I don't get this doctor. I told her that I was pregnant and she didn't even increase my dosage. If someone is pregnant, thyroid dosage needs to be increased immediately. Someone can have a miscarriage if they follow her advice during pregnancy. Her staff is not polite and rush through the call. You wouldn't be able to get answers for all your questions. They don't reply on patient's portal.
When she was ordering thyroid labs for me, I told her that I wanted few more. This is because I have thyroid for 10 years and I know what labs are important for me. But she didn't like that I was suggesting her something. I don't recommend this doctor.

I had seizure around 7 years ago and was reffered to Dr Amadian. I remmember it was a scary time just out of ER. I had a situation with my health to address. A rather tedious process getting back to work after a health scare. Dr Amadian went out of her way to assist me with stabilizing my health. Along with some great advice along the way and great bed side manor. We got me back to work and healthy. Outstanding in her field as well as in general as a physician. Definately a friend as of more recently to confide in. I recomend her as a specialist in her field.

The 2 office ladies called about my insurance twice. I called back in and one was leterally yelling why i had not told her i had aetna! i said cause i called aetna im covered and my appointment is in 2 weeks i was seeing if you had my secondary insurance! Well after that month wait when i finally saw her i was glanced up and down and sent of to a lab to get my thyroid checked(told her i just had it checked and it was perfect). I called back to reschedule to do some more invasive testing, that any doc would do so of course she would(i was misserble at the time, it was obviouse something was wrong) the front desk said go back to your family doc thay can help. PS They referred me to you! She doesnt want to cure anything thats not completly obviouse. Find a doc not so foccused on making the money

Excellent care; Dr. Ahmadian always takes time to explain and answers questions.

I just read the other reviews; I did not share their experience at all. I was treated with courtesy by her staff; my billings were always correct. I found her explanations of complex medical info easy to understand for the most part, and if I had questions, she answered them.

Doctor Ahmadian was the third specialist (after neurologist and cardiologist) that I saw for the problem of trembling fingers. Very quickly she identified this as a symptom of thyroid hormone imbalance, and prescribed appropriate medication. She explained the condition and the expected effect of the medication and answered all my questions. She also scheduled an ultrasound to identify the number and size of nodules in my thyroid, and then a biopsy of the largest nodule to check for the possibility of cancer. After the biopsy (which indicated no cancer), she explained that a single biopsy might not show cancer if the needle if another nodule that had the problem, but that the probability of a false negative was low. With a hyperthyroid condition, the amount of the medication required must be verified quarterly. Medication is not the best long term solution for hyperthyroid. She outlined my options, explaining each one. When I procrastinated, she encouraged me to make a decision. Since only one lobe of my thyroid had "hot" nodules, I took the option of having only that one lobe removed. (The other two options would have meant that the thyroid no longer functioned, and I'd have to take daily pills, though this situation means that the level of meds does not have to be adjusted, since the thyroid production is always zero.) I had the surgery done by a surgeon I already knew and trusted, and at my first post op meeting with Dr. Ahmadian, the test showed optimal results: my remaining lobe was producing a good level of the necessary hormone. I would recommend Dr. Ahmadian for anyone with hyper or hypo thyroidism, or for anyone looking for an endocrinologist.

I am 100% unhappy with this doctor. She is very condescending, unsympathetic and come across like she doesn t really give a damn. The staff is sometimes just as rude and condescending as her so no point in complaining. I missed one, just one, appointment with her and in few days I received a lecture about the relationship between the patient and the doctor needs to be based on this and that; after rambling on for a whole page, there was a request for me to find another doctor. I am not sure what is her problem is but she really need to understand the differences in culture between Iran and USA. Maybe people in her country (Iran) would be OK taking this kind of treatment from her but not here in US.

I was referred to Dr. Ahmadian after irregular lab work results. She was incredibly thorough and informative about my thyroid/parathyroid results and ultrasound report of nodule findings. She explained all options and asked several times if I understood and or had more questions. She referred me to a surgeon who also was very easy to talk with. She followed up with results of biopsy and steps to take for future.

Only disapointment was the staff member who called with the original biopsy result and only read the doctor's notation but could not explain what it meant. Then Dr. Ahmadian called me right back and explained.

I work in a Naturopathic office and we refer patients often now to Dr. Ahmadian.

I have been seeing Dr Ahmadian for years. Was referred to her by my OB-GYN. I have never had a problem with her. When i have a concern, she makes sure that she includes me, and my opionion matters, in whatever plan we agree on. I have always left there feeling reassured about my diagnosis.

Very disappointed on the medications side effects that caused me weight loss of around 20 pounds, I have been repeatedly telling them that I was losing weight after taking some of the medications, I was disappointed that my concerns were not taken seriously, I had to stop those medications myself and switch to another doctor and regained weight of around 8 pounds back
