It's very good, but the pricing is getting ridiculous

This place is overrated af! Super expensive and crowded. There are so many pumpkin farms to choose from and this was by far my least favorite. I definitely recommend goeberts as the price has alot more included. Which ever pumpkin patch you decide you got to buy the apple cider donuts everyone makes them and they are delish !

My family absolutely loves this place. There is so much to do for any age and my kids (aged 3-13) had such a blast last year, we're counting down the days until they open this season!

I love it! I started going when my daughter was about 2 and we have gone ever since. We go on field trips everything has been very well organized! Staff has always been very helpful!

I've been to so many pumpkin festivals and pumpkin patches, overall this place is the Best One I've gone to so far! Bengstons Pumpkin Farm bring's out the kid in me! This place is not just for kids, adults will have a Great Time as well! Love this place!

We had a great time! Great entry price for everything they have to do.

Haven't been here since I was a kid. The prices were high. It seemed way overcrowded. A lot of visitors and staff didnt have mask. A lot of hand sanitizer stations around. We were there for 5 hours and not one time did we see any railings or rides wiped down. Lot of attractions but the lines were way to long. The animals hardly moved or even really awake or alert. They mostly looked sickly and terrified of all the people. Disappointed in taking my family there.

Kinda pricey, but it's a really fun place. Happy they kept the older attractions, like the chickens that dance and sing "in the mood", BAM! hits you square in the childhood. Kids had a ton of fun. The newer attractions are really fun too. Lol, they still have the animatronic tales from the crypt ghoul thing too.

Me and my family go every year. It's a great place to take the family to take a ride on a wagon and see pumpkins get tossed it the water or to see a haunted barn and even let the kids enjoy some time in a big box of corn. Smelling the yummy food and tasting the Apple cider doughnuts. Mmmmm. Bringvthe family and have a great time.

From Kettle popcorn to pumpkin launching this place is the best for good family fun....always bringing new attactions and just a great place for family's to come each year to forget about life and enjoy the day

If you want to go to an adventure filled pumpkin patch with your family I recommend to go here. They have so much to do here that you will have a great time especially if you have little ones. If you have a sweet tooth like my family you will LOVE their donuts, they are sooo delicious. Highly recommend Bengtson's!

Went in 2016 for first time . It is an awesome place for the entire family

My 3 year old had such an amazing time here. It was so pretty and clean we will for sure visit again and again.

I've been going to this place for 30+ years. My kids love it now. They have really expanded along with keeping in the original classics.

Absolutely love this place! The farting witch, the pig races, the corn pits, the pumpkin donuts, it goes on and on!

Honestly, I'm about to go on a rant because I haven't been here in years... Today was the first time I took the opportunity to spend my free Sunday at Bengstons (1 hr 30mins) and couldn't be involved with any of the activities, due to the overly crowded lines. We had to leave because it was over their occupancy, if they even had a limit! What was so poor about it is that they had a mile of parking lots that were full and still allowing individuals to enter the farm. I had to warn all of the customers who were standing in the entrance line for over 45 mins, to not even bother spending $20 to get in and waiting in an even longer line for any of the activities/food. I grew up going to Bengstons & will no longer waste my time coming to this farm. Management needs to realize how crowded their facility is and cut at a limit, or come up with another solution. It isn't safe and just ruins peoples experience. Especially, mine.

This was my first year coming
I went to a pumpkin patch last year (not this one and it was horrible)! We went here twice over the weekend(Saturday and Sunday) I loved it some much, it s literally like a miniature six flags! My son had so much fun I can t wait till next year to bring my baby girl!!!
To people complaining that it s overly packed well if you come on a beautiful week day of course! When we went it was a little packed and we waited for rides but it was all worth it because we got to stay longer rather than riding everything and then leaving, I personally really didn t mind the wait all too much! It s a lovely place don t discredit them bc of that! The cotton candy and popcorn is SOOOOOO delicious ,the pizza makes a nice snack too! I loved the mini haunted house! Reminded me of a smaller less scarier version of statesville , if you re thinking about coming! Don t wait just come don t second guess it s worth it and I m extremely picky (haha)

Overpriced, extreme lack of social distancing. Very few wear a mask.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER I WAS THERE FOR 40mins THEY HAVE NO GUIDELINES FOR CDC NO MARKERS IMPLEMENTING 6FT DISTANCE RULE. WHEN ASK UPON THE ENTRY WHAT GUIDELINE WAS BEING TAKEN THEY SAID
THEY JUST ADDED MORE SITTING NO CORN MAZE WHAT GOOD IS MORE SITTING IF YOU STILL GOING TO BE SITTING ON TOP OF PEOPLE. THEY HAVE NO CAPACITY SO IF YOU WANT TO BE SURROUNDED BY PEOPLE WITH NO MASK A STAFF THAT DOES NOT CARE ABOUT SAFETY GUIDELINES THAN YOU ARE WELCOME TO COME HERE FOR COVID-19. AWE BTW NO REFUND NOT EVEN A FREE PUMPKIN AFTER EXPLAINING THE CONCERNS WITH THE MANAGER

Lots of stuff for the little ones to do, my 3 year old loved it. Will definitely recommend and return. Favorite pumpkin patch in the area.

We love this place, this has been our fall tradition since my 1st child he is already 16, every year they have something new to go check out. Love the donuts, popcorn and the new ride. I have a 4 year old and I will keep taking him every fall. Every year I try to take a different family member so they can get to see how beautiful this farm is.

My children & I come here every fall. We all have a great time. Great food, music, play area . Great family gathering.

The say it's a delight for kids. Well, that makes me and my wife 75 year old kids. Discovered this place four years ago. I'll be back for the fifth. Admission is reasonable. All attractions are free. Food is extraordinarily expensive. Pack a lunch.

I have been coming to Bengtson's since I was very small. We just were there today and it still brings a smile to my face. New family traditions to share with my little family and I couldn't be happier! Also want to give a quick great star rating on their customer service, I had a problem (loosing a piece of paper with some information on it) I called and spoke with Joy and she was such a pleasure to speak to. She solved my problem quickly by goving me a call me back because she knew she didn't have the answer when I called her. She handled this situation perfectly and I couldn't say enough great things about her! Thank you thank you thank you!

Our #1 farm to come to during the fall, been coming here since 2015 and The excitement is the same since the first time we came here. Friendly staff, great attractions and great ambiance

I love this Pumpkin Farm. I've been going there for over 20 years with my family. It has really grown. Their Donuts are amazing and nice friendly staff! I'm a fan for life!!!

cool place but they make it difficult and confusing to pick a pumpkin. They clearly didn t have single moms with three kids and a stroller in mind when they mapped out their pumpkin patch. Beware the struggle was real.

Bengtson s farm is a family tradition in our house every fall! From the haunted barns to the hayrides to the fun slide and their famous apple cider doughnuts , there is an infinite of things to enjoy here!!!! They never cease to amaze and they know just how to entertain the whole family! Definitely rescommmed !!!!!!

Best pumpkin farm we have been to ever!! Excellent food, activities, rides and the staff is so friendly! Last year was our first time and we will be back every year from now on. Can t wait for opening!! Once you try this place you won t want to go anywhere else!

We visited on a day where most kids were still in school so the lines were short and it was easy to move from activity to activity. This place is very well organized and the prices were reasonable.

We ALWAYS have a great time. Rain or shine. We make this our annual family tradition, and enjoy taking lots of pictures in the pumpkin patch. It can get crowded on the weekends, but I don't remember it creating too much of a problem with our food and fun. I recommend the chili bread bowl with a hot apple cider!

No social distancing being followed. We went on a weekday and it was absolutely packed. Half of people were not wearing masks, including the employees who walked right next to you with their masks down. It was mind blowing the lack of care from the facility to keep people safe. No sanitizing rides, and long waits for rides with people standing right next to you. This is not the first farm we have been to this year, but definitely the most dissapointing. Im surprised how they are still being allowed to operate like this.

My family loves Bengston's! Traditionally, we go once every year. The petting zoo is my kids favorite part of the experience. We are all animal lovers! The pig races are so much fun! There's so much to do and see, and so many great photographic moments to capture. The mounds of pumpkins is awesome too!

Love this place. I always would go with my dad and sisters every year when I was younger we couldn t wait for it to open. I now have kids they are 4 And 5 now.can t wait to go this year. To take them for their first time. They will love it. Gonna bring back good times and memories we had at this farm. R.i.p to my dad.

The only reason why i didnt put 5* is because ponny ride and camile ride you have to pay and are little expensive for 3-4 circles,but if u dont wanna pay,you have another games and rides for free and cann enjoy and have lots of fun!:)

This is a must every year for my family and I, it all started when the first year we went we found out they did free family photos from that point on it was my moms favorite pumpkin farm. Once she pasted we make it a point to still go every year and do the photo like she wanted. The petting zoo they have is great my daughter loves it! The pig races, her favorite! This place is a must see! One visit and you'll see yourself coming back every year.

Great place to enjoy with the family.. alot of activities to do.. The pig race was my favorite. The food is delicious and donuts are the best ..a big plus is the parking is FREE.

Very disappointed. Social distancing protocols were not being followed or enforced. Rides were not being sanitized between uses. Entry was not being limited. It was overcrowded and walking traffic was very congested. We were there several hours and were only able to ride 3 rides because of the long lines.

We have been coming to this place since I was little and now I bring my kids here! They absolutely love it and theres so much to do at every age. Theres playgrounds and gift shops, food(who doesn't love Fall/pumpkin patch food) and plenty more activities.

Bengston s has become an annual tradition for our kids. They absolutely love the experience and it has gotten better over time with added attractions adding the kids desire to get back there. It has become very popular but we ve gotten lucky finding days that turned out to be great despite threats of weather. It s a must stop in the fall!

First time here and we love Bengston's Farm. Everyone had a blast!! BEST Pumpkin Farm ever!! We felt like we were in one of those children's storybooks.

What a wonderful place to take the entire family. There is something for everyone. This place is huge we didn't even get to see the entire Farm. We will definitely be going again this year and making this a family tradition to go every year!

It was the best pumpkin patch. We normally go to goberts pumpkin patch for Halloween but it started to get too expensive. Bengstons is a much better value and they have a small roller coaster included in the price of admission, which is amazing. I couldn't believe all the rides they have at Bengstons, most of them are for kids but I went for my kids to have a great time and they did. They also have hand washing stations but the water is cold but they have a lot of hand sanitizer around the farm and everyone was wearing a mask inside the building, and mostly wearing masks outside. I highly recommend Bengstons pumpkin farm.

Best experience ever went last year with my three toddlers and they had so much fun definately going back beautiful environment and very friendly staff thank you for an awesome time

Hands down THE BEST AND MOST AMAZING farm/pumpkin patch around Chicago. This farm has it all from A to Z. Perfect for an outing with the family and little ones Lots of things to do and eat.

Best time ever. My kids love it. This is a family tradition. We drive 75 miles just to attend because it was something I grew up doing and want my children to be able to do the same.

We like this farm, not a lot attraction for kids but it is good for all family . Ticket price so high I think , 26$ for 1 person ( I think average 20$) .

Best family experiences every year! We have visited Bengston s for the past 7 consecutive years. Our kids love it and so do the adults. So many fun attractions and it gets better each year. Can t say enough and can t wait to visit this year!

I know that I am a tad late with this review... but better late than never.
Even though I had a good time with my family here, I was very disappointed with the number of people that were at the farm during these COVID times. The place was not enforcing the use of masks or having people keep their distance from each other. There was barely any room to walk in order to keep your 6-feet distance from people that you don't know and they really crammed the people in there - even though the state was urging people to keep their distances, even while in outside areas.

It's not the first time that we have been here and with such a large price for the admission, I am sure that they could have cut the number of tickets sold in order to make sure that their own employees were bombarded with people as well.

Our daughter didn't have a chance to get on any of the rides because the lines were WAY to long - you can tell that people had been standing there for at least 30\45 minutes at least - and who wants to wait forever in line for a very short ride.

Hopefully next year it won't be as crazy... and I'll maybe give it another chance.

I haven t been to the farm yet! But the pictures and videos I see are amazig! Things I hear about the farm are amazing things. Friendly staff and loads of family fun! Great for all ages. Can t wait to go and experience the fun!

Great outing for the whole family! Good selection of the usual park food and other cuisine. Hay ride, petting zoo, shows and more. There is a lot of walking so be mindful of that if you want to take someone with limited mobility. The walking areas are paved though and there is seating throughout the park. Overall a fun experience and I'd definitely go back.

Last year was our first time there. We will make this a family fall tradition. We only had one daughter at the time now we have added twins to the family and we will be there every year. We had so much fun

In COVID times, I was disappointed in the lack of precautions this very public and crowded business had. While I understand it s hard to enforce, there was not many posters or even security guards who even wore masks. While outdoor is safer, it s not safe when it s crowded where your not able to be socially distant. If you are vulnerable to COVID (which is really everyone) I would not go here. I can see this business being great if we were not in a Pandemic but that s not the case today.
