Really good hostel. Nice and clean with friendly staff. Since I travel with car, I have no idea with public transportation but there is bus stop in front of the hostel. Free car parking n near migros supermarket! Recommended!
One of the, if not the, worst hostels I have ever stayed in. Staff was incredibly unfriendly and unhelpful when asking for suggestions or room/lucerne related questions. The room was a mess and unclean. There was much room with beds being cramped. Outlets were scarce and one side of the room was completely lacking them. The locker locks stuck and were a pain to open and close. The shower door was broken and would not open or close. The breakfast was free which was a plus, but it was far from edible. This is not a nice hostel and is far from the city. It is also not that cheap considering the distance and condition it is in. Would highly recommend staying closer to the city in a better hostel for a couple more francs.
Cheap and best . Away from center but worth it. You will get free passes for city tour. As compare to swiss rate card. Its best deal you can get.
Good hostel,2 km away from Luzern.For a fist time in my life a had a rice with seasonings for breakfast-as they serve it.Included in price.Bus runs to a city,opposite of a hostel.
Room was cold and also the radiator.Internet very bad.Breakfast extremely poor just a sandwitch and an apple. Parking is near hostel and there are aprox 5 places. Staff was kindly. Walls are very thin and you can hear all noises from other rooms. Bed was squeaking and not confortable.
Comfortable place to get a good night rest. The beds were very comfortable, the room has excellent ventilation and the rooms required a key and you are provided a personal locker for your valuables. However the front door had open access during the day. The rooms were tight and the bathrooms were very crammed. Free coffee is provided all day to guests and they cook an excellent breakfast (fried rice with vegetables) in the morning. This is away from the Old Town Centre which is a plus.
The staff was very helpful, friendly and co-operative. I had a room with beautiful balcony view. It was neat clean and beds were very comfortable and cosy. The rooms were just the bunks and kinda small. The washrooms in the rooms can only comfortably fit someone sitting sideways on the toilet. Comforter had feathers that would poke you but maybe that s just me. Wifi was good. Staff was extremely helpful and polite. The fried rice breakfast was surprisingly delicious. It s also only a 8 minute walk to the gondola for mount pilatus. I recommend this hostel.
Nice hostel. Very helpful staff. Right next to the bus stop . Easy to reach via bus .
1. friendly staff at the reception. 2. Good location , just in front you get the bus stop where the bus arrives every 7 minutes 3. there are free lockers which is always a good thing 4. Traveled in July hence I thought the price was high hence Value for Money was a doubt 5. there wasn't a table FAN in the dormitory room which I thought was the main issue. Apart from that all facilities you can think of is present so all in all it's a good stay and I do recommend this
My stay in luzern.. very great place to stay at a cheap price... Price can vary season to season.. but they have spacious rooms.. I booked a private double bed room and it was nice and comfortable... Doesn't felt like a hostel, felt like a good hotel... You can also play games there.. Negative thing was same breakfast was given all 3 days
