James assisted me with my recent purchase and made the whole process very easy from start to finish. He followed with a courtesy call after a few days to ask if all was ok.
I choose to come to Bells instead of my local dealer as they ve got a great reputation. Leslie and Mark are great in servicing and always helpful and polite. Prices very reasonable!

I bought a Volvo v40 from Derren at Bedford garage in October 2017. Unfortunately it was written off in an accident in December! TBH I would never drive any other car now as I do feel it saved my life and my daughters. I called Derren after the accident and he sourced me an almost identical car just a different colour. He looked after me again and took the pressure completely away from me trying to find another one myself! I have just collected it and driven it home and I am ecstatic to have a v40 again! Thank you Derren for your help and fantastic customer care. You really did bells motor group proud! This is actually the 3rd Volvo I have bought from this garage and I will always go back from now on. Just hope it won t be so soon this time!

suddenly found that 12v charging sockets in my 4 month old XC60 had died, and suspected the fuse. Eventually found fusebox but couldn't remove cover. Called Bells, they said pop over in an hour. So I got there at 11, they pointed me at the coffee machine, and the car was back outside, fixed, before it was cool enough to drink. And no charge. How good is that??
The Volvo service desk run by Mark and Leslie, who are very helpful and efficient in getting your servicing needs sorted. The new showroom has excellent seating areas for waiting, with refreshments served by Leslie .It is also covid safe. Well done.
Bells are why I bought another Volvo; but unfortunately they seem to have changed. The people are still great but the policies they work under are not.
The whole thing is then worsened by poor support from Volvo UK which makes it hard for them to sort out problems - of which there are many with the "new generation" Chinese Volvo's. Consequently neither Bells nor Volvo are anywhere near as good as they used to be. Shame.
Who buys a car online from a dealer? Well never thought I would but in the current lockdown it is how we need to do it.

Recently picked up an approved used S60 R-design D2 from Bells. I was really pleased with the price and the quality of the car. Volvo's customer service has been exemplar so far and I'll recommend them to anyone in the future. I dealt mostly with Paul who was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional and not pushy in any way. Overall a really positive experience.

With regards to my poor review of Bells Volvo and reason I had come to this decision is because i purchased the car from Carshop Northampton.
The DAB radio and rear led strip was not working.
That tried to repair it over months of going back and forth to Northampton and them sending it to Volvo Northampton.
I then suggested to take it to my local dealership.
They agreed, so I took it in and was taken to the service department where I was met by a miserable service chap.
I booked in the car and told him the situation.
After dropping off the car they prepared a pro performa.
Which was sent to Carshop and they gave it the go ahead.
I re-booked the car, I asked for a courtesy car but they didn't have any.
I was served by the same miserable chap.
He said it will take a day.
Anyway after dropping off the car and it took 3 days. I called daily, no one gave me courtesy call to talk me about the situation.
I had to arrange a car. For the 3 days.
I picked up the car and there was another miserable lady at the service desk where I picked up my car.
Although the work was done, comparing with my mercedes dealership and Audi, the car we was not valeted. The service team where cold and callus.
The whole experience was a negative one.
Although my Volvo is as good as my Germans cars but your sales teams have a lot to learn in how the respect and behave to customers.
I felt and still feel that I was it welcome there.
I will be booking the car for a service and Milton Keynes as they are more keen my business and welcoming and I felt welcome at least.

I have purchased a number of cars through this dealership. I have always received a great service from the team. They are knowledgeable, polite and quick to respond to queries. They will definitely be the first place I go to when I next buy a car.
After driving almost an hour to get here i went into the showroom (to use toilet) and wasn't acknowledged at all. I went outside to look at used cars and then had to go and find a salesman to come outside and open and show me a car. No test drive offered in fact poor engagement! I asked about coffee and was pointed to an area where it was. I left, never to return!
I visited Bells Volvo Bedford interested in a specific XC60 specification and colour. I was dealt with by James Hendrickson who arranged an informal test drive in a similar engined vehicle. He soon sourced the exact model and colour at a competitive price and worked hard to arrange a good finance deal. Overall I was very happy with the purchase and James was extremely helpful and professional throughout.
Popped in for a quick look. Seemed to have a reasonable stock. Scored 3 because I was completely ignored. Admittedly I was not buying today so made no effort to get assistance but nevertheless not great.
Health inspection to find cause of excessive noise from rear. Cause was misshapen rear tyre which they showed supplied a video to illustrate. Got the rear tyres changed and no more noise. Video especially impressive.
Great service during sale and aftesales from mick at bells motors.
Great service. Sorted out a problem with my car boot not opening due to something being trapped in the lock free of charge.
