I have rented properties for almost 20 years of my life and have not experienced a property management company that disrespects tenants like this one does. Just a horrible experience dealing with them. Their BDM, Hannah, completely disregarded my rights and requests upon showing the property I was still residing in once I had given notice to vacate. She was pushy and acted as if she did not care that my husband and I were still active tenants, simply driven by her potential commission. Prior to the showing I asked for everyone to remove their shoes, use hand sanitiser, and not go into our closet or in the fridge - none of this happened. Hannah looked overwhelmed with the amount of people who showed up to see the house and probably should have brought other staff to assist as the property was three stories and she clearly can't manage a crowd nor follow covid regulations. When it came to moving out, our prop mgr, Larissa, "forgot" to issue our bond refund and we had to wait nearly a month to get it back even though we had received an email from her saying that she would process it straight away after the exit condition report was completed and our final water bill was paid for (which I paid same day as receiving and sending her confirmation of this). She offered her "sincerest apologies", but honestly if I hadn't emailed the RTA to check on the bond refund and found out that the request for refund hadn't been submitted by Belle Prop, we'd probably still be waiting for our $5100 bond back. I guess this is what you get when you want cheap property management services in Noosa - cheap service.
Belle Property found us excellent tenants who have resided in our house for over a year now. We have been kept updated with inspections, notified of changes to government requirements and COVID-19. Our property manager has been extremely helpful and very easy to contact. We have been sent quotes in a timely manner when tradesmen have been required and any work done has been professional and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend them to any prospective landlords.
