used to sell skeletons and other Halloween decorations, now it s just toys, stuffed animals and non Halloween related decor. They no longer sell Indian corn, one of the staff even told me I don t know what that is but we have kettle corn. Seriously? Going here each year was a family tradition since my childhood but now I ll be starting a new one with my own kids elsewhere at a place that has an actual patch to pick the pumpkins from.

This place is magical. When you come here, you're not treated as a visitor, but family. This farm is yours to enjoy. Located in a very quiet, safe, peaceful and beautiful area, you are relaxed already. Enter the farm and all of a sudden, it's magic. Everything is here: corn maze, hayride, haunted house, gift shop, pig races, etc. Not only that, but the personal touches and sheer creativity throughout the farm transforms you. By the time you leave, you will feel like a kid and truly feel the magic of the season.

I brought my daughter to Bengston's last year for her first trip to a pumpkin farm. This year, I had my son and will be taking them both to continue this family tradition! This is absolutely my favorite time of year because of this farm! The farm offers so many great activities that I have loved, even as I was a child. I'm especially looking forward to the BBQ this year!

My experience at Bengstons has always been great. The farm is really big and there is lots to do with the family. Whether you re young or old, you will enjoy it. I ve taken my nieces and nephews and they love it. Visiting Bengstons in autumn has now become a family tradition. :)

Ohh and the apple cider doughnuts are delish. Another big reason why it s must to visit each year.

I been to at least 8 farms and I have to say this is my top favorite pumpkin patch I been to..my family and my son love it..theirs a lot to do and see from shows to finding something we all like to eat in that cozzy weather..

I feel like it was over priced I paid for my son and I 45.00 and once you go inside I still had to pay for some rides and and even to feed some of the animals. Food was over priced 30.00 not to mentioned it was not cooked properly. I m disappointed to be honest I don t think it was worth my money.

This the BEST pumpkin patch you can go with your family and enjoy all the activities. This is not only a regular pumpkin patch but it s UNIQUE for all the attractions they have and not to mention they have a big corn batch where kids can go inside!! There coffee and donuts are the best

Love going to the farm every year. It is a little bit pricey but they have lots to do.

Bengtson's is a place I remember us going to when I was little, one of the best memories I have of my grandparents!! Now we get to take my kiddos and make even more great memories!!!! By far the best pumpkin patch and farm around!

Our favorite pumpkin farm! Kids 2 and under are free. Once you pay for entrance, most attractions are free including coasters, hay rides, train, haunted house, petting zoo, etc. Parking is also free. There are some paid things like pony rides, but there's enough for kids to do for free. Staff is super friendly and their pumpkin selection is amazing (large pumpkins are priced per pound, pie and tiny pumpkins per item). There are some food options including snacks like popcorn & doughnuts. It's also a great place to take photos of the littles!

Great place to take the family. Excellent food and rides for the kids. Plenty to do. Defintely worth the trip. Highly recommended. We go every year.

This is an observation, not enough signage to indicate where main entrance is as well as handicapped parking. Wonderful park otherwise

Great place for families with children. I am so happy to see they have a special wagon in they hay ride with a ramp.

Absolutely love it here! My parents took me every year growing up, worked making kettle corn in high school, and last year I took my son. I can t wait to make more memories.

No enforcement of social distancing or mask wearing with a large amount of people. Some of the revised attractions didn't have same features as the original. More commercialized

A little pricey, but if you can find a better place with more to do, please let me know. I haven't found a better place yet!

Absolutely love this place I went on a field trip with my kids and they loved it too!

I understand they are a seasonal business HOWEVER there is total disregard for the community's health. Bumper to bumper people, absolutely no way to socially distance, many with no masks. They really need to do some type of crowd control. Pre ticket sales perhaps?

We love Bengtson's! We have been going for 8 years. My kids love the corn pit. This is the only year it was packed so we didn't get to enjoy much but we look forward going next year.

Another year and another amazing time. Very happy they were fully operational (minus the corn pit thing). Kids had a ton of fun. All the workers were friendly and welcoming.

I genuinely look forward to going here more than the kids.

I love coming to this place but due to the pandemic it should be strict on the amount of people visiting. its too too crowded.

My family and I have never been to a pumpkin patch, having this been our first experience it was great. They had something for everyone, from the youngest (our daughter) to the oldest (her grandparents). We really enjoyed ourselves and can t wait to go back again.

Amazing farm!! My kids love it and here and so do me and my husband! We at least come more then a few times a year. Prices are great and a ton to do for the kids! The workers are so nice and the owner is awesome! I would definitely recommend coming and bringing your family to visit! Best place in town come pumpkin farm season. We can t wait to come, opening day we will be there with our kids!

I absolutely LOVE this place! I've been coming here since I was a kid! Now that I have children too, we go here to get the amazing pumpkins and to enjoy the atmosphere!

Bengston s has been a family tradition since I was little. I have a Polaroid of my sister and I with our parents from the early 90s and now I m so happy to be able to make memories with my now 10 year old. We go every year whether it be 60 degrees and sunny or 40 degrees and rainy. The staff is always so friendly, so much to do for all ages, and the seasonal snacks are amazing (apple cider donuts are a must). From the iconic bengstons family photo on the rocking chair, hay ride, haunted farm, to the hourly pig races it s truly a great experience. Thank you for helping me make memories for a life time. I already cannot wait to go again next year.

Me and my family of five had a blast when we visited fall 2018 we loved everything about it the petting zoo the hay rides the corn box all the rides and especially the delicious doughnuts that we accidentally ate before leaving the farm lol

Close to suburbia so its always busy (come early). Not really a farm, basically a fall carnival/festival. Lots of delish food and food trucks! Expensive entry but once again its close to suburbs so you pay for convenience. Rides are fun for the kids. They keep adding on every year. Its very clean. Pumpkins are a ripoff like most pumpkin farms which never made sense to me.

My first time going was last year and it was super fun for my son. I never thought I would enjoy myself as much as he did. We enjoyed the pig races along wit the maize pit. I'm definitely going again this year with it being my 1 yr olds first visit. I can't wait.

I remember going all the time as a kid with my cousins. Last year my boyfriend and I went and it was my first time back in over 15 years. Somethings have probably changed but for the most part, it was just how I remembered it. Cant wait to go again this year!

Amazing place! The best petting zoo of Chicago land! My toddler loves this place specially the train rides and there are 2 trains, bonus, bonus, bonus! The popcorn is delicious!

Every year we come here! My husband and my 2 girls We Love, love this place! It s our annual thing we do , we had such a great experience. This place has everything for all ages to enjoy! From the yummy apple cider + donuts , trains and animals for my daughter to enjoy, and the different theatrics/shows they have for all to watch & The staff is so helpful and friendly! We will be returning next year as well of course Can't wait again
